Fountains at Gateway

Well I can tell you that we had a good time! The staff was super friendly! And the ice was super nice! No complaints at all!

The Fountains at Gateway in Murfreesboro is a mixed-use development featuring a combination of restaurants, offices, and entertainment areas situated around a central plaza with several beautiful fountains. The Fountains is located along The Gateway Island Park, offering a variety of retail stores ranging from Thai cuisine to doughnuts and burgers. The development also includes walking paths for both pedestrians and cyclists. During the winter, there is an ice skating rink, while the summer months bring many outdoor events and activities.

The splash pad and grassy area is perfect for young kids. The splash pad is enclosed, but has no shade. I found that's not really an issue for us when we choose to go in the afternoon. The grassy area has a nice feeling fake grass. There's a few cornhole games set up and usually a couple shaded spots to relax there, too. There's also an ice cream place called the Soda Bar that has specials Mon-Thurs, and there's a nice restroom right there in the same building. The events they hold in this area are nice too. Sometimes, it will be car shows, live music, food trucks, kid rides, etc. I also noticed there are lights on the trees in the evening, which is a nice added touch.

Took the kids ice-skating last weekend, which was a blast, they also have a really nice soda shop in there that makes good hot chocolate! Great little evening or weekend activity for the family!

My Sister and I was there for an all white event. The sites there were just beautiful at night with all the beautiful Christmas decorations. Great places in Murfreesboro, Tennessee to visit.

Such a beautiful, tranquil lovely area to enjoy nature, relax, take a walk or even a nap.

This place is beautiful at night, has multiple food options for date nights, casual fun, coffee, and shakes. It also has corn hole in the warmer months. If you like to run, the Greenway has a trailhead here and connects to the Battlefield park.

Nice location for conference attendees within the complex. Air conditioning was up a bit high for my liking, so you might want to bring a sweater. Tables are perma sticky because the sealer is breaking down, so that's kind of gross. Food is OK, not remarkable. I'm also not a fan of ordering from a counter, then sitting to have food brought out. The fountain drink machine was not working properly, so iced tea and water were the only options. I only had an appetizer, and my hubby had a burger. Service was meager. We won't be in a hurry to rush back.

Murfreesboro has grown so much! More then just shops and restaurant at the fountains of gateway. Kids can play in the splash pad, some free things to do in town! Green way trails just near by to take a stroll.
