Four Points Brisbane is always my go-to whenever I land in the city. The location is spot on, an easy stroll to shops, cafés, the Botanic Gardens and more. The rooms are simple but clean, comfortable and exactly what you need for a short stay.
Where the hotel falls short is the atmosphere. The lobby and Best Brews feel a bit flat, with no music or energy. Moving Best Brews into the lobby could really lift the vibe and create a more welcoming social space.
Check-in could also use some polish. Arriving with multiple bags and being greeted with “How can I help you?” felt a little unprepared, and the towering computer screens hide the staff which doesn’t help with first impressions. They’re friendly, but more awareness and anticipation would go a long way.
On a brighter note, the barista at Industrial Brews was excellent polite, professional and made a great coffee.
Overall, a reliable hotel with room for a few thoughtful improvements.
