Four Points by Sheraton Ljubljana Mons

Hotel conveniently located between the woods and the city, really convenient and the availability of charging stations and especially the Tesla Supercharger is very appreciated. The breakfast is generous and suited to all tastes and habits. The room in the new part is very clean and the pillows very soft.

A car is mandatory as the hotel is in the middle of nowhere. Housekeeping is not reliable. Buffet breakfast is tasty and good value. Parking is puzzling. Rooms are of a good size. Beds comfort is so so. A mixed experience

This is a lovely hotel which feels more like a full Sheraton than a Four Points. It's located on the outskirts of the city, which isn't ideal as far as walking to explore downtown or for dinner, BUT it means you do not have to drive into city traffic, you have a peaceful vibe with woods all around, and it is easy to drive out to Bled, or nearby caves and castles. To get into the city there is a twice daily shuttle for 4 euro per person, or a taxi runs 12 euro. You could also walk a bit to the bus stop and take a bus for less than 2 euro. The room was very comfortable and modern, and the staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. We will stay here again.

The 2020 Covid shutdown allowed the Sheraton to build a top notch new addition. Our platinum elite membership allowed us to get an executive suite and early check in. Knowing we were arriving early, I sent a message via chat so they were ready for us. Our room is spacious with contemporary cabinetry, a kitchen, separate living room and one and a half bathrooms. The room overlooks the forest and original building. Being new, everything is clean and fresh. ||Staff are wonderfully friendly, helpful, and professional. We used the shuttle to get back and forth from town. This was very helpful. Our driver was very conscientious to make sure we were getting picked up. He went above and beyond. Extra kudos to him. ||There’s a pool, sauna, and gym which we didn’t partake in but it looked inviting. We also didn’t partake in the restaurant or bar as we had eaten in town. ||This is a great place if you want to relax and want a break fom the downtown scene.

Lovely hotel. Tasty food from the restaurant. They do not offer room service, but we ordered our food for takeaway and carted it to the room ourselves. Had fish fillet, prawn bisque, truffle pasta, braised octopus, swordfish tartare, and a chicken filet dish. Room was very spacious for our family of four with 2 toilets and 1 shower. The room may have been a business suite or family suite. Hotel is about 10-15 minutes from the city center. We took the hotel shuttle and explored the city for a couple of hours. I recommend making reservations in advance for dinner and the shuttle. If you are in Ljubljana on a Friday, I recommend planning to check out Open Kitchen, which offers many street food vendors during sunny days from 10am-10pm. You can always take a taxi outside of the hotel shuttle hours. We also used the pool, which is more adult-oriented, but we enjoyed it with the kids nonetheless.

In the lobby, there is a stunning designer chandelier, stylish interior, and friendly staff. I really like it. In this hotel, there's also a lovely spa with a pool and massages. It seems like not all guests know about it because there's no one there. The massage therapist, Ms. Sonja, is a true professional!

Service: 5/5||Overall weighted score: 4.8 out of 5.0||Notes: While this hotel is not smack in the middle of all things touristy, it is only a ten-fifteen (depending on traffic) minute ride. ||Would we come back? Yes

The hotel is located around 10 minutes by car to city center, but with easy access to the highway as well and free parking.|The reception is modern and the front desk team very helpful.|We were kindly upgraded to a very modern room, carpet less, with very good space and nice forest view. Housekeeping was great, since they were able to accommodate our needs for curtains removal and deep cleaning due to our daughter being asthmatic.|The Gym is well equipped and the indoor pool is also very nice to enjoy.|Breakfast is also very nice, with plenty of different options to enjoy, not common at Four Points. Thanks for accommodating my gluten free needs and to have well addressed during our stay.|We felt welcomed and recognized for being a titanium member.|Thanks the whole team for the very good stay and special to Mrs. Anja Hribar that gave us a special attention.
