Truly the worst B&B I've ever stayed at, and falls well short of the standard expected at its price point. I stayed based on an online recommendation, location and parking. I found when I arrived that the whole street is lined with B&Bs and I would try every one of them before coming here again. ||The building is old (unavoidable, to be fair) but has all of the downsides and none of the charm. I stayed in an uncomfortably small double room (no space to put luggage without it being in the way, let alone open it). The room had a kettle but no other amenities. The bedding is old, thin, and starting to stain. The radiators only operated for a few number of hours each day, and the room had a draught from the window, meaning it got very cold (I visited in winter), especially overnight. The shower was awful, with a dribble of water and a long wait for anything warm. Thin walls mean you hear everything going on around you, inside the building and out. No shared space to relax (which honestly is not an expectation of mine, but when the room is as small and cold as it is, it would be good to have somewhere nicer to have a cup of tea). ||Great location, a 10 minute walk from the station and not much farther to Eyre Square. Five albeit tight parking spaces (good, but probably not enough when it's busy). But if this is where you're looking at staying, I strongly recommend having a look at the other properties on the street. This one was awful.
