I had a wonderful massage by Tina, just a basic 60 min footbody combo and she was very attentive, kind and had wonderful pressure and rhythm. I really appreciated her kind demeanor towards me and friendly attitude. There were no odors. The sheets were very clean! And the massage table was warm and comfy. She checked in with me repeatedly to make sure I was comfortable. The place looked pretty clean and really cute upon walking in as well. I enjoyed the ambience and atmosphere. The other lady at the front desk seemed a little bit less helpful. But I really liked Tina's vibe so I went for it. I don't ask for much. Price is reasonable for what you get. So that's why I give it a 10/10 stars for hospitality, and service a great experience is in the small details and a great attitude will take you far. Thank you! Will come again and will recommend to family and friends.

notice for Indians/Americans considering a massage here: DO NOT. She made sure I paid before the massage was even confirmed, that’s not unfounded but the alarm bells went off. After the massage was completed, I tipped her 20% per person (for me and my friend). She wasn’t happy with the round off and wanted to make sure it was 24%. She not only dint communicate in any English, but made a big deal that I hadn’t preemptively paid her 24% without ever asking for it clearly. Another lady came by, and she basically just said “she wants you to tip more, can you?”. Never a problem to tip more, but she dint ever inform me what was her request and just threw her hands until the other lady came by! About the massage: felt unsafe, unhygienic room conditions and not worth my $75 (with 24%tip) per person for 55mins. None of their Google photos are current or accurate, they falsely advertise Thai / Swedish massage as the masseuse only knew/did Chinese massage. Please BEWARE.

Tried to give this place another chance but most if not ALL therapists here are just not good. Go to Body Central which is a couple of blocks away on El Camino instead. They are much better. Idk why I even went here☹️

This is an all time great place for massage. The place is kept clean. It's private. The masseuses are regulars hence you get the type, style of you likely on a repeat basis.

Mimi is a great masseuse and always know where my problematic areas are. The only distraction is that you can hear the noise from the front desk and chatter with the other employees.

DO NOT COME HERE! Came here before for a massage and enjoyed it so I came back...BUT I WILL NEVER COME BACK AGAIN! The lady giving me a massage took forever to start then I caught her on her PHONE TWICE while giving me "a massage". She was basically just rubbing me with her fingers with no pressure at all. Then it took the manager 30 minutes to come talk to me and apologize I felt so violated and disrespected. I've never been to a spa where the masseuse had their PHONE OUT!!!

I do recommend this place they know what they're doing the massage is beyond incredible I go twice a week it's good for my metal health

After passing by this place, I decided to give it a try. When walking in, I noticed how unsanitary the floor was. Beyond this, their towels were filthy. I was most disgusted by their sexual offerings. I want a massage, NOT a happy ending. This place needs to be inspected. I think they try to offer their services to men and keep it on the down low. Please avoid this place.

Well. That was something. Was in the area and read the good reviews. Was hoping to just to get my full hour, was not expecting anything magical. I get into the room, notice I am being watched with a security camera. In comes a woman with a nice smile and begins to greet me. Begins to touch me all over before we even enter the room, messing with my hair, calling me cute etc... I got nervous really quickly and kinda just smiled and laughed it off. Enter the room and the massage tech asked if I wanted an hour or a half hour. For 60$ I took the hour. Now I may say there have been many many red flags but this is where it gets worse. In the first 15 minutes the masseuse leaves and comes back two or three times. I decided not to just get up and leave at that point well, they already took my cash, and I was trying to give them the BOD. After that the massages was actually nice ... The 20 minutes of the hour I payed for... That was intill the masseuse literally decided to violate me, asking if I wanted a happy ending with a finger on my rectum. I was so shocked I had no clue what to say. I tried to explain that I only wanted a massage and that I only got one 20 minutes ( I entered at 4 pm and left my 4:25pm) now I am shaken, feel taken advantage of and extremely outraged by this. I am not sure if I should go to the police or if I should contact the BAR. I've had an extremely hard time as of late and the one time I want to treat my self to some stress relief this is what I get...

Had a one hour deep tissue massage while waiting for my kids Jiujitsu class. It was wonderful and very reasonable. I'll be back here for sure!

I have been to this massage business more than 2 years. Even though their staffs have changed over time, it seems like they know how to employee the right therapist s. Never disappointed. But my favorites are Diana, Renee. Spot on techniques and I always feel like an new person afterward. I really hope the business will last, because this is my go to place for my bi weekly relaxation.

I called on a Sunday evening and last minute was able to book massage for 2. There is a Sunday special for ladies which is $40 for 60 min if you mention yelp and regular price is $50 for 60 min for men and any other times, they are open late until 9pm which is very convenient. I had Nicollet and she was great, the massage was strong, deep and thoroughra - neck, shoulders, lower back, butt, thighs, calves, feet and even hot stones. I am bit sore today but for that price and last minute booking this was just what I needed. I am very happy with service. The only thing that bothered me was that the was a wall clock that kept ticking and was ruining my relaxing mood.

Overall, great customer service and staff is always very friendly and wanting to help individual needs. Would recommend this place to all needing massages! Can't wait to get another! Yes

If you want to spent $50 dollar an hour plus tip for someone to touch your body. Then this is the place for you! My friend and I came here for massage and I felt that I wasted $50 dollars. I asked them to work on my shoulders and use their full strength if possible since I have a huge knot on my shoulder.... But then they end up stepping on my back and used their foot to massage my back.... At the end of the massage, I didn't feel any more relax at all and my muscles are still quite tense. The only good thing is that they were nice and offer you water after the massage. But if you ask me if I want to spent $50 for 1 hour massage here? Probably not, if I come here for a massage I want a real one. But this place doesn't give you a real full body massage

Great massages at a good price! Sometimes the combo massage area smells too much like food and can be chilly, but these drawbacks are worth putting up with!

I had a one hour massage and I can't complain it was relaxing. Paid $50 dollars for the massage and then tipped the lady. She had the fu$kin nerve to say she gets tipped 20 for one hour!!! That's 40% tip. I gave her more that 25% tip and she still complained. Horrible once and never again. When did people for get what a tip is.

This place was delightfully pleasant. I found this place from an Internet ad, promoting their 60-min massages for $50, which was pretty good compared to other similar massage studios in the area. Once inside I was quite impressed as it looked like a mini-Roman spa with the walls and doors all painted and decorated. It was a nice change compared to other massage places which are rather bland. Once in the massage room, the table was quite soft, and the sheets were very soft and smooth, so that was very comfortable. I was very sore from running during the week, so I asked my massage therapist Cindy to focus on my back and legs, which she did just so. That was great! No wasted time. This place is very close to my work place down the street, so I'll be glad to come back again. After leaving I finally checked into Yelp and Foursquare and then saw a $5 discount from my Yelp check-in. Oh well, I'll use that on my next visit, but the price is still great!

Came here for the first time today. I felt lucky that they had a space for me considering I called in today. :D My masseuse Jason was attentive and did a great job. I didn't point out my problematic areas because I always like to see if the masseuse can figure it out. That helps me to see how skilled and attentive they are. I was so satisfied with my session that I sent my husband within the hour to get one done too. I'll be back!

This review is for David who I've come in to see 3x already. He is amazing and doesn't leave any part of your body untouched. Come in and see him (especially on Sundays for ladies day, full body $40/hr). The walls are paper thin and the place is not up to date but it is the best bang for your buck with good quality massages (they even do complimentary hot stone/ hot towel).

CHEATERS !!!!! I went to my 6pm appt for a massage...i had advised the owner i had groupon when made the reservation... Upon my arrival, i handed her the print out of my groupon voucher...she looked at the amt paid it was $45. and she said her prices are higher and she requested more money (the difference of the higher price)...!!! I said i'm confused i purchased a groupon and it is for 1 hr massage.... she kept repeating that it cost more than $45. for 1 hr and i needed to pay the difference !! again, i told her i don't understand why i need to pay more.... so she showed me the price list....i told her that was not right what she was doing... so i took back my paper voucher from her, and walked out .... when i got home, i called groupon immediately, but groupon was closed after 5pm.... so i went on the groupon website to file complaint... and noticed she REEDEMED THE VOUCHER !!!! WHAT ?????? it showed redeemed....!!! i called her and told her i was going to report her....she did not give me any massage services why did she redeem the certificate ?...she hung up on me .... OMG...i don't believe this.....these people need to be reported...they do not deserve to taint groupon's name.... horrible horrible customer service...i am furious..!!!!!! how could they go on cheating people like this...i am going to report them to the BBB ..and 7 on your side.....!!!! how many others has this woman cheated ?... BEWARE people..if you paid for a groupon voucher....you deserve a 1 hr massage at the price you paid...NOT MORE !!! i am so mad/furious.....cheaters doing business need not be screwing people like this ! wasted my time driving there !!

My friend is a hipster who wears maroon pants and shops across the street at the vinyl record store. Vinyl Salutions was way too hip for me and had no AC so I headed across the street for a massage. After I was inside Vinyl Solutions for 3 minutes I already felt really upset by things such as gentrification and the tech industry, additionally I was craving some fair trade coffee. I knew I had to leave the muggy vinyl store before I would become full-fledged hipster d-bag. A quick look outside and I saw Four Seasons Day Spa. What a relief. This was actually one of the best massages I had ever gotten. Unlike the vinyl store there was no crappy music playing, the masseuse did not use gobs of massage oil and the shower was very nice. I originally told them I was only going to be in there for thirty minutes but this massage was too good and I ended up going for another thirty. The best part was that it was a full thirty minutes, they didn't put me in the room, wait 5 minutes for me to get undressed then 25 minutes later tell me my time was up. The masseuse actually massaged me for thirty minutes straight. Too bad I live pretty far away so it's unlikely I'll come back. However I'd like to pass this one onto you guys San Mateo/San Carlos Yelpers, this is a solid place for a massage.

We were in town for a wedding and wanted a simple foot massage. Tried going to Oceanic Foot Spa, but they were booked and kind of rude on the phone. Found this place based on reviews and we sure are happy we came here instead. Awesome massage for a great price! We had a couples massage in a quiet serene room. We opted for a 60 minute full body + foot massage for $50/person. It was amazing. They massaged my neck, back, shoulders, arms, and legs. Next, they bring in hot stones and give your back a good second rub. Then they wipe you down with warm towels and turn you over to do your front. That was about 40 minutes total. Last, they massage your feet for a good twenty minutes. Excellent customer service. Such a great value!

Ok, before I begin, the 4 stars is ONLY for my massage therapist, Lulu, who was great. I asked for a deep tissue massage, and she did a fantastic job. Pretty much everything else gets 1 star from me. I bought a Groupon for $50 for what was advertised as a $100 massage. I called to set up the appointment, and had a very hard time understanding the woman who answered the phone. Her English is not great, and I had to struggle to get through the conversation. Once we booked the time, I told her I prefer a female therapist. She tried to talk me into a male saying "try, maybe you like." I told her I'd rather wait until a day when a female was available, to which she replied "ok female." What? If a female was available I don't know why she would try to talk me into a male. I realize more people want females, but still it seemed weird. Parking on 25th street was easy, but it was very late in the afternoon. I've been to that area during lunch time and it's a lot harder. I went in and handed her my Groupon. She pointed to the posted price list, which showed a 1 hour massage for $50. I was a bit confused and she said "See? Same price!" I asked her why they were selling Groupons for their regular price she just smiled and said "Cheap!" Um, ok. I have to say I felt a little duped. Not cool. She took me into a room and said "You want male?" Here we go again....I said I reserved a female and again she tried to talk me into a male therapist saying the exact thing she'd said on the phone "try, maybe you like." I think she must say that a lot. My therapist was great. Nothing weird, no pain, just a nice deep massage. It's the only reason I'm giving this place 4 stars. I will not be back only because there are other places at the same price, and I really felt cheated by the whole Groupon ruse.

man.. I probably come here once a week. bye bye paycheck. I used to go for the foot massage - $25, GOOD ASS PRICE BTW and now I go mainly for the full body - $50 still a good ass price. I've had a few ladies and one guy in particular - Kite? who are really great, good pressure, use mostly their hands, and very relaxing. I've had two guys who weren't so great, use mostly elbows, no time on the face or head. When it comes to san mateo / foster city area, this is where I go. The woman who checks you in is always wonderful to deal with. always tip your peeps, $5 on $25 is ridiculous don't be cheap!

I think the name Four Seasons is very misleading. The ambience is dull and not very inviting. My service was about average. I probably will try somewhere else next time.

Strolling down 25th Ave. I found this Day Spa and walked in and inquired about the services they offer. The receptionist had a bit of a hard time understanding my questions as English was not her primary language but then another women came out and explained to me that the foot massage includes foot, head, neck and back. I thought wow, that sounds good especially for $30 an hour. I took their card and called a couple days later to make an appointment. I arrived early to my appointment, there didn't appear to be any other clients there at the time so they were able to take me early. I was brought upstairs to the area where they perform the foot massages. It was clean and comfortable. They soak your feet in hot water while they start with your head. She didn't ask me how the temperature of the water was for me, I would have told her it was a bit on the hot side. I always wear my hair up so that they don't get massage oil or lotion in my hair, so I was really irritated when without asking she pulled out my hairband, put lotion on her hands and smeared the lotion all over my face and in my hair, yuck! Then she started to comb out my hair over my head with her fingers which was pulling on my hair, ouch! She then started to push her fingers into my head, like a therapist would do on your back, it was a bit painful and the pressure started to give me a headache. Next was the neck, arms, hands, legs, feet and back. I personally didn't find it very relaxing. Prices are cheap, service was friendly but lacked technique, street can be difficult during prime times.

My friend recommended this place & booked us to get massages. I thought it was reasonably priced. I purchased the hot stone massage. The lady that massaged me only did 2 min. of hot stone in my 60 min. massage & concentrated mainly on my glutes, which I thought was weird. The walls were so thin I can hear someone snoring in the other room & I didn't have mood music in my room. This experience was definitely weird compared to others I have experienced. Probably won't go back to this place, even though my friend loves it. I felt like they were rushing to get it over with.

Holy cow this is just what I needed! I was about 15 minutes early for my appointment but the staff were very accomodating and took me before my appointment time. While my feet were soaking I enjoyed a face, head, and shoulder massage. The foot massage was heaven. Facilities are clean and atmosphere is relaxing. I had no problem communicating with the staff in English and felt they were friendly and professional!

Need to stick with Annaya down the street. This was the first massage I actually walked out of halfway. No refund which I'm ok with, but just warning others, it seemed shady inside. Very light, boring, and unproductive massage, with way too much oil. I guess I got what I deserved whenever places require you pay first etc and there's a fuzzy pink lamp inside and questionable towlels as sheets with "nautica" on them.

I visit this establishment at least 4 times a month and I have had nothing but positive experiences. The masseuses are professional and experienced. This is the only place I visit when I'm in need of a quality massage. Thanks Four Seasons Day Spa!

Good Chinese massage place, totally ripping off the "Four Seasons" name. Half the masseuses know what they are doing. Docked a star for insisting on us paying $10 tip each.

Excellent massage with gareat price. Yes, their English is limited but with this price and quality of massage, I dont care. My carpal tunnel was much better after massage and I did not have to take pain killer. I will go and get a massage every week there, becuase I can afford it :)

My 4 year old gives stronger massages...felt like she could put a little more elbow grease. The foot massage was like light petting. After I flipped over on my stomach and she did my back. It was a little stronger. Might give it one more chance, it was pretty clean and private.

Tina is the best! Her deep tissue Swedish massage is perfect for the miofascial muscles pain. And she is very nice. She totally knows what she is doing. I did many massages for this problem, but never had such a good result, like with her. Strongly recommend.

Horrible business owner and employees. After a decent enough massage, before even given the chance to tip our masseuses, the owner asked us if we could give them a tip. I found this a bit rude, but fair enough. We gave each lady 20% on top of the Groupon amount paid, which was about 11% of the original cost of the massage. At that point one of the masseuses took the money then looked at the other one and gave a very dissatisfied face as if to say WTF, you call this a tip? At that point I just turned around and walked out. But there are other reviews which I've read after where they have stopped the customer from leaving, and I believe those reviews. This ruined the experience of our massage and I would advise all decent people to stay away. It's a shake down when you pay, they huddle around you during payment and give you a lot of pressure. Definitely don't come here alone as a single women. Only ended up here because I accidentally purchased a groupon stupidly thinking this was for Four Seasons Hotel Spa. Even without any problems, no way is this a 5 star establishment. 3 at best, so don't believe those 5 stars.

This has become my go-to spa for a great Chinese foot massage! The service is always solid and the price is affordable. David is my fav. His pressure is spot on and I always leave feeling like jello...which is a very good thing. As a working mom, I cherish these 60 minutes like Susan Lucci values her daytime Emmy after 19 nominations.

I know some people who come here regularly and really like it. I do not agree. I came here for a 90 minute massage, clearly looking forward to it. Unfortunately, it did not live up to my expectation. I'm not new to luxury spas nor am I new to the other kind. Four Seasons is nowhere near luxury spa at all. The massage was PAINFUL and I love deep tissue, deep pressure Swedish, Shiatsu, and acupressure. I felt like the therapist, if you can call her that, was just lathering me up with oil and applying with so much force on someone she was mad at. She also left 3 times without any explanation. The worst 90-mins of my life.

Price was good at this place. It doesn't feel luxurious, but it's clean. The lighting was just right. There was light music too. The only thing that's imperfect is the sound proofing. When my appointment started, there was another session going on in the next room. It was a guy who's getting a massage. He moaned quite loudly. I supposed he was really enjoying the massage. It's become really quite after he finished. My massage was great. I felt completely relaxed. Too bad one hour was too short. The price was right. The massage was good. I didn't care about the little bit of noise. So it's five stars.

This review is for Diana. I'm a regular customer here and tonight was a first for me with Diana. My shoulder, and back is always tight and not many masseuses are strong enough to dig in there to loosen it up. Diana is strong, has great technique and a master with her hands and elbows. Instead just walking in like I usually do, I'm going to call ahead to make sure she's available.

Worst massage I've ever gotten. I'm not even sure where to start. I got a massage here recently and it started by them giving me a room off of the waiting room. This meant the women who was giving me my massage spent a very good chunk of my massage screaming through the door having conversation with the other women. I could also hear all of them have conversations. The real issue is that this woman had absolutely no idea what she was doing. It was the worst massage ever. She just kept slapping randomly and shaking body parts. The really uncomfortable part really came towards the end when she had me flip over. First she did my lower half and kept rubbing uncomfortably close to my lady parts, even going under my underwear. She also cupped my boobs and rubbed them. It was really weird and really uncomfortable. I've worked in the service industry half my life and am really passionate about tipping. I tip everyone all the time, regardless of service. This is the first time in my life I decided not to tip. When I was walking out, the woman yelled at me to stop and said, "TIP!" I implied that I wasn't sure what she was talking about and tried to walk out. She called over another employee to help confront me. I had to tell them I had no cash in order for them to let me leave, and even then, they made me very uncomfortable and kept telling me I had to tip. The photos shown are very untrue. They show lavish massage rooms. My massage room looked like a closed at a pay by the hour motel. I am not at all a snooty person and don't require extravagant settings for my massage, so that should speak to how bad this place was.

Terrible service! I would not recommend this place at all. I got a couples massage with my husband. My masseuse kept chatting with his. She was chewing gum rather loudly. She answered her phone that rang during the massage and had a conversation with someone. She disappeared for a good 5 mins more than once. All in all a complete waste of money.

If you don't care if it's real reflexology and just want to pay a very good price for someone to rub your feet with lotion, this is the perfect place for you. If you know your reflexology, stay away and save up for salon quality massage. As other reviewers have mentioned, staff being rude for our 18% tip added on top of the reasons why I would never come back. She expressed it loudly in Chinese to her boss in front of me, knowing that I understand. No thanks.

We have tried foot massage all over the world and as we are visiting family decided to try this new spa. First for the good. 1. Both foot massages for my wife and I were very good. I had David and my wife had Anna. The right pressure and both backed off when it became too intense. 2. Priced right. An hour for $35 3. Ambience was OK...I don't think you would want to see it in the daylight Now for the bad. 1. The lady on the front desk doesn't speak very good English. 2. She tries to upsell at every opportunity. We told her we wanted an hour foot massage. You try full body was her response. We only want foot massage. OK but you need to try the full body. 3. When we were seated she again tried the upsell to the full body again

Good clean place. The masseuse kept checking in with me to see if I'm comfortable or if I'm warm enough. They have 6 private rooms. Very nice staff! They have an upstairs lounge area where you can also get a foot massage! Will be back

Love the foot massages, my mom goes to the Four Seasons in Millbrae, this location is better for me. 25th Ave is a great street, easy to get to. I feel safe and comfortable. I have been to Spas like La Costa in San Diego, Pac Club in Redwood City, Rosewood in Palo Alto Etc. fancy yes. and most times, with people staring at me in my robe while waiting for the masseuse. I just want to get my FEET rubbed!! Simple, easy, clean, walk in, and get your feet done!! including arms, legs, face, back and shoulders!! with clothes on. Wear comfy loose clothes. I tell all my friends and they cannot believe the price, just told one of my clients and she said she could afford to bring her daughter's too! I go after wearing heels the night before, makes my feet feel so happy!!

I called and was able to get a massage in less than an hr After my horrific experience this am at Le Juin, I was pleased to finally find a good massage shop. Upon arrival, I was greeted promptly and politely. Unlike Le Juin, Four Season is clean, fresh and pretty. Everything Le Juin didnt have...at this point I was thinking maybe it was a good thing that woman didnt take me. Anyway, my massage lady was strong, polite and good at what she does. I had a two hr nd she was good the entire time. I enjoy my experience today at Four Season and plan on going back next month when I m in town again. :)

May not look like much from the outside, but once you go in, you will experience: No Waiting, Nice, clean, warm, comfy room. The girl I had was awesome! Constantly check-in to make sure pressure was good enough. She also got rid of the kinks/aches/pains in my neck/shoulders and low back! THANX to Groupon, I found this Gem! Very Reasonable too!

Came here today because my husband bought a certificate from Groupon. First they told him not to purchase Groupon because they usually have better deal. I thought that was nice of them to be honest but found it strange to say that. My masseuse Hylo (not sure of spelling) was very good! On my way out, I handed her a tip, then the receptionist and I don't know if she's the owner, talked to me and said that I should give a couple more dollars. Typically tip should be at Least $10. She said that people don't often know how to tip and they are not like restaurants. Their employee don't get paid much and just depend on tips! What the????? So unprofessional!!! Just for that, I'll will NEVER go back there again!!!

The outside does not look like much it inside was clean and the rooms heated. The best foot massage I had in a long time. I did the 20 min foot and 40 min body well worth it! I had Kytle-not sure of his spelling very strong. The Staff was friendly and nice. He worked out all of my knots.

A nice and clean venue with excellent service. It is worth a visit. In my case I was suffering from a badly-torn muscle. I went for treatment and they fixed the problem. Jenny is the wonderful lady! with an incredible knowledge of how to fix muscle problems. She should have been a chiropractor!
