We stayed at Four Seasons Hampshire for our honeymoon with our 7-month-old, and it was honestly the most perfect way to start married life as a little family. From the moment we arrived, everything just felt so warm, welcoming and special – the kind of place where you instantly relax and know you’re going to have a wonderful stay. Firstly, a huge thank you to Rhea and Heather at the front door. They greeted us so warmly every single time we came and went and were just genuinely lovely people. Those little welcomes and friendly chats made such a difference and made us feel so looked after throughout our stay. The hotel itself is absolutely stunning – the grounds are beautiful and it’s such a peaceful place to switch off, wander around and properly soak up the moment. It felt like the perfect balance of luxurious but also relaxed and family-friendly, which made it ideal for a honeymoon with a baby in tow! We also had such a fantastic experience at Wild Carrots. Leo looked after us so brilliantly and made the whole evening feel really special. Leo’s knowledge of the menu and ingredients is seriously impressive – the way he shared the stories and history behind the dishes was fascinating and made the meal feel like a real experience, not just dinner. It’s such a special skill and something the hotel should be incredibly proud of. Daisy at breakfast was equally wonderful – warm, attentive and just a joy to chat to. The whole team made our stay feel memorable, relaxed and genuinely joyful. Thank you for making our honeymoon so special – we already can’t wait to come back!

We recently had the pleasure of staying at Four Seasons Hotel Hampshire as a family, and it was truly exceptional from beginning to end. From the moment we arrived, we felt genuinely cared for. The level of attentiveness throughout our stay was remarkable — every detail was noticed, every need anticipated, and nothing ever felt overlooked. We were generously upgraded, and our room had been so thoughtfully prepared with everything we might need for our children — from a little step stool to children’s bath amenities and other considerate touches. It made us feel instantly at home. What stood out most to us was how warmly and thoughtfully the staff treated our children. In particular, one of the doormen, Man, was incredibly kind to our daughter throughout our stay. His warmth, patience, and genuine attention to her did not go unnoticed and truly touched us as parents. It is small gestures like these that elevate a stay from wonderful to unforgettable. The atmosphere strikes that rare balance of refined luxury and relaxed warmth. It is elegant without feeling formal, and family-friendly without compromising on sophistication. Every interaction felt personal and sincere. It is rare to find a hotel where service feels so intuitive and effortless. We left feeling restored, grateful, and already looking forward to returning. An unforgettable stay in every way.

Stayed in Feb 2026 and had the most brilliant time. It is such a beautiful, special place and we felt so looked after. Our suite was breathtaking. The food is outstanding and the service really next level. Every single member of staff that we interacted with was utterly charming, it was true heartfelt hospitality. We came with a baby and they couldn’t have been more child-friendly.

We have stayed at Four Seasons Hampshire on numerous occasions—with our last two stays being truly outstanding. The hotel itself is stunning, but what truly sets it apart is the exceptional level of service.||A special mention must go to the manager, Stephanie, who has consistently gone above and beyond for our family. She is a pleasure to deal with and always makes us feel genuinely welcomed and valued. Her attention to detail, warmth, and professionalism have made a real difference, ensuring our stays were incredibly memorable for both our children and ourselves.||The praise certainly doesn’t stop with Stephanie. The entire team, from front of house to the restaurant staff, have been exceptional. Everyone is friendly, attentive, and genuinely eager to help, creating a relaxed yet impeccably run environment. Dining is always a pleasure, with the restaurant team delivering service that is attentive and welcoming.||Four Seasons Hampshire continues to exceed our expectations, and it is the people who truly make this hotel so special. I would like to express my appreciation for the outstanding service provided by a lovely Portuguese staff member at the Four Seasons Hampshire Felipa where she has been working for the past three years. She is exceptionally polite, kind, and truly dedicated to making guests feel welcome. Her friendly attitude and willingness to help made a noticeable difference during our stay. She took the time to explain not only the hotel facilities but also the history and charm of the area. Her fluency in both Portuguese and English is remarkable and very helpful, especially for guests who may need assistance in their own language. She also gave us great recommendations for nearby places to visit, making our experience even more memorable. Her professionalism, warmth, and genuine enthusiasm for helping others reflect the high standards of the Four Seasons brand.

We stayed for 1-night in early January for a post-Christmas break in a mews deluxe room which was spacious and beautifully furnished; a very relaxing space. The biscuits for our daughter to decorate and homemade scones waiting for us in the room were a lovely arrival treat. As with other FS hotels, the staff are fantastic. We were made to feel very welcome and service was incredibly high. Our daughter loved the pony trekking & meeting all the horses. The staff at the stables were brilliant. The hotel grounds are beautiful and we had a lovely morning stroll around the estate and to the canal. If we’d had longer (& it wasn’t torrential rain!) we would have taken advantage of the lovely canal side walks to one of the local pubs or borrowed the hotel bikes. We visited the pool several times during our stay but didn’t use the spa on this occasion. We dined at Wild Carrot where there was an extensive menu and good kids menu. Service was a little hit and miss during dinner (long waits between courses) but it was very busy Saturday night with lots of large family parties. As others have highlighted, the wine list seemed very overpriced. Whereas pre-dinner cocktails in the bar were splendid. Breakfast was delicious with a huge range of buffet and à la carte options. Overall, we had a wonderful stay. The hotel perfectly strikes the balance between offering luxury and quiet relaxation along with plenty of activities & space for families. We will definitely return.

We decided to visit here for our wedding anniversary with our daughter we booked via amex and a benefit was that you were supposed to get an upgrade but because we were in the highest room category we weren't able to, The check in process was smooth and the reception staff welcoming. The room was a good size with great amenities and the bed comfortable. There was a great time table on for the children as it was half term and included a treasure hunt and disco also a petting zoo. We did the pony grooming which was great and my daughter loved it. Its a great offer that kid go free to eat however one day we were charged and it was because the waitress had seen me take a bite of my daughters food this was soon resolved but I was treated like a criminal ! However the kids buffet in the restaurant was great and we had two great meals .The pool facilities were good for children we didn't use the spa but it looked nice. We had a bit of a disappointing end to the trip as my daughter was taken poorly in the night , the night reception weren't helpful at all. We had to leave at 1am I asked them to ensure my massage was cancelled the next day that I had booked and this wasn't done and I had a call from the spa asking where I was. I would of also expected a follow up call from the duty manager to see if everything was ok as we had checked out early or even to see if my daughter was ok but we heard nothing its not the service we expect from the four seasons. I even filled out a survey and commented but never heard back my daughter was especially upset as she never got the treasure from the completed passport book. The grounds were stunning even in the rain but am hesitant to return as the service wasn't the standard we have experienced in other four seasons

Just finished a festive weekend break at FS Hampshire and miss it already! It feels magical with all the Christmas trees and lights at this time of year and was decorated beautifully and creatively. We got married there four years ago where we had the best wedding team and returned for our anniversary and were again not disappointed by their service. We were delighted that we even received a surprise room upgrade!! Truly a home away from home experience! Service impeccable as always, personalised, attentive and all staff make you feel incredibly special even with over 100 rooms of guests to service! From helping you with bags, knowing your child’s name, to the small things like offering you water for your car journey home. When there was no water in the hotel for about 30 mins due to some works nearby, that evening they then provided about 6 extra bottles of water at turn down service even without having to ask..It’s the small things that matter and make the FS Hampshire stand out from other five star hotels. The staff are all so friendly and warm and make you feel part of the FS family!! The food at the hotel is exquisite from the pizzas at the Italian to wild carrot and buffet breakfast! Yes it is on the pricey side but it’s worth it for a treat and worth every penny! It’s super kid friendly from the kids club, to collecting stamps in the hotel and a surprise gift at the end! Other things included The shark pool, kids bath robes and Christmas cookies, and also kids under age 5 eat free in the wild carrot!! Didn’t get to try the other activities as it was a bit wet but can’t wait to come again! Thank you thank you to the whole team at FS, from front of door staff to the staff behind the scenes, for making our anniversary weekend so special we can’t wait to come back! Xx

I came here by myself for 3 nights, I have been to London so many times so thought I would try something new. I never left the property. I checked in and slept for a bit, coming in from Los Angeles I had a touch of jet lag. I went down to the bar for dinner and the staff was impeccable, they were all so friendly and attentive. I had a burger and a couple cocktails. Breakfast same impeccable service and so many options, my fave was the avo toast. Everyday I would walk around the property l, visit the stables, and enjoy the brisk air. I utilized the spa facilities, the pool and gym. I had room service as well and tea in the living room. Everything and everyone was first class. I never left for 3 days and by the end my mind was clear and I felt so rejuvenated. This property bring a special kind of peace. Def will be back.

Went back again with my family 6 years later. This place is heaven on earth. Even better than before with the new renovations.

Wowwowowwowow. What a stunning, unique place. I've stayed in many hotels, but this experience was so unique. If you aren't familiar, Hampshire is essentially the "English countryside." Perfect for families to getaway for the weekend and ride horses, enjoy nature, etc. This hotel was about an hour-long cab ride from Heathrow and definitely felt like I was in the middle of nowhere. But when I woke up and walked the grounds in the morning, that isolation and clean air was so beautiful and refreshing. I went to high tea by myself. Yep, made a reservation for one. And it was worth every penny.

What an amazing experience. Located about 45 minutes from London Heathrow Airport in the English Countryside, this remote property is a dream location. Completely silent at night, this is the place to come get away and forget about all of the hustle and bustle of the city. I was able to enjoy the solitude of this property for a few days, and then quickly get to the city to enjoy what the city of London had to offer. The service was impeccable from the front desk to the hotel restaurant, and everywhere in between. I walked the grounds and was impressed with how quaint every area felt even though the property sat on many acres. After spending a week onsite I do, however, wish there was maybe one more restaurant option as I grew tired of eating the Wild Carrot by the end of the week. I hope to have the chance to return and enjoy again!

Absolutely fantastic!!! There's not much I can say but: We could spend every vacation at this place. In addition, if you've kids and like high end hotels: This is it for you. It's almost as they take better care of kids than the adults. We've a 9 months old and our room had everything we needed for him plus items that made us speechless (diaper genie, free toys, etc. ). They've kids menus (for free) with great and freshly made items, a kid's buffet, and kids are simply welcome everywhere (adult only time at the pool: between 10-11 am and after 7pm). That said: I'd definitely go there without kids as well -- it's not that the place is overrun by kids but it simply is a comfortable environment for families and it certainly didn't make the experience a noisy one. So... great for couples, single people... just everyone. Spa is great. Food is great. Breakfast is nice. And the property simply is absolutely gorgeous. They've valet parking or self park. Another highlight was tea time (reserve ahead of time). Delicious. Reasonable. And great choices. All staff members were fantastic, very likable, approachable and they all enjoyed being there it felt like -- and here's a special shout-out to James (Asst Mgr of the Library Bar) who by himself is a reason for us to go back.

This property is unique. A manor once used as a girls school filled with antiques and lush with flowers both inside and in the extensive gardens. Very child friendly... allowing them their own play areas and cottage with games. The service was outstanding, a special thanks to front desk manager Marek Abraham for going out of his way to find the book I had seen in the library, then gifting it to me, I love it. Also, food is varied and chefs are sensitive for those with allergies. Special thanks to George for obtaining the recipe for the gluten free raspberry muffins!!! Our breakfasts were spent surrounded by the greenery and flowers and can't recommend the buffet more highly for beauty and delicious variety. Why then four stars? The King of Bahrain decided to visit during our stay... between his security everywhere, parking his copter in front of the hotel, and taking over areas like the library and the ENTIRE dining room our last night, his presence made this sizable property feel congested. No offense to him, but I'm an American, and on my last night there, instead of having a quiet romantic dinner in the dining room, my husband and I endured a loud, unpleasant dinner in the bar area, which, unsurprisingly was filled with people drinking and laughing and smoking. I usually wouldn't mind the drinking and the laughing, but my dinner was ruined by the smoke. To be fair, the manager did ask several times for them to stop smoking in the sitting area and bar... however, a note to this Four Seasons, even a king needs to be told "no" sometimes if it conflicts with the needs and comfort of other paying guests. Two solutions for your hotel, private room for royal parties, or two restaurants for dining at night. Simpler fix would have been to simply tell us we would not be able to dine in your restaurant when we made the reservation! We'd have driven to London, it was after all, the night of our anniversary celebration and the reason we visited your lovely property! Would I return? Absolutely. Our lackluster end did not spoil the exquisite beauty experienced at this location.

I would be willing to bet that if I grabbed the concierge, pulled him aside, and quietly asked him to kill someone for me, before saying "no," he'd think about it for a few minutes. That's the level of service I'm talking about here. Above and beyond. Oh, and speaking of killing someone, they offer clay pigeon shooting on the property. Reload.

This is among the most beautiful places you can imagine staying. The rooms are truly first class, the staff are refined and professional, and the grounds are exactly what you'd like to imagine in terms of an English countryside getaway. 5 stars for every aspect of this fantastic experience. NPD

Beautiful grounds, wonderful setting. The building is an old school/college and I believe it actually served another purpose as well. We visited just as Spring was springing and I imagine it's even more wonderful in May. Service is impeccable and friendly. There are many activities, including horseback riding and skeet shooting. (we did both) The old man assisting us with the shooting was so personable and helpful. Dinner in the bar was just right, and the bar service is fantastic. I had a gin martini one day that was among the best I've ever had. The second day wasn't quite perfect, it was a different bartender. He didn't work the lemon peel around the glass, I think he was rushed. They even let us borrow a couple coats for 2 days, because the weather was colder than we expected. Marvelous!

We stayed overnight and loved it. I really liked the Spa, the ladies only section is incredibly beautful and expansive. I first thought calling a sauna and steam bath "heat experiences" was a bit grand, but they are huge and lush. Plus there is a relaxation area upstairs with lovely beds, music and so on. They offer complimentary refreshments almost everywhere (breakfast in the morning, dried cranberries and tea in the relaxation areas, fruit and gatorade in the fitness room). There is also a Starbucks onsite (yay!) Would you like wellies or a bike to explore the grounds? Not a problem, and it's all complimentary! I personally recommend to book a rate without breakfast and then order a la carte to your room. The banana pancakes can feed a family and the berry plate was amazing, too. The only minuses: you absolutely need a car to get there. The vitality pool is the same as the swimming pool so it's not that warm. And the nearest ladies restroom from the fitness center is some 5 minutes away which can be annoying.

Superb hotel, by far one of the most awesome places I've stayed. Went here for a one night treat on the first night back from honeymoon just to extend things for another day when we got back to the UK. I'm as happy in a travelodge as most hotels, however even the least pretentious person on the planet would have to admit the suite, food, surroundings were all pretty amazing. It certainly cost a fair bit more than a Travelodge but it was a once in a lifetime one for me and my wife and we really enjoyed every expensive second we spent there. Greeted with a chilled bottle of champagne on ice and strawberries cream, all a bit posh but not going to complain the restaurant was very slick although lacked a little atmosphere. The food was brilliant and the lamb I had was reared on the hotel estate which was a nice touch.

Fantastic hotel in Hampshire. Beautiful place with really superb service. Typically British luxury country hotel with a contemporary twist. Large rooms with views over the countryside, it's green all around really and in the middle of nowhere just an hour from London. A great place for a luxury break - I went there for a business event but would love to come back to enjoy a weekend break. It would be a nice treat

What a beautiful hotel. Lovely hotel in amazing grounds. Attention to detail is amazing. I recently had a spa day here and was really impressed about everything from the staff to the location to the ambience . You are certainly made to feel important and special when you walk into this hotel. The spa area was amazing with a beautiful pool and great treatments on offer. Everything could be tailored to requirements. The food at lunchtime was lovely but light. Freshly cooked fair was on offer and although was expensive was in my opinion justified

Absolutely beautiful grounds. The spa and gym facility are amazing. Classes taught by great instructors, bikes available, horses, pool, sauna.... This place has it all! Our room is so plush and cozy I can hardly contain myself! Cant wait to come back. Its so easily accessible from london. Only took 90 miutes to get here from waterloo. Love it!!!
