"With the opening of the 61-story One Dalton, Boston joined New York City, San Francisco, Miami, and Beverly Hills as the fifth U.S. city with two Four Seasons hotels (the older property is located a stone's throw away on Boylston Street). In addition to 215 hotel rooms and suites, One Dalton also houses 160 private residences, a spa and pool, and two restaurants: One + One for upscale American food with a New England bent, plus Zuma—the 12th location worldwide for the contemporary izakaya chain, and a destination in itself. Newbury and Boylston streets' ample shopping and dining are within a five-minute walk. And some of the city’s largest cultural destinations—the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston Symphony Hall, and the Boston Public Library—are also well within walking distance." - Shannon McMahon, Todd Plummer

"Give us an establishing shot. What will we first notice here? The street for which Four Seasons One Dalton is named is only a couple of blocks long and has only a couple of buildings, so you couldn’t miss the brand-new property if you wanted to—even if it weren’t the third-tallest building in Boston. The glassy skyscraper juts upward from an area that’s persistently under construction—attached residences are still being completed—yet the lobby, with floor-to-ceiling windows, is serene. A mosaic by Duke Riley covers every inch of space behind the mahogany check-in desk; the swirls of browns and tans are meant to evoke the Great Molasses Flood, which ravaged Boston’s North End in 1919. Just around a curved hallway are three colorful displays of books wrapped in African textiles by the British-Nigerian artist Yinka Shonibare, each presiding over a cluster of seating. Is there an interesting backstory here? The 724-foot-high, 61-story One Dalton was designed by architect Henry Cobb, the architect behind Boston’s seminal John Hancock Tower (now called 200 Clarendon Street). With the property's May 2019 opening, Boston joined New York City, San Francisco, Miami, and Beverly Hills as the fifth city with two Four Seasons (the older Boston Four Seasons is located on Boston's Boylston Street). In addition to 215 hotel rooms and suites designed by Bill Rooney, who also did Boston’s Liberty Hotel, Four Seasons One Dalton will house 160 private residences. Tell us about your room. What type was it? How did it look, and what was it like to be there? Configured as a living room and ensuite bedroom conjoined by a central dressing area, our Executive One Bedroom Suite carried many of the design details found throughout the lobby and public spaces: a neutral palette of grays and browns, mahogany furniture with polished nickel accents, and fabrics that call to mind men’s suiting, from the wallpaper to the carpets. The bathroom, basically a block of marble, featured a freestanding MTI tub, a TV built into the lighted vanity mirror, and a separate shower stall stocked with Maison Margiela toiletries. Solo travelers (or those without modesty hang-ups) can slide open the doors that connect the bathroom to the dressing area and bedroom to create an even larger, flow-through space. The lighting panels were well placed and easy to use, and floor-to-ceiling glass windows offered the full range of Boston highlights: a tree-lined street with tidy brick townhouses, the Italian Renaissance–style dome of the Christian Science church complex, a straight-on shot into the brand-new 30 Dalton apartment building, and, in the distance, the Green Monster of Fenway Park. Is there a charge for Wi-fi – and is the quality good? The free Wi-fi works perfectly. What's on for food and drinks here? Would you eat here if you weren't staying here? One + One, which does upscale American food with a New England bent, probably isn’t a draw in itself, although one glance at the besuited 8 a.m. crowd and it’s clear the restaurant is already a power-breakfast hot-spot. Zuma, on the other hand—the 12th location worldwide for the contemporary izakaya chain, which was founded in London in 2002—is a real destination. It’s loud and clubby, with women posing for selfies in tight dresses and spiked heels, but the food is great and the service is convivial. The vast menu, which includes sushi and sashimi, various skewers, snacks, tempura, and cooked mains, might feel daunting, but you can’t go wrong with the duo of salmon and tuna tartare (dramatically presented and accompanied by crackers and a metal spatula for DIY spreading) and the miso-marinated cod. And Trifecta, an elegant ground-floor lobby bar specializing in mixology, is a fantastic place for a nightcap. Did anything stand out about the service? Staffers are mannerly and buttoned-up; you’ll never hear your first name, even if you insist on being called by it. But perhaps because the hotel is still so new—or perhaps just because it's "Boston,” as several local friends and family members have insisted, referencing the city’s somewhat gruff, blunt culture—service at times felt transactional and a bit ungenerous. Those looking for rarefied, seamless hospitality will certainly be disappointed—if not wholly baffled—to be quoted a $10 “runner’s fee” for emergency toiletries (say, contact lens solution) not kept onsite, or to be told—direct quote—“I’ll have to get back to you” in response to a request that the suite be serviced at a specific time. Our best encounters occurred when staff went off-script, whether it was Angel, one of the bellhops, who tickled our kid to the point of belly-laughs; the whole team of servers at Zuma, which made this somewhat self-conscious solo diner feel welcome and well cared for; or Olivia, in the concierge department, who advance-emailed a floor-by-floor breakdown of the infant- and toddler-friendly spaces at the Boston Children’s Museum. Who are your fellow hotel guests? Jet-setting Four Seasons loyalists with Bentley SUVs, Gucci T-shirts, and Louis Vuitton luggage; guys in suits making deals over eggs and fresh-pressed juice; solo business travelers catching some shuteye before their morning meeting around the corner; sexily clad 20-somethings posing for Instagram photos outside Zuma; and wealthy parents taking their high schoolers to visit Harvard and Tufts. What else is in the neighborhood? Is this a place you'd want to hang out? The new Four Seasons is in the middle of Back Bay, an enormous tourism hub (and Boston’s convention-center epicenter). It’s directly across the street from a Hilton and Sheraton (and, thankfully, a Flour Bakery), just around the corner from a Mandarin Oriental, and about a mile from a cluster of ultra-top-tier luxury hotels near Boston Common; specifically, Taj, The Ritz-Carlton, and its sibling Four Season. Newbury and Boylston streets, both within a five-minute walk, have ample shopping and dining. And some of the city’s largest cultural destinations—the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston Symphony Hall, and the Boston Public Library—are also within reach. Is there anything you'd change? The service needs work and the lobby could loosen its tie a bit; much like the lobby in an upscale condo building, it’s a space you would pass through but not necessarily settle into. Anything we missed worthy of a call-out? Four Seasons as a brand is famously family-friendly, and here that means various things: kid-size robes (which, along with other extras, you can request via an in-room iPad), baby bath toiletries, an in-room teepee with its own down comforter, books and toys, furniture edged with foam baby-proofing tape, and a Playtex Diaper Genie. The latter two are nearly unheard of, but the cherry on top was our one-year-old son’s name spelled out in letter decals inside the tub. Meanwhile, The Wellness Floor at One Dalton includes a spa with five treatment rooms, each with a name that might otherwise be neon Instagram signage in a trendy juice shop (“Be Here Now,” “Wake Your Dreams”). But no matter; the services (particularly the customizable deep-tissue massage) are great; the products are from ultra-deluxe brands like 111Skin; and a user-friendly iPad check-in allows you to choose among several types of background music, including “Symphony.” On the other side of the floor, past a massive, tiled cherry-blossom mosaic, is a 64-foot-long heated indoor lap pool; the bathroom is thoughtfully stocked with a Suitmate Swimsuit Water Extractor (not to mention excellent Oribe hair products). Bottom line: Worth it? Luxury seekers and Four Seasons fans will flock to One Dalton without even questioning it. Half-unpack in one of the large, well-laid-out rooms, kick back with a Suntory whisky Old Fashioned at the city’s dining destination du jour, and nurse the hangover the next day, fresh juice in-hand, at the pool and spa. If you’re looking for a deluxe urban stay and an upscale Boston home base—rather than a fully transportive escape—you won’t be disappointed." - Sarah Firshein, Todd Plummer

I would like to start my review by saying that my over all stay was great but there was a major incident that ruined the whole stay. Overall the hotel, food, service, and stay were of Four Season standard, the pinnacle of luxury and comfort. Where things took a terrible turn: Upon check in I confirmed a late check out for three PM as I was only staying for one night. I emphasize CONFIRMED. At noon the next day, I have the do not disturb sign on and without even knocking and asking to come in a staff member just opens the door while I'm in bed and asks me why I haven't checked out. In a daze and not in appropriate attire to step out I ask him to wait out side and either he didn't hear me or chose to ignore me and keeps yelling I need to leave. When I finally get through to him and tell him I have a confirmed check out for three PM he steps out and says if he needs to get a hold of me he'll call. One of the most unprofessional staff members I've ever met in my life at any hotel. Upon check out I met with a hospitality lead and while apologizing she only removed a room service charge. A situation as severe as belligerence, rudeness, and breaking of protocol (entering without seeking permission when the do not disturb sign is on) should have been handled better than this. I know they are better, and should know and do better but unfortunately fell drastically short this time.

I was treated to a Birthday dinner at ZUMA by my lovely husband, and it was such a wonderful experience! Our server was just lovely, the food was exquisite, and the place felt so intimate but lively! They knew it was my Birthday and brought champagne to the table and finished the night with a delicious desert. It was a happy night indeed!

The hotel is relatively new and is very well maintained. We have stayed in One Dalton since its very first month of operation. If you like modern interiors, service with a smile, clean gorgeous rooms and the most helpful doormen you are in the right place! Fitness and pool are great and spa which I have used in previous visits is fantastic. Rooms vary in views but I think the room categories are quite well described. I wish FS somehow will finally have a loyalty program to acknowledge repeat guests.

Google
This Four Seasons is absolutely amazing! Staff and quality of service from arrival to departure were outstanding. I used the concierge ahead of our arrival to plan activities, tour guide, transportation and dinners. Every detail was perfectly planned. We used in-room dining for breakfast and late night snacks. Our food arrived promptly and was delivered with a smile. Overall, the staff is exceptionally personable, efficient and attentive to every detail.

We just returned from a 3 night stay at The Four Seasons One Dalton for the Boston Marathon. Everything was perfection from start to finish. The staff at this hotel are absolutely incredible and go above and beyond to make your stay special and anticipate and take care of your every need. They had a special delivery for me on the day of the marathon and even surprised my wife with a birthday cake for her birthday the next day. This is a true 5 star hotel with 5 star service. We can't wait to come back very soon!

We just returned from a 5 day stay to celebrate the 40th year of our marriage and my wife's birthday was during our stay. We have never stayed in such a high end hotel before but everything was well worth it and we now have a life time memory. The hotel is very new and the rooms have many modern features you can see on the website. Most impressive was the staff, every one of them treated us like British Royalty. My wife used the Spa for a massage, Tyler was great. We hope our life situation allows us to return next year.

Google
Efficient and very pleasant hotel. Bathroom amenities are a little sparse.... no bar soap, no ear buds, towels are not particularly generous nor fluffy..otherwise probably the nicest Boston hotel.|Would return but need the bathroom to be more complete in supplies.

Google
To keep this review brief since the issue has already been dealt with it seems — My team was in Los Angeles when we booked the presidential room for the night at a cost of around $9,500, a significant cost for a fairly standard room. We paid the full deposit that morning. On landing in Boston I opened my email and discovered that our stay was canceled by “hotel manager” Kassi Weist. She sent a single email informing of cancellation only a couple of hours before we were checking in and while I was still on the plane. I went to the hotel regardless, was told off by “Shane Montgomery” at the front desk, not offered any kind of room (even the most basic room would’ve been nice), and in the end I had to spend 2-3 hours in the middle of the night finding new accommodations for our team in a sold out town. Very disappointing experience. I returned the next day to speak with management and “Kassi Weist” didn’t come greet me or come and talk to me at all about the previous nights issues. Instead, she sent “Shane Montgomery” to speak lies to me. The one golden thing about this property was the amazing concierge who I forgot the name who helped me check in and who I think really embraced the Four Seasons brand ethos very clearly.

Yelp
The location is great for me since I love this neighborhood and great shopping. It's my second visit here. I like it that there's no surprises and I know what to expect. The team here is incredible and always makes our experience very special. I'm here for a week now... I can't wait to schedule my next trip back! Having Zuma as the on-site restaurant is also a definite plus. It's one of our favorites!!

Yelp
Stupendous -- afternoon tea was the highlight of our weekend. Extremely tasty mignardises and outstanding savory treats. The staff was mindful of a pescatarian diet and truly accommodating. The strawberry rhubarb pie tea with amaro was divine, and the baby lobster rolls and foie gras profiterole with pickled strawberries were perfect. Especially sweet and unexpected was the slice of birthday cake that the staff surprised us with! Sole regret is that we couldn't finish the slice together or take it with us -- it was honestly some of the best buttercream I've ever had. Truly touching attention to detail and so utterly kind. The Four Seasons never disappoints!

Yelp
Let me tell you, the spa at Four Seasons is an absolute gem! From the moment you step in, you're greeted with warmth and hospitality that sets the tone for the entire experience. The breathtaking views, the tranquil steam room, and the luxurious pool make you feel like you've stepped into a heavenly oasis. And let's not forget about the chocolate snack bar - it's like a Willy Wonka spa, indulging your senses with divine chocolate bonbons! But the real highlight? The massage. Oh my goodness, it was pure bliss! Shoutout to Michael, the incredible massage therapist, who not only worked wonders on my muscles but also started our session with the mantra 'All is Well,' setting the perfect tone for relaxation and reflection. As someone who's juggled years of building a business, navigating single motherhood, and being an immigrant, this experience was exactly what I needed. It taught me that it's okay when things aren't perfect - we learn, pivot, and evolve. I opted for the hot stone massage add-on, and let me tell you, it was phenomenal. Mike focused on my shoulders and lower back with just the right amount of pressure, addressing all my tension and knots. It was pure bliss from start to finish. Mike truly has a gift for his craft, and I left feeling rejuvenated, refreshed, and ready to take on the world.

Yelp
Stellar experience! My sister and I visited the Four Seasons for a spa date and we were able to squeeze in a tea experience since someone canceled their reservation at the last minute. Starting with the spa, we both enjoyed our massages and time in the warm pool. From the bubbly to the mini chocolates to the views of the city, it was quite a relaxing afternoon. For our tea experience, we trusted our server Evan with helping us make the best choices and he didn't disappoint. As someone with a gluten allergy, I was so happy to have sandwiches and bites that were gluten free but also tasty. Many times the gluten free options are flavorless and lack the variety of the main menu. We plan to visit the Four Seasons every year!

Yelp
What a wonderful stay we had. Our room was spacious and clean with a wonderful view of the city. The porter who brought our luggage to the room was thoughtful in where he placed our luggage to give us extra space. Housekeeping was super attentive to detail and left me with extras that they saw fit my needs and likes, and even folded our clothes! The pool was great and the we took advantage of the steam room, which was so nice after our swim. Finally, the concierge was also very gracious in helping us with dinner reservations and accommodating our needs. Would love to come back.

Yelp
Impression: 1- Brand new FS, opened late 2019, I was one of the first to try it. 2- Very quiet and modern rooms. 3- Excellence in Service. 4- Location is great. 5- Third tallest building in Boston. Plan: Stay here twice a year. I liked it better than the original FS. Order the cheese board in the lounge. Upgrade room if you can, totally worth it. Sometimes they have stay 3 nights and the third is on them. 5 solid stars. One of the best hotels in Boston.

Jason K.

Yelp
Can't talk more highly of this.place....has everything you need (other than google.chromecast). Coffee, mini bar xfinity on demand was nice. Wifi is fast. Staff is top shelf...view is spectacular. A very well run business....Tip of the hat to the GM or the person under the GM that makes this place run (that's usually how it goes...just guessing). Cheers !

Yelp
This winter wonderland is a hidden gem in Boston. Don't walk, run to the Four Seasons Hotel lobby bar. During the holidays it was decorated to the nines and looks immaculate. The hostess was cordial and checked my coat into the complimentary coat check. When we arrived we were seated and greeted with candied nuts. You must try the fabulous cocktail menu and grab a festive charcuterie board. This was the perfect spot to catch up with some of my girlfriends and embrace the holiday season!

Yelp
My new favorite brunch in Boston. The lobster omelette has ruined all other omelettes for me. Packed with lobster and the most fluffy, soft eggs I've ever had in an omelette. I am still thinking about it. Skip the brunch buffet that you can add on to your entrees - it was nice but not the star of the show.

Yelp
My family and I had the pleasure of experiencing both locations in the city, and each had its own unique charm. However, I must admit that I had a particular fondness for the park location. The suites there were incredibly spacious, providing us with ample room to relax and unwind. Not to mention, the unbeatable location made it incredibly convenient for us to explore the city's vibrant offerings. On the other hand, the new building exuded a sleek modernity that was hard to resist. Its clean lines and contemporary design elements were truly captivating. The modern pool was a standout feature, offering a refreshing oasis amidst the bustling cityscape. It was a delight to indulge in small laps, enjoying moments of tranquility even when alone. Interestingly, the hotel occupied only the first 20 floors of the building, while the top floors were reserved for private residential apartments. This arrangement added an air of exclusivity to our stay, making us feel like we were part of something truly special. One of the highlights of our stay was the suite we reserved, which boasted a beautiful tub overlooking the city. It was a wonderful spot to soak and unwind, while being treated to breathtaking views. My family and I thoroughly enjoyed this luxurious amenity, creating cherished memories during our stay. Overall, our experience was nothing short of exceptional. The combination of spacious suites, unbeatable location, sleek modern aesthetics, and the delightful tub made our stay truly unforgettable.

Yelp
After a long day of travelling I arrived tired and grumpy. From the moment I arrived, the staff made me feel welcome and warm. The room was immaculately clean and fresh. The soaps and shampoos have an invigorating and refreshing scent. The bed and pillows luxurious. What more could a weary traveller want? Well their food was on point. Clam chowder delicious! Fresh seafood and other tasty offers (too many!) were consumed - all excellent. What a great experience. Extra shout out to the front desk! Thank you!

Yelp
This is a review of high tea service. The service is done out of Trifecta. It is bar of the lobby area. Service is from 11 AM to 3 PM on weekends. The service includes sandwiches, scones, small cakes. The tea is provided by local J'enway Tea Co. For an up charge you can pair your tea with a shot. I highly recommend this. It is $49 per person not including the additions. The staff is very friendly and helpful.

Yelp
We went on for a breakfast buffet on a Sunday morning. For $ 49 I must say you get your money's worth. They had bacon, smoked salmon, scrambled eggs, yogurt, some fruits and some pastries. Drinks such as coffee and juice aren't included in the buffet. Chantal, our server was amazing! She was attentive and made sure we satisfied with what we ordered!

Yelp
Enjoyed a 3 day stay at the 4 Seasons. Long enough to enjoy the Spa. Massage was wonderful & so was facial. Knowledgeable therapists. Also enjoyed the afternoon tea. What a fun experience! And the tea matched with cordials a wonderful touch. Room service was always punctual & food hot. The team of parking valets & doormen were always smiling & welcoming. Thank you for a wonderful stay!!

Yelp
Went to the One + One cafe yesterday to celebrate going full time with my photography business I put it in the reservation notes that we were celebrating the occasion and we had made the reservation too early for the brunch experience which I was supper bummed about because that is why we went but the server that we had went above and beyond and gave us pastries and I just felt really celebrated I can't wait to go back. The environment was wonderful. The staff was really friendly and kind. Food was delicious. Overall I would say one of the best dinning experiences I've had in a while. Thank you for everything

Yelp
A modern epitome of Mr Isadore Sharpes golden rule. A subtly exquisite property with magnificent rooms and kind, friendly, professional and welcoming staff. Hostelerie as it should be. Bravo! P

Yelp
High tea is a pretty good experience! The tea selection is limited but good. The sandwiches are yum :) Jay, the host/manager is a sweetheart! Highly recommend for a nice relaxing afternoon!

Yelp
I wish I could say better things about my brunch experience at One + One Restaurant but was hugely disappointed to celebrate a birthday here. Hostess and server with beautiful earrings were great but our main server rushed us and didn't acknowledge the birthday being celebrated as written on the reservation. Food was edible but no stand outs which is surprising for the new Four Seasons. The worst realization was that I ate and they served EXPIRED mini nutella jars. It seems that the brunch experience here is careless. I do not recommend this restaurant at all.

Yelp
I stayed at the Four Seasons at 1 Dalton in Boston the last 2 nights. For $1300 a night, I had high expectations of the room and service. I turned my "'make up room" service button on at 7:30am when I left the room. I came back at 3pm to a dirty room!!! For $1300 a night, I expect to be able to return to a clean room when I return from a long day. I had to call for housekeeping to come up at 3pm to clean my room and their lame excuse is that they start cleaning at 9am! Well 6 hours passed from the time you were supposed to have started!!! My rest time was disrupted as I had to wait for them to clean just the bathroom because I didn't have time or patience for them to make the beds as well. I paid $2400 in just room charge for 2 nights for a room that is small and mediocre at best. Only thing decent was the bathroom. Service was terrible and shattered my image of Four Seasons in general. So many better hotels around. I loved the Mandarine Oriental. For the same price, it's a much better room and service!!!

Yelp
I'll be honest here-- I am an afternoon tea snob. I lived in London and was so obsessed with afternoon tea that I would go every weekend to a different cafe or restaurant to experience it by myself or with friends. I've been to a number of unique afternoon tea sessions offered in different cities in the U.S. as well so it baffles me when people refer to afternoon tea as high tea because there is a distinction between the two (like macarons vs. macaroons). The one offered at the Trifecta, located inside the Four Seasons Hotel near the Prudential, is an Afternoon Tea session with bubbles/alcohol (priced at $60 per person). **Environment: I made a reservation a month in advance to enjoy with a friend who was visiting the city. When we walked into the hotel lobby, we were impressed by the ambience of what seemed like the Trifecta's lounge (it had darker lighting and more mood). And then we were led by the very friendly hostess to our seats in a more cleaner, white-themed lounge.... which turned out to be a corner table with one of the seats having the street emergency door(?) behind it. My friend and I were both disappointed with it as there were a number of other tables open (ones with sofa seats), but we didn't want to make a fuss about moving tables. I truly think the seating in an afternoon tea session can affect the experience because are we paying $60 for the food? Nope. We're paying $60 for the experience of leisurely eating finger food, chatting, drinking, and taking in the beautiful and luxurious ambience of that afternoon tea session. I hope in the future perhaps the Trifecta could decorate the second lounge better or put up decorative curtains or something. **Service: Our server was very friendly, but I can't say she went above and beyond. And I want to emphasize that it's through no fault of her own. It seemed like she was in charge of the entire lounge herself so it's no wonder she couldn't give all tables her full attention. I don't like to compare, but I've been at afternoon tea sessions where the service was impeccable because the servers would come by time and again (but not frequently enough to annoy us) to refill the teapots, ask if we needed anything else, etc. You just get the sense that you're being treated to something special. For this session, we were given complimentary pastries with caviar on it but neither my friend nor I knew what was in it because it was either not explained to us or maybe we just did not hear the explanation. I had to ask what liqueur was paired with my tea because I was given a response (is it chartreuse?? idk) but no detailed explanation. We were never asked whether we had any food sensitivities as well, which in hindsight surprises me because I feel like most places ask that immediately. **Food: I have to be harsh here... the scones were meh (at least to me). They were not warm (not that they have to be, but I like my pastries somewhat fresh out of the oven) and call me crazy but they seemed a little dense for me. They did cut very well in half though so maybe this was intentional. Scones can either be too flaky/crumbly and dry on one extreme and too dense and not fluffy or pillowy enough at the other extreme. My friend, who has never had a scone before, said she really liked the scones though. The finger sandwiches, however, had to be my favorite. The egg salad was AMAZING. It was the best egg salad I've ever had. I thought the curried chicken was also spiced perfectly with good flavor. The salmon with caviar did not taste fishy at all, which I take it to mean that's fresh salmon. The cucumber was alright (I don't like cucumbers) and the pretzel and cheddar sandwich was unique but felt out of place with the rest of the foods. Regarding the desserts... I am sad :( I love sweets, but these desserts were not diverse in their offerings nor were they exceptional. They were fine, but I feel like we expected more than a cake piece and petit fours with that hefty price tag. They were pretty though. **Alcohol: Phenomenal. Top notch, high quality alcohol. The rosé was perfectly chilled and bubbly. I initially hated the idea of pairing my tea with a liqueur (with Berry berry rose tea) or limoncello (white tea lemonade), but I was pleasantly surprised that the pairing truly worked well and you really can't taste the alcohol when it is added to the tea. Overall, we had a great time and it was worth experiencing. I felt the pricing was somewhat justified given the caviar and alcohol that came with the session (along with the great photos we took), but I am hesitant to say I would return here.

Yelp
I recently traveled to the city of Boston for a sightseeing vacation, and had the privilege of staying at the Four Seasons hotel on Dalton Street. I must admit that this hotel is everything people would expect from the Four Seasons chain of hotels. The hotel staff were amazing! They were very friendly, helpful, and also did everything they could to make my stay at the hotel enjoyable. The lobby and the room I stayed in were beautifully decorated with the most comfortable furniture out there. The room was immaculate and tidy, and the view of Boston from the windows was ABSOLUTELY STUNNING. The food was delicious and beautifully presented. There was even a large, well-kept pool on the seventh floor of the hotel which had its own stunning view of the city. If you are traveling to Boston for any occasion, the Four Seasons on Dalton Street is the perfect hotel to stay at.

Yelp
This was a good experience. We got a large room on a higher floor. Nice views. New building. Great service. No complaints

Yelp
Hotel facility is reasonable for a Four Seasons (inside), though definitely designed to cater to a business client. There is no outdoor space anywhere for guests. We are neighbors, and the hotel management has been about as obnoxious to the neighborhood as possible. The hotel continues to be under a lot of construction (July 2020)- construction vehicles consistently parked in resident parking spaces and illegally in areas which create danger to local residents, as they block a stop on Clearview St. Most recently, the hotel decided that the grassy area across from the hotel, which they are PART owner of, is suddenly off limits to dogs. Not sure what their residents do with their dogs, as there is no grass anywhere around. They actually had the audacity to demand we get off the grass when they don't own the entire property. When they opened, we put up guests at the hotel, visited the restaurant and spa several times, and gave them chances to work through the kinks. We found a team that was under trained and largely off-putting in their service approach. You may wish to know that the Mandarin Hotel has a far superior location, service, and the spa is actually run like a spa, not a "wellness floor", which seems to be a way of excusing sub-par service. If you're considering being a resident here, you should also evaluate the wind tunnel which blows full force around this building, most of the time (especially unpleasant in winter). There are many nice places to stay in Boston. Our guests will stay elsewhere once we start to have visitors again (post Covid). If you decide to stay, watch out for ongoing construction, including the entry road, which is torn up every other day.

Yelp
This luxury hotel is everything you come to expect from a Four Seasons Property. Although the lobby and entrance is not as "grand" as compared to the New York Midtown location, it is completely in line with smaller city properties. The rooms are spacious and luxurious. The beds are second to none in comfort and the soundproof rooms are a welcomed necessity to those that require sleep and relaxation. The location was perfect since I was there to visit my child who is a student in the city. Extremely convenient to the schools and the b They were still under some construction (as it is a brand new property) but it wasn't obtrusive nor could I hear any workers or noise. The customer service is beyond any other Four Seasons I've encountered and this was consistent with the doorman, the driver, the front desk, the housekeeping service, the repair person, etc. The iPads in the room made communication seemless and convenient. There was an Apple update while I was there and the repairman had to do a simple reset, but it wasn't disturbing and expected of Apple products. I would recommend this property to anyone who has visited a Four Seasons property and those who want an upscale experience. The customer service is truly spectacular and most of the reason that I would recommend this particular hotel. I will be back to this location every time I visit Boston.

Yelp
My husband and I attended a wedding during the summer at four seasons at 1 Dalton Street, and the wedding was at a beautiful Four Seasons Hotel; they had a fantastic ballroom Wedding. It was beautiful, and the place was gorgeous. The only downfall was my husband was in his electric chair, and he couldn't move around the room or get his wheelchair into the elevator fast enough. I spoke to the manager about the problem, and he apologized. I received a call that they would like to make it up to us with a two-night stay at the four-season hotel. We went back this weekend and had a wonderful time. The staff was excellent. From the time you got out of the car, I felt like royalty. We had a wonderful time. The room was clean and comfortable, huge, And it was excellent. Everything was very assessable, and It was more substantial. He was able to drive his wheelchair into the bathroom. Plus, in the shower, it did not get wet. Because there is extra seating, take a shower. It was so big! With a view. I think that was the best part of his stay, because if you have to have help all the time with your bath, from a PCA. And cannot afford a home that works right for your disabled. But grateful you can get away for a night or two. It was amazing. Thank you, Four Seasons Designers/ Contractors Donna and Brent

Yelp
Update: had some service issues but the manager talked to us at the end and tried to make amends. It wasn't a perfect experience but it's a nice property and surely worthy of another try in the future. They do seem to care about fixing issues.

Yelp
My previous review was for issues related to modifying reservation. This review is for our visit. Beautiful hotel with outstanding service. Every employee we encountered was friendly and helpful. Our dining experience was great--quick and beautiful presentation for each meal.

Yelp
A really nice hotel, with a great view and pool. My husband and I had a good weekend here for our Anniversary. There were a few let downs which would have made this a perfect stay. One was the fact that breakfast room service was always early by 15-20 minutes. They frequently woke us up. The other mix up was I scheduled the drinks trolly for our suite on the night of our anniversary for the four of us at five o'clock and it never showed up. At five thirty I called the front desk to inquire as to where it was and they said they would get back to me and never did. I recalled the desk and they admitted they forgot to call me. I cancelled the trolly and we went to the lobby bar for a pre-dinner drink before dinner a Zuma. The suite had a great view of the Science Center. The flowers I ordered were just what I wanted. Other services were spot on and friendly.

Yelp
This hotel is definitely one of the nicest hotels in Boston. I stayed in the Premier Corner room. The service and hotel was absolutely impressive
