Overall, we had a good stay. The staff were super friendly, professional, and always willing to help. Honestly, one of the best parts of the experience.
That said, the hotel itself feels quite old and tired. You can really notice it in the rooms, hallways, and overall facilities. Also, there was a strong cigarette smell in our corridor throughout the stay, which sometimes reached our room, which was not ideal.
Breakfast was okay, but could be better. There’s variety, but it felt a bit repetitive, especially the fruit section (pretty much the same four options every day). It would be great if they added an à la carte menu with more Western dishes as well as options from other Asian countries, something we’ve seen offered in other hotels of a similar level from different chains.
The service team at breakfast was super kind, but coffee orders were a bit confusing; it wasn’t clear which types they could make (like a latte macchiato). For a hotel of this level, that should be easier.
In short: great people, okay food, but the place could use a refresh and a few tweaks to match the level of service the staff provide.
