Four Seasons Hotel Shenzhen

"How did it strike you on arrival? The sky-high lobby of the 233-room Four Seasons Shenzhen first strikes you as a business hotel with an artsy bent, thanks to the enormous vertical paintings and geode-shaped reception desks. Nice. What’s the crowd like?Given the hotel’s Futian district address, right across the street from the busy Shenzhen Convention and Exhibition Center, the Four Seasons is the go-to for international execs. The good stuff: Tell us about your room.Inside the 26-story tower, colorful rooms feature an uplifting and somewhat unexpected aesthetic—contemporary Chinese brushwork murals, purple carpets, and pops of green. Even entry-level Deluxe Rooms are outfitted with large picture windows, a spacious workstation, ergonomic desk chairs, and pretty wood paneling. Club Rooms have the added benefit of Executive Lounge access, which serves breakfast, all-day snacks, and evening cocktails. It's a wonderful, spacious refuge for time-poor travelers. We’re craving some deep, restorative sleep. They got us?You can look forward to snuggling up on a king-size bed with a fluffy duvet. The hotel also provides a pillow menu and hypoallergenic linens on request. Please tell us the bathroom won’t let us down.Terry cloth bathrobes, marble floors, a TV-embedded mirror, double vanities, and a deep soaking tub... the bathroom situation is gold standard. Maybe the most important topic of all: Wi-Fi. What’s the word?Free Wi-Fi throughout the hotel will make work a breeze. Anything stand out about other services and features? Whether it’s childcare, gyms, spas, even parking—whatever stuck with you.Designed to feel like an urban garden, the hotel has lots of little courtyards and green spaces that will help travelers forget they’re in the middle of one of China’s most happening cities. But if you need a bit more help unwinding, there’s also a full-service spa, two pools, morning tai chi, a gym, and a yoga studio. As for food, you'll find four restaurants scattered throughout the hotel: FOO specializes in Asian-inspired international cuisine; Zhuo Yue Xuan serves Cantonese cuisine in a fine-dining setting; and Yi Bar & Lounge promises all-day dining, sophisticated high tea, and evening cocktails on the pretty outdoor terrace. What was most memorable—or heartbreaking—about your stay?Despite being in the middle of one of China’s busiest cities, the Four Seasons Shenzhen manages to feel like a Zen sanctuary with its outdoor terraces and artsy design. Bottom line: worth it, and why?For a luxurious stay in a Central location, the Four Seasons Shenzhen combines the brand's famously top-notch service with upbeat interiors." - Kate Springer

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Four Seasons Shenzhen, and I must say that despite its age, the hardware is very well maintained. The room was spacious and well designed, with a comfortable bed. However, I would suggest improving the pillows as they were a bit too soft for my liking. The highlight for me was the roomy bathroom with double sinks, which was a great convenience. I would also like to extend my heartfelt thanks to the front desk staff, particularly the duty manager, Alison, for going above and beyond to accommodate our request for two connecting rooms. It was a pleasant surprise to find out that both rooms were upgraded, and my family, including our kids, had an exceptional experience during our stay. Furthermore, the hotel's location is truly unbeatable, with a wide variety of dining options within a short walking distance, which added to the overall convenience and enjoyment of our visit. Thank you for providing us with a memorable stay and exceptional service. We will definitely come back again in the future.

An Unforgettable Stay at Four Seasons Hotel ShenzhenOur recent stay at the Four Seasons Hotel Shenzhen exceeded all expectations, delivering world-class hospitality in an unbeatable location. From the moment we arrived, the attentive and friendly front desk staff made us feel welcome. Though our room was still being prepared at noon, they efficiently completed our check-in and suggested we enjoy lunch nearby while waiting—even recommending an excellent seafood restaurant that we absolutely loved. The biggest surprise? We were upgraded to a stunning executive room, which was spacious, beautifully designed, and far more luxurious than we had anticipated. The extra space, premium amenities, and meticulous attention to detail made our stay feel truly special. What truly set this hotel apart was its fantastic location—just a stone’s throw away from four major shopping malls, each offering an incredible selection of high-end shops, diverse dining options, and entertainment. Whether we wanted a quick coffee, a gourmet meal, or some retail therapy, everything was within easy walking distance, making our stay both convenient and exciting. Every interaction with the staff was warm and professional, and the hotel’s commitment to excellence was evident in every detail. We highly recommend the Hotel for anyone seeking luxury, convenience, and impeccable service. We can’t wait to return!

We had a wonderful stay! We arrived early in the morning around 9am, and the front desk Allison was incredibly accommodating. Not only did they allow us to check in early, but they also surprised us with a free room upgrade, which made our trip even more comfortable. The hotel offers a ton of kid-friendly amenities that made things super convenient for our family. From check-in to check-out, everything was smooth and thoughtful. Highly recommend for families traveling with children!

To be honest, I wasn’t sure what to expect — the hotel is a little older than some newer luxury brands, and I wondered if it might feel dated.||But after 15 days of hotel-hopping across China, I chose to spend 2 nights here at Four Seasons Futian Shenzhen, and it turned out to be one of the best decisions of the trip.||From the moment I arrived, everything was smooth, sincere, and professional. Even though I didn’t receive an upgrade, they had already prepared my room in advance and selected the best available room within my category. That showed care — not policy.||They made sure all my pillow requests were handled exactly. The room setup was seamless, clean, and comfortable. I settled in effortlessly, like I was coming home.||Breakfast? Delicious.|I hadn’t had good zongzi (bajang) in ages, and theirs completely satisfied my cravings. Every dish was well-prepared, fresh, and beautifully presented.||The location is excellent — easy to navigate, close to food, and in a well-planned part of town. No maze-like confusion. Just smart city layout and calm energy.||Only one small downside: check-out took 20 minutes due to a long queue. That was the only hiccup. Otherwise? Zero complaints.||Would I come back?|Absolutely. Already planning it. ❤️

Stayed at the Four Seasons Shenzhen from June 29–31 and it was a really pleasant stay. The room was clean, modern and super quiet, which we appreciated after a long day. Service was kind and professional, not too much, not too little. Special thanks to the team at the front desk who helped us with a few last minute changes, such as changing a room due to bad odor.| they were very patient. Everything felt smooth, even if we didn’t get to explore the whole property.||100% recommend for your stay in shenzhen

Have stayed in many luxury properties in Asia and around the world. What I loved about the FS in Shenzhen was the very warm and genuine welcome by Mr. Wayne Chao. A wonderful gentleman and great ambassador of the brand. He made us feel very welcome, acknowledged that we celebrated our anniversary and made our stay memorable. In this time if age, hotels are competing with products and amenities but the most important assets are its people. Thank you Wayne and of course all other lovely and smiley associates that we have met during our short stay. We will make the FS our hotel of choice when visiting SZ next time.

Celebrated Birthday at Four Season Shenzhen and experience has been warm. Compared to Rosewood Guangzhou, the Four Season brand is commendable.||||The Service Level is impeccable , especially Jacky at the checkin counter, he is sincere and not superficial. When checking out , while Jacky is not around but that lady too is sincere and speaks with warmth heart. Their selection or training process must be thorough.||||Room is clean, bathroom is huge , the mattress is the same type(soft) as the one we have in experience at Four Seasons SG. ||||The Four Seasons App is responsive, asked for Towels (amenities) and its delivered swiftly.||||We stayed between 12-14 July.

A convenient location, however, really needs a facelift as the property is very aged and it shows, with hardware and furniture that looks worn, dated interiors. Face to face service was good, however staff could be more attentive and proactive in providing assistance. Waited a long time to be called to check-in even though the lobby was empty and staff was not helping anyone… Washrooms were not monitored frequently and cleaned promptly, leaving a poor impression on hygiene standards. A letdown Four Seasons experience unfortunately. Management needs to do better than this for a top tier global brand.
