Four Seasons Hotel Shenzhen

"How did it strike you on arrival? The sky-high lobby of the 233-room Four Seasons Shenzhen first strikes you as a business hotel with an artsy bent, thanks to the enormous vertical paintings and geode-shaped reception desks. Nice. What’s the crowd like?Given the hotel’s Futian district address, right across the street from the busy Shenzhen Convention and Exhibition Center, the Four Seasons is the go-to for international execs. The good stuff: Tell us about your room.Inside the 26-story tower, colorful rooms feature an uplifting and somewhat unexpected aesthetic—contemporary Chinese brushwork murals, purple carpets, and pops of green. Even entry-level Deluxe Rooms are outfitted with large picture windows, a spacious workstation, ergonomic desk chairs, and pretty wood paneling. Club Rooms have the added benefit of Executive Lounge access, which serves breakfast, all-day snacks, and evening cocktails. It's a wonderful, spacious refuge for time-poor travelers. We’re craving some deep, restorative sleep. They got us?You can look forward to snuggling up on a king-size bed with a fluffy duvet. The hotel also provides a pillow menu and hypoallergenic linens on request. Please tell us the bathroom won’t let us down.Terry cloth bathrobes, marble floors, a TV-embedded mirror, double vanities, and a deep soaking tub... the bathroom situation is gold standard. Maybe the most important topic of all: Wi-Fi. What’s the word?Free Wi-Fi throughout the hotel will make work a breeze. Anything stand out about other services and features? Whether it’s childcare, gyms, spas, even parking—whatever stuck with you.Designed to feel like an urban garden, the hotel has lots of little courtyards and green spaces that will help travelers forget they’re in the middle of one of China’s most happening cities. But if you need a bit more help unwinding, there’s also a full-service spa, two pools, morning tai chi, a gym, and a yoga studio. As for food, you'll find four restaurants scattered throughout the hotel: FOO specializes in Asian-inspired international cuisine; Zhuo Yue Xuan serves Cantonese cuisine in a fine-dining setting; and Yi Bar & Lounge promises all-day dining, sophisticated high tea, and evening cocktails on the pretty outdoor terrace. What was most memorable—or heartbreaking—about your stay?Despite being in the middle of one of China’s busiest cities, the Four Seasons Shenzhen manages to feel like a Zen sanctuary with its outdoor terraces and artsy design. Bottom line: worth it, and why?For a luxurious stay in a Central location, the Four Seasons Shenzhen combines the brand's famously top-notch service with upbeat interiors." - Kate Springer

After experiencing several top end hotels in Shenzhen, Four Seasons stands out as the one I would always return to. Great location, the service impeccable, and all facilities perfectly suited for both business and leisure. The quality executive lounge opens until 11pm, is a unique find in the area. Special thanks to Susan whose attention to details and proactive care make our stays truly memorable. Equally, Miss Nikki Chan deserves huge recognition for her exceptional support in organising our 2nd special family celebration stay from suites/rooms and restaurants reservations to arranging a private banquet suite, just PERFECT! I can’t thank you enough for all the help provided. The executive lounge and restaurant and spa teams were outstanding– attentive, professional and Miley, Rica, everyone that we have met delivered services truly at an international standard. We all had a wonderful stay each time without fail… Once again, huge appreciation to the 4S crews. You guys are just AMAZING !

Overall, we had a good stay. The staff were super friendly, professional, and always willing to help. Honestly, one of the best parts of the experience. That said, the hotel itself feels quite old and tired. You can really notice it in the rooms, hallways, and overall facilities. Also, there was a strong cigarette smell in our corridor throughout the stay, which sometimes reached our room, which was not ideal. Breakfast was okay, but could be better. There’s variety, but it felt a bit repetitive, especially the fruit section (pretty much the same four options every day). It would be great if they added an à la carte menu with more Western dishes as well as options from other Asian countries, something we’ve seen offered in other hotels of a similar level from different chains. The service team at breakfast was super kind, but coffee orders were a bit confusing; it wasn’t clear which types they could make (like a latte macchiato). For a hotel of this level, that should be easier. In short: great people, okay food, but the place could use a refresh and a few tweaks to match the level of service the staff provide.

Booked another stay at Four Seasons Shenzhen. A recommendable hotel at the same vicinity where it situates so closed to the shopping malls and plenty of dining options nearby.||We had a friendly and speedy check-in at the reception desk. But still I personally prefer the hospitality offered by Max who works at the Club. The services offered by Max was at another level.||The room was nicely set up prior to our arrival. Thanks to the housekeeping team. ||Buffet at Foo was an excellent experience where the food quality and service standard were great. Special mention to Jacky Fu and Bernice Liu. They were so friendly and attentive; making sure we are enjoying the most out of the dining experience. ||Another enjoyable stay at Four Seasons.

Style. Modern building by architect Urbanus and Hba interior designers Setting. Futian. Short walk to the High Speed station and in the very smart and new CBD Explore. Was here for work but SZ has something for everyone. It is really a very dynamic, creative and walkable city Rooms. Was upgraded to a suite (room 2609), room is nice but sofa was stained. Made me really appreciate the Hong Kong Four seasons which is 8 years older but better maintained @ the hotel. Serenity in energetic Futian. Quick wifi that connects to facebook ig etc with no issues (rare in china) Food & drinks. Didn’t eat here. But breakfast buffet was good Prices. US$ 614 for 3 nights. Using corp rate Rating. 5/5 except for the stained sofa.

The Four Seasons Shenzhen is simply outstanding. Its location in the heart of the city is perfect, but the signature service is what truly defines this hotel. The staff were professional, attentive, and made us feel genuinely cared for from the moment we checked in.||Our room was beautifully designed, luxurious, and perfectly maintained. Whether you’re visiting for business or a city break, this property delivers that world-class Four Seasons standard. Highly, highly recommend this hotel for an exceptional experience. I highly recommend this hotel , breakfast was great too

Booked through Amex under Fine Hotel & Resorts which includes $100 (710 CNY) credit for their F&B outlets. From check-in to the room and service provided was excellent. It was a short stop before traveling on to Zhangjiajie and happened to be my friend’s bday. Even the pillow case was embroidered “Happy Birthday” and an amenity was sent to the room. Upon check-in, we were presented with a coupon for 15% discount for F&B outlets. We had Cantonese food and used the 15% coupon. There was no disclaimer as to the usage of the coupon. Upon checkout, I didn’t notice that an adjustment was made to our bill until I got home. When I inquired about it, I was told discount was reversed out as the $100 credit was used. So much for letting me know without letting me know. Could this be a typical business practice in China? Never had any issue with using Amex Fine Hotel & Resort at Crockfords Las Vegas and always able to stack my Hilton Gold benefit with Fine Hotel & Resort experience credit.

Our family of 3 stayed there for two nights in Aug and received a complimentary upgrade when they realised it was my husband’s birthday. Not only did they throw in a cute birthday cake and fruit basket, the service rendered by front desk Marmara was extraordinary. We also received a birthday card from Lynsey. When we encountered problems with reserving an eye massage with a salon, concierge Evan Yong assisted us to call and went all out to make sure our reservation went smoothly. The hotel is very well maintained and the location was splendid, with 皇庭广场directly across the road. Many nice eateries are within walking distance as well. I will highly recommend this hotel!
