Enjoyed the Christmas holiday at the Four Seasons Cabo Del Sol. We stayed in a Casita with a plunge pool . Will go over the good and can be improved for the resort:||The good:|1. Service - was very good in all aspects of the resort - pool side (need to get used to pressing the button), concierge, front desk, adventures, beach, restaurants, room service, maid service - all exceptional and friendly.|2. Spa and workout facilities were to my sons liking.|3. Room was very good - use of space was good. All the little touches and amenities were there to make it a great experience. Our room had the plunge pool above the cabanas which created privacy - many rooms had the plunge pool on a walk path - would not have liked that. One downside - if someone entered the first door to the room (there were 2) they could easily see into the outdoor shower through large gaps in the door and the wall.|4. Cayao restaurant - food was amazing! We ate there twice and there were still things on the menu we wanted to try. The hamachi appetizer and the rice with short rib were 2 of the favorites.|5. Excursions - we did snorkeling, atv, surfing, paddle board, jet skis, kayak - all easy to arrange and manage.||The can be improved:|1. Mentioned outdoor shower above - make it more private.|2. Palmerio - this restaurant was good - not great by any means. If the pasta was fresh, something in the presentation covered it up. I had the penne on "pasta night" as an example - alot of the pasta was stuck together. Overall - nothing here was bad - but certainly not memorable.|3. Cabana - we rented one on Christmas - was nice to have shade. Would not recommend - TV did not work in first one - fan broke in second one. The fruit offered in the package for the most part was not ripe. The views from the cabanas are not very good. Overall - not worth the price.||Overall - for me - still 5 stars. Great experience!
