This was the weirdest grocery store experience I’ve had in my 30 years of life. My wife and I went here three times during our stay in Queenstown and never again. Our first experience was going through the self check-out and had an employee watching us like a hawk and continuously checking we weren’t stealing. The second time was the same. We put this down to maybe someone having a bad day or being overly cautious, but the third time took the cake. We were scanning as per usual and I was about to scan the garlic (there were no faults in the machine requiring assistance), the lady came along grabbed it from me and told me I had to scan the garlic… and I replied “yeah I’m getting there” and she rudely walked off. I’m honestly so confused, if someone from the store could contact me to explain to me how this happened it would be really appreciated. If you’re a bloke with a beard I would avoid.

Between a convenience store and a supermarket, so maybe a small supermarket? Good selection of dry goods, but the bread and produce run out by the end of the day, so it is slim pickings in the afternoons and evenings.

The biggest convenience store in the cbd area, although it's still considered small. It has all the basic things plus hot food. There are many customers here so it can get crowded because the asiles are narrow.

Four Square Queenstown is a convenient supermarket located in the heart of Queenstown, New Zealand. It's a popular spot for both locals and tourists to pick up groceries, snacks, and essential items. The store is well-stocked with a variety of fresh produce, dairy products, meats, and baked goods, as well as a good selection of local wines and beers. Known for its friendly service and central location, Four Square Queenstown is a handy stop for anyone looking to gather supplies for a day of adventure or a cozy night in.

Lovely place to get groceries!

Very small store. They have most everything you will need. Located on the only busy road. They even have a small selection of cooked items like fried chicken and meat pies. Female staff we encountered were very friendly and helpful. One male stocking meat section was visibly annoyed when asked question about thicker steaks. It is the only grocery store in the area.

Very friendly and large selection for being right in the heart of town. It’s a bit pricey though but that is to be expected given its location.

Been here almost every day this week visiting Queenstown. Obviously prices are a little jacked up compared to Woolworths but also much better priced than the smaller delis in town. Always busy but flows well. Because it’s busy can run out of some stock but expected.
