Fun to taste the same Pinot noir wine but aged in no new oak or 25% new oak; pretty striking difference and fun to really taste what new oak does to a wine. Hoping there are more “experiments”/comparisons to come. Also, really enjoyed chatting with one of the owners, hanging out in the shaded gazebo, walking through the lavender fields, and petting their dog, Spot. Had a really nice afternoon.

My spouse and I came on a Wednesday to see the lavender growing, but we stopped in to try Pinot Noirs galore. Justin was very friendly and helpful. And wines we bought were wonderful. Thanks for the cozy time!

Relaxing wine tasting. Comfortable patio and friendly, knowledgeable staff. Definitely worth stopping by. I was staying at the fairgrounds so it was really convenient to just walk across the street and have a nice tasting. I would definitely go again.

We stopped by Foursight Wines on our way to Mendocino with our two kiddos and dog, and it was such a memorable experience. After a long drive from the East Bay, we arrived feeling a bit frazzled—with wild kids ready to run and a dog eager to roam—but Kristy, the owner, welcomed us with incredible warmth and grace. The property is beautiful, with a large outdoor space where our kids loved playing on the charming airplane structure. Their sweet dog, Spot, made us feel even more at home! The wines were absolutely delightful. The tasting started with whites and finished with four Pinots, all of which we enjoyed—but we especially loved the Pinots. Kristy’s friendly and genuine demeanor made the experience feel like catching up with an old friend. We’re already looking forward to returning and purchasing more from Foursight Wines in the future. Highly recommend for the delicious wines, the wonderful hospitality, and the relaxed, family- and dog-friendly atmosphere.

Foursight was such a lovely experience. My partner and I stopped by in the late afternoon on Labor Day and were paid close attention to by Kristy. She was so kind, answering all our questions and elaborating on the traditional methods of winemaking she and her husband use from native ferments to champagne presses dialed in by taste. From the ambiance and from Kristy's stories, it's clear Foursight is a pillar of the local community. I'd be happy to support them just on this principle, but the wines are uniquely excellent on top of that. We went home with three different pinot noirs -- the whites were also nice, just not our personal tastes. Personal takes: The 2021 zero new oak pinot is a tasty chillable wine with great acidity, raspberry/cranberry notes, and a somewhat mineralistic finish. The 2020 clone 05 pinot was really special. Smooth and delectable. From the first sip we knew we needed it in our collection for a special occasion. Finally, the 2020 paraboll enamored us with its smooth as hell boysenberry jam, lemon zest, and pastry crust goodness. We had such a great time talking with Kristy that I left my jacket behind, and she was nice enough to mail it back to me. Foursight truly cares about their wines, their customers, and their community. Make sure to stop by!

Google
Anderson Valley magic at this family owned gem. Incredibly small production of about 2,000 cases per year. Super friendly owners and staff. Great location as you enter thru Anderson Valley and Boonville from the East end of Hwy 128. Fantastic vintages at very reasonable price points. A great start to the valley. Cheers!

Normally when I go wine tasting there are some wines that I like and some that I don’t like. This was an exception because every wine that we had here was extraordinary. It was also interesting to hear the story behind the wines of how they have different strains of yeast to ferment the wine and the process is more traditional than others. Bonus to the cute dog Sasha!

Tucked into the small city of Boonville is this treasure. Parking is limited but the wines are worth it. The outdoor seating is welcome and the staff are knowledgeable about everything. There is a cute dog that will greet you from the fields behind the tasting room. Recommended stopping to taste and staying with your picnic.

Yelp
Wow just wow They have some really nice wines here The Pinot noirs are very exceptional. Small tasting room located in town. Sue talked to us about the winery , she was very knowledgeable. They had just did the harvest and the smells were amazing, I found out about this place from a person in the wine business and she said if you like Pinots you need to go here and I am glad I did!

Yelp
What a little piece of heaven! This adorable winery is nestled right in the heart of Booneville right along CA-128. I attended Foursight's open house during the Anderson Valley Pinot Festival weekend and had a splendid time tasting their delicious wines and scrumptious homemade goodies! First and foremost, I have to send a HUGE thank you to Jimmy, Al, and the other two men who helped get my car out of the mud! It was raining pretty hard and I ended up parking in a bad spot and got stuck in the mud. Luckily, they were there to help me get my car out of the mud. They spent almost an hour doing this! They got muddy, dirty, and even had equipment to hook up my car to pull it out! I was just so amazed. If that had happened in my area, I'd probably be stranded and would be forced to get it towed. I'm SO grateful! Thank you all so much! Phew, okay now back to the winery review! I have to say, out of all the wineries that I visited during my recent trip to AV, Foursight Wines was the most FUN! The environment is so casual and light hearted. This is a family owned and operated winery, so you'll have the pleasure of meeting the wonderful family behind the wine. Everyone... and I mean EVERYONE that I encountered was extremely friendly. I was able to meet Joe the winemaker in the tasting room, and he poured our wines while explaining tidbits about each one of them. It's so rare to be able to meet the actual winemaker, and I was so impressed with how passionate he is about his wines. And, he has every reason to be passionate about them because they were ALL incredibly delightful! Foursight Wines is a house of Pinot Noir. They produce some of the best Pinot Noir that I've ever tasted! They're wines come from a single vineyard and are never filtered or fined. You will definitely be able to taste the high quality with each and every sip. I'm a Pinot gal at heart, so I instantly fell in love with the wines here. My absolutely favorites were their 2017 Clone 05 Pinot Noir and their 2017 Paraboll. Also notable was their fresh ingredients Sauvignon Blanc and their enjoyably sweet Semillon. Their wines are truly state of the art. I can't forget to mention all of the delicious home cooked goods! Nancy did a FABULOUS job preparing all of the yummy food! There were homemade cookies, brownies, salsas, and SCRUMPTIOUS dips (loved that roasted red pepper and walnut dip!!!). The Oysters Girls Oysters Bar was fabulous as well! The oysters were fresh and tasty. If you ever have a chance to visit Foursight during one of their events, DO IT! You will be spoiled rotten, I tell you! The food was just amazing. Well gosh, if I haven't convinced you to come and visit this marvelous winery, then I don't know what else will. Just trust me on this one! You won't be disappointed.

Yelp
Visited 6 wineries during Pinot Fest last weekend and Foursight was the favorite! Friendly, relaxed, family-run winery with great wines and the food pairing that we had with our tasting was delicious. We were able to chat with the winemaker, his wife and other family members who were helping out at the winery which really added to the experience. It was a beautiful outdoor setting, perfect place to enjoy a wine tasting flight or a glass!

Yelp
If you've read my reviews then you know I am an avid fan of Anderson Valley and it's wineries. This is one of my favorites and I just recently joined the wine club. The have reds and whites and like most Anderson Valley wineries the specialize in Pinot Noir. They waive tasting fees with purchase and have participated in the AV wine events that we have attended and have offered small bites during these events. The winemaker Joe and his wife are very passionate about what they do and always make you feel like family when your visiting. The Zero Pinot Noir is my favorite. Cheers

Yelp
We visited Boonville several weeks ago and stumbled upon this winery. The owners were super friendly and they had space available without a reservation on a Saturday afternoon, so that was a solid start. We got two tastings and my favorite were the Pinots. Although the ambience wasn't ideal given the COVID situation (I'm sure it'll be way better post-COVID), we enjoyed the wines a lot and would highly recommend.

Yelp
Courtney was phenomenal! Great experience and wine. Driving out along the twisting and turning of Hwy 128 to Boonville you will find this gem. $10 tasting fee waived with a bottle purchase. Pinot Noir delight!

Yelp
The wines are delicious and we left with a bottle to enjoy at a later date. This is a good spot to try before or after wine and cheese at Pennyroyal Farms, located just down and across the street. We spent our visit receiving pours and lots of information from the very talkative wine maker. He's good if you want to learn a lot about wine making, although prepare yourself to be talked at, as opposed to talked with.

Yelp
I love this family of wine makers. I am a red wine lover, and they make excellent pinots from family vineyards that have been theirs for generations. Small scale, informal, and exceptionally friendly, the Foursight crowd is a delight to visit at their tasting room in Booneville. And for some 10 years or more now, when I leave it is always with some more wine.

Yelp
Foursight Wines is one of my favorites in Anderson Valley. The wines are perfection to me. The tasting room is nice and welcoming, the people are all so wonderful and eager to answer any questions you have about their wines. They also put on a great event around harvest that I always come away from having learned something new. I Foursight!!

Yelp
Nice place to stop for a glass of wine, or two. Place has been in the family for numerous generations.#MoneyMikeChallenge

Yelp
Great family winery and great wines! First winery on your right when you enter Boonville. Make sure you stop and try the wines!

Yelp
Amazing! Amazing!! Amazing!!! My fiance and I ran into this place on our way home from Point Arena on the coast to Sacramento. It was a cute little place off to the side of the main highway. We popped in and found another couple tasting as well. We are definitely red drinkers, and we were NOT disappointed. The wines were so tasty and the girl pouring for us (sadly, I forgot her name, but she was super nice) was so sweet we ended joining a membership even though its three hours away from home. We loved all the Pinots!!! Cute dog too!! :)

Yelp
The most unpretentious winery with the friendliest and kindest service. We were riding through Boonville and saw this sign advertising 91 points Pinot Noir so we decided to make a pit stop. To our amazement the Pinots were quite spectacular with a hint of passion and lots of love. This is a small family owned vineyard and I'm grateful to be one of their new member; couldn't resist the sexy Pinots and the superb service. They even offered us some food to go with our never ending tasting. Please please if you're in the area this is a must visit vineyard you won't regret it and you will leave with a few bottles or more. If you're a Pinot love like I am this will blow your pockets away because you will not leave empty handed. Lots of different varieties of Pinots.

Yelp
Really great wines first of all...I mean I never thought of Anderson Valley as the next great wine destination but if wines on the level of Foursight and some others in the area keep popping up than Anderson Valley is going to explode. Foursight Wines is located on a beautiful piece of land and it is one of those wineries that just transform you to another place. Plus the staff is incredible there. This new winery is up for some big things in they're future if they keep producing wines of this quality!
google avatar

Yelp
Foursight is a really nice family-run winery in Anderson Valley with awesome Pinot Noir and Sauvignon Blanc. Stop in or make it a destination to experience the way wine country used to be with generous tastings and the winemaker there to tell you about the products. You'll be glad you stopped in. Also, for the Vegans and Vegetarians, their wine labels state "Suitable for Vegans & Vegetarians".

Yelp
Yum! We couldn't wait to open the one bottle we purchased. Should have purchased a few more--what were we thinking? Great pace and conversation as we stopped in a bit tired with our two little kids. They (the kids) didn't let us stay long, but so grateful we got a little time here during our journey to Humboldt.

Yelp
Foursight is a fourth generation family owned winery right in Boonville. Incredible Pinot Noir and Semillon -- the only Semillon in Anderson Valley. They grow their grapes onsite and don't use sulphates. The vintner himself was pouring when we went and was incredibly informative about both the wine making process and Boonville history and culture.

T E.

Yelp
We bought a case of 1/2 bottles that were on sale for a great price. This tastes great, can't believe how cheap it is we thought. Tucked the bottles away in our wine closet. A couple of weeks later the corks out of 4 or 4 bottles had popped out spilling wine onto the floor that was now a dried syrupy mess. Some of the other corks were distended, too So that's why it was on sale, because the corks were popping out. I really wouldn't have cared that much of they had been honest and disclosed this. We would have either drunk it sooner or stored it upright or something But definitely a very sleazy practice not to disclose the issue.

Yelp
Vineyard owned by a couple. They use their own grapes in their wines. A lot of knowledge about the wine making process. From what was shared they take a unique approach for today to their wines. I would recommend visiting.
google avatar

Denny B.

Yelp
Family run and friendly dogs. Fine Pinot, yummy DRY gewurz and a wide range of wines to sample. The pours are generous, repeated and free. We bought plenty of them. Hard to find at retail level, this is a must stop in the Anderson Valley.
google avatar

Andrew L.

Yelp
This is an amazing family run winery. They only use estate grapes that they grow themselves on the vineyard right next to the tasting room. The location is amazing, the first winery in Boonville on your way into the Anderson Valley. I love how the only red wine they make is Pinot Noir, which demonstrates their commitment to doing it really well. Kristy is so friendly in the tasting room too! We picked up 10 cases for our wedding!
google avatar

Kai C.

Yelp
I really like this winery in Anderson Valley. This place is run by a husband and wife team and the grapes are sourced from the wife's parents vineyard. You can tell that the owner has such passion in winemaking by the way he geeks out with his wine talk. I enjoyed all the Pinot Noirs, especially the 2010 vintage as well as the 2011. This is the first winery where I actually signed up for their wine club. Club members get 20% off on the wine, which is a great deal on top of their reasonably priced wine. Oh, did I forget to mention that their wines are very good?
google avatar

Liz L.

Yelp
Stopped by this place on the way up to Mendocino and was pleasantly surprised at their vegan / vegetarian wine- finally! Right up my alley!! Everything I tasted was yummy, and I blindly bought the Sav Blanc and was VERY happy with it when I got home! Will definitely return!
google avatar

Yelp
Foursight wines are beautiful. The Sauvignon blanc and semillion arer spot on. I really loved The 06 Charles vineyard Pinot Noir. Sincere, hard working, smart family. Great place to stay. Loved the McNab dogs. Bill and Nancy were awesome hosts. It was nice being able to meet two generations. We stayed at the guest house, clean and tidy we really enjoyed ourselves.
google avatar

Gerry C.

Yelp
Solid winery with several good wines. Owner is 4th generation in wine business. Very good whites. Stop by to assess all the wines. Owner was helpful and eager to get your take on her family's wines.
google avatar

Cynthia S.

Yelp
I really gave this place 4 stars for the greeters/wine servers. They were so friendly and inviting.
google avatar

Tony M.

Yelp
I'm giving the whole experience a 5 star rating, not necessarily the wines, just an FYI opener. Came to town for the Boonville Beer Festival and yet the place was deserted. The proprietor was ready for action in the tasting room and, while we weren't talking a great deal about the wines, he was very talkative, welcoming and unpretentious. I was happy to support his business and take a couple of bottles home. They offer two different whites and several iterations of Pinot Noir only, no other reds. Overall I would recommend to someone who would be passing through, but unfortunately I am too far flung to become a regular here.

T. G.

Yelp
A great little winery just up the road from the AVBC. Foursight just opened a short while ago but have already produced Pinot's and Sav Blanc's that have been rated over 90 points in the wine spectator! Their wines are fantastic. Joe the wine maker is a true talent. They are a completely family owned winery with great stories, on beautiful land in AV and even have a great little dog, too. Go for the wine, stay for the experience.

Yelp
this was our first stop during our drive through the anderson valley. they have a small and cute tasting room. i enjoyed their wines, but i also enjoyed hearing from the lady working there all about the family-owned business. it was nice to learn that this winery has been passed on for several generations. good pinot noir and sauvignon blanc.

Julie E.

Yelp
Thank you, Kristy, for a wonderful tasting experience! This is a small-volume, family-run winery that plays with the big boys with an incredible, top-shelf quality product. Rarely do you find a tasting room at smaller wineries that pour exceptional wines at every selection. Kristy's knowledge was thorough and reflected her passion for the winemaking process. Their pinot noir vintages are absolutely brilliant. And Kristy was friendly and generous with her time with all the parties in the tasting room. For discerning wine lovers looking to discover the Next Big Thing in Anderson Valley wines, do NOT pass up Foursight; you will not regret the detour.

Paul T.

Yelp
This is a don't miss spot, with a gracious host (Kristy if you are lucky) and very good wines, at good prices. Their Sauvignon Blanc is the best in the valley, and their Pinots are noteworthy. Family-owned, this is a great place to support. We stayed in their guest house, which was very comfortable. Can't wait to go back.
