"Let Libations Lead to Learning, Love and more Liquor It's not done idly when they eschew the term "distillery" in favor of "rum factory and heritage park" in the case of Foursquare. As a "rum factory" they produce tremendous amounts of some of the most loved rums from Barbados. Naturally, you can find the exquisite Foursquare Rum here, but they also produce an exceptional line under the Doorly's label, plus another hard-drinking favorite named Old Brigand, among others. And when it comes to the "heritage park" part, the grounds boast a kind of museum in the form of a field littered with antique rum manufacturing equipment, plus a rum educational pavilion, and most uniquely, an amphitheater for local musical and theatrical performances. When you stop in, ask for a corn 'n oil!"

Super cool place. Must visit if you like rum. It's a self guided tour which gives you lots of freedom to look around the place. The downside of that is that it can get a bit confusing about where you can and can't explore because it is an operating distillery. The signs say to follow the yellow footsteps. Unfortunately, there are no yellow footsteps. I'm not sure if that used to be a thing. Well worth a visit. The tasting at the Copper Still Bar was also awesome.

Visited here today (Independence Day) having booked a tour and tasting along with fellow passengers off our ship that was in port for the day. Dario, our host was fantastic. Very knowledgeable and explained really well what makes the Foursquare range of rums so special. The tasting rounded off the tour perfectly and if you are staying or visiting Barbados like us, hire a man and a van and get yourself to foursquare, you won't be disappointed. Thanks Dario for your hospitality and knowledge! The foursome from Scotland and Florida !

This place is heavenly. You can walk around the grounds, which are massive and beautiful, on your own. You can tour the distillery, by yourself. Then when you’re done you head into the bar and sit back while they explain the history, different cask maturations and the flavour profiles of each rum, all while sipping away at the nectar of gods.

Widely accepted as the best Rum Producer in the world (many awards, year after year) and yet, the tour is so personal and honestly just an outstanding experience. Dario is the best!! We stopped here for a cruise, specifically took the cruise for this, and it did not disappoint. While FourSquare is not offered as ship excursion, it’s well worth arranging transport (I suggest Terrvette Tours). The sampling is well worth the price. It’s another lesson from Dario. And he surprised us with an unreleased ECS bottle. Can’t wait to come back and try the on site Air BNB.

Took some friends here to share the amazing experience I'd had before with the rum tasting but was a little disappointed. The sample pours of the exceptional cask series were so tiny you couldn't taste the rum. The person serving gave none of the history of the distillery, the reason to leave the rum to breath a little in the glass or add drops of water... basically poured and walked off each sample. It wasn't the passion that I'd experienced in 2022. I love Foursqure rum and it's amazing quality but our experience at the tasting was that they didn't care too much about sharing it.

Lea was at the tasting bar on Thursday afternoon and took great care of us. Some of the best rum on the island. Better than st Abbie. Definitely come if your into rum. Beautiful property and tasting room newly with ac. Terry was great and showed us around the still as we kept getting confused! Whoops! Nice people! Laid back charm.

Excellent! Excellent! Our tasting host was Tamira. She was wonderful and educated us on the rum. She was funny and sweet. But the best part was Dario Folkes the bartender! We asked for suggestions and he provided us 4 cocktails we had never had before all four were amazing. “Rich dad Poor Dad”, a refreshing rum sour, a fantastic rum punch and the best pina colada I have ever had. Would highly recommend to stop by beautiful grounds and great staff. And of course the rum is excellent. But then Dario made us a new drink called Mercy’s punch. It was sweet and tart and oh so good!
