"Let Libations Lead to Learning, Love and more Liquor It's not done idly when they eschew the term "distillery" in favor of "rum factory and heritage park" in the case of Foursquare. As a "rum factory" they produce tremendous amounts of some of the most loved rums from Barbados. Naturally, you can find the exquisite Foursquare Rum here, but they also produce an exceptional line under the Doorly's label, plus another hard-drinking favorite named Old Brigand, among others. And when it comes to the "heritage park" part, the grounds boast a kind of museum in the form of a field littered with antique rum manufacturing equipment, plus a rum educational pavilion, and most uniquely, an amphitheater for local musical and theatrical performances. When you stop in, ask for a corn 'n oil!"

The tour at Foursquare Rum Distillery was absolutely educational and engaging. Our guide, though fairly new, was incredibly knowledgeable about the history and process behind the distillery’s world-famous rums. We had the opportunity to sample seven different rums, each rich in flavor and crafted with precision—no sugar added, just pure quality. We even tasted the water produced on site, which added to the experience. This visit is a must for anyone traveling to Barbados, especially since it’s the rum capital of the West Indies.

We wanted to visit a distillery on the island without joining a guided tour, and Foursquare was truly the best place to do it. The grounds are beautiful and we even saw a monkey while walking around. The tasting room has a gorgeous stone interior and the cost was 50 Barbados dollars per person. A great spot to explore, taste, and enjoy at your own pace. Highly recommend!

We stopped in on a rainy day and were immediately greeted with our options for tastings and tours. We elected to do the exclusive rum tasting which includes 6 pours. Dario was awesome from start to finish explaining all the nuances of each rum.

Tamera is the best!!!! She is very knowledgeable of the whole history of the distillery and was able to answer any questions our small group sent her way. Tamera allowed us ample time to take photos before proceeding into the next areas of the tour.. I was by myself with a couple who was able to take photos of each other and I loved how Tamera asked me if wanted my photo taken with the rum bottles I sampled. She provided the perfect photo opportunity by the way she lined up the bottles and even made sure I was positioned right.

Being able to show up when you can and self tour the distillery is a true mega perk in a place where everything seems to be scheduled. Let's you have a bit of freedom. The distillery is a fun walk but then you get to taste 6 rums for a pretty great price. Leia was amazing! She made the tasting fun and a memorable experience. If you like rum, or tastings of any kind of spirits, a definite must.

It probably goes without saying that if you are a fan of Rum this is a must do visit. Our guided tour was exceptionally informative and Rum tasting was the highlight of my visit to Barbados. The rum they make at Four Square are top notch and really was impressed by the exceptional range they produce here. It was excellent to be able to try some of the higher end rums I wouldn't normally get and was blown away with the 10year old RL Seales...my new favourite drink

As a Rum enthusiast, I was disappointed by the visit at Foursquare. No guided tour is organised, but you can tour the distillery on your own. However, you do not get the chance to see closely stills. We had a tasting experience in the shop, which was nice. Unfortunately, none of the special release was available for purchase at the shop. Overall, if you are planning the visit as a rum enthusiast is suggested to call the shop before visiting to ask if the special editions are available for purchase to avoid bad surprises.

**A Must-Visit Rum Distillery in Barbados!** If you're in Barbados and love rum (or just a great experience), this distillery is an absolute gem. They offer free access to visitors, allowing you to explore the fascinating rum-making process firsthand. The best part? You get to enjoy free samples of their exceptional rum, which truly showcases the craftsmanship and tradition of Barbadian rum-making. The staff is incredibly welcoming and knowledgeable, eager to share insights about the history and production of their rum. The atmosphere is vibrant, and the tour is both educational and enjoyable. Whether you're a rum enthusiast or just looking for a fun and unique activity, this distillery is a must-see. Highly recommended!
