Fourth Trimester Postnatal Retreat

I recently attended an infant CPR/choking class and was thoroughly impressed with the experience. The instructor, Katie, was incredibly knowledgeable and conveyed life-saving information in a clear, concise, and engaging manner. The hands-on practice sessions were invaluable, allowing us to build confidence in our ability to respond to emergencies. The class was well-organized, informative, and left me feeling empowered and prepared. I highly recommend this class to all parents, caregivers, and anyone who spends time with infants. It's an essential investment in safety and peace of mind.

We’ve now done two sessions of 4T at home—baby wearing and infant CPR/choking. As a first time mom, I cannot begin to explain the peace of mind/confidence it has given me to work with Katie. I was super nervous to baby wear and mess up my daughter’s hips (lol FTM problems), but Katie went through everything and adjusted my husband and my carriers and gave me the confidence to wear her and get my hands back. By the end of the session, my daughter was snoozing and i was able to get things done! Katie came back to do CPR and choking. What was great about it was that for most classes you have to pay per person, so for each parent and caretaker. Katie was able to come to our home, so we were able to get our babysitter trained along with us, which was awesome. Just love everything 4T is about. Moms need more support and we just love that a place like 4T is in the area. Megan and Katie are the best and have gone above and beyond to make us feel supported—even helping me with my registry before i was even a client. We are so so grateful for them!

I love 4T! Katie and Megan came to my home (super convenient) to meet my 2 month old and me. Katie adjusted our breastfeeding positions for more comfortable and quicker feeding sessions. They also demonstrated several options for baby-wearing. I literally put away my baby carriers the morning before 4T came because they weren't comfortable to use, and now we use them every day! As a new mom, you're doing the best you can but you don't know what you don't know. There were so many pointers 4T had in areas that I didn't even know could be improved. Highly recommend!

Katie is awesome! She's incredibly knowledgeable and takes extra time and care when working with us. Regardless of the question, Katie always has an answer, be it a direct response or a resource to learn more. It's clear that Katie is very passionate about her work and has a deep understanding of the field. She helped us curate our registry by not only filling in the gaps we left, but also helped us to understand why certain items were better than others. I highly recommend Katie and hope to continue utilizing her excellent services in the future!

As soon as I heard about Fourth Trimester, I signed up immediately for postnatal care for my second-born. Every mother can definitely benefit from this. The staff was exceptional and so was the food. I absolutely loved the spa and was grateful for the special care and attention to detail. Their response time to your requests were also superb. Love love love Katie, Megan and Fran! 10/10 rating in terms of having all my postnatal needs met. Worth every penny!

My wife and I were fortunate enough to spend three nights with the team at 4th Trimester Postnatal Retreat right after welcoming our first child. Becoming a parent is transformational, and yet the level of care and guidance offered to new parents in the United States is truly abysmal. 4T rectifies this issue by providing education, support, comfort, and care to help the transition into parenthood flow more smoothly. I am certain that without our time with 4T, we would be FLAILING with all that comes with new parenthood. While at the retreat, we enjoyed three nutritious meals a day, 1:1 educational content around CPR, baby wearing, and lactation, a mental health/therapy session, infant care specialists who cared for our baby over night so we could rest, and more. We came into the retreat feeling very overwhelmed and exhausted, and left feeling prepared and hopeful for the next steps in our parenthood journey. Not only that, but we have continued access to the amazing team for any questions we may have as we grow into parenthood. I truly cannot thank the team enough for the time and dedication and everything they put into this experience for us. Plainly put: Every birthing person should have this level of postpartum care. 4T is exceptional. I would HIGHLY recommend it to any and everyone welcoming a new baby.

The tips/tricks/and lessons we learned from Katie at Fourth Trimester have been SO KEY! We've brought home all of her wisdom and feedback. From baby carrying to sleep to feedings (both bottle and breast) to troubleshooting... it's all incredibly valuable information that is already helping us in caring for our baby. We are feeling so grateful to have Katie and the Fourth Trimester staff in our corner now with all of her/their incredible knowledge, experience, and affirmation. Additionally, being pampered and cared for and fed well at the hotel was such a boost. We are relieved to go home with a more hands-on lesson in CPR and feeling like we truly understand how and when. It was very comforting to see how comfortable our infant was with the staff, too, and nice to have the additional help with her. I'm sure I'll continue to recall all of the valuable things we gained from our time with the staff and at this retreat. And I'll never forget that first night of sleep and how well our baby did! I also continue to replay Megan's voice in my head— her empathy and affirmation stuck with me and sustained me in those vulnerable days. Lastly, we are so thankful for the therapist Fran's kindness, care, and compassion in our therapy session! We were not able to stay as long as they suggested, so most of our stay was packed with classes which made day 2 a little overwhelming. So, I DO think that their 3 day minimum is a perfect requirement because otherwise it might not be as relaxing and rejuvenating for a postpartum family. I do think the cost would be quite prohibitive for most of our friends and people within our community. We were able to do it because of the discount we received. I think the value is certainly worth the cost-- far and beyond-- but I can see the cost keeping our community in particular from accessing these services. But this would be a good gift or something to put on someone's registry. Again we are so grateful for this experience and would absolutely recommend it to any and all postpartum families. The value really is worth it!

I see 2 providers from 4th trimester! Katie and Frances are EXTRAORDINARY! Frances has helped me greatly during my pregnancy and still helping after delivering. She is Intentional in her listening and ready to provide her guidance and advise. It was an instant clock for me with her- and I so appreciate the time we spend each week. She had provided practical tools and reinforced me when I’ve needed it. I recommend her with no reservations. Katie is my lactation consultant. When Myla was born, she had a very instinctive string latch and although I had some tools- I was lost and raw. It was very painful. She came to my home and while Myla was feeding she provided live direct feedback- she was immediately able to see what the problem was and on the spot fixed the issue providing immediate relief to me. She offered a few other options, gave me a course on pumping and explained everything in A very detailed way. I have absolutely no reservations in recommending 4T at home! They TRULY are the best out there- Happy to answer any questions if needed! :)
