Called in here whilst taking the scenic route from holiday, ordered a full English breakfast which was huge and was delivered with fruit juice. The day was extremely wet and the open fire was welcome, especially for drying our wet rain coats. I would certainly recommend this place.

We were holidaying in Devon in a large party group of 35 bikers. In advance of the weekend away we contacted the café to see if they could accommodate our large group. There was no hesitation, in advance we were sent a menu and a pre order was placed. On arrival there was plenty of space for us all to sit close to each other and the food came out promptly. Fantastic food served in a lovely location, is a nice friendly manner, and no issues with serving a large group.

Our journey to the Eden Project took an unexpected, delightful detour when we stumbled upon this gem! Seeking a quick respite, we decided to indulge in their cream teas, and what a culinary experience! The scones were warm, fluffy, rich and velvety. Honestly, some of the absolute best we’ve ever had. For anyone seeking a taste of authentic Cornish perfection, this is an absolute must-stop.

Visited recently for Breakfast, prompt service albeit it a little abrupt - could be a little more friendly and welcomong. Partner had Large Breakfast, I opted for Small Breakfast, both came with a juice and hot drink. Bacon was very tasty. Obviously a popular choice for those on DofE training weekends. Dog friendly - there were lots of dogs in the cafe on our visit - we were probably the only table without a four legged companion.

What a lovely place in Princetown to have lunch. The food was delicious the welcome was warm. My baguette was served warm, yummy. The place has accommodation and a car park. Great place to eat.

Derek and the team were fantastic during my stay - the bunkhouse was warm and comfortable and great for a single traveller provided they don’t mind sharing. I stayed during the massive snow dump in November so couldn’t get out too much. Frustrating but the cafe was spot on too!

We had 30 minutes to spare between the cafe opening and a bus we needed to catch for a hike and this lovely place fed us a brilliant full English vegan breakfast and prepared us delicious sandwiches with vegan cheese and pickle to take with us for the day. Absolute life savers as we had more or less run out of food by this point on our trip. Lovely friendly service, delicious food, great value and so happy to see great vegan options. Definitely pop in if you're in the area ✨

We stopped for a cream tea, like you do in Cornwall, but decided that we would prefer a savoury lunch. I was very happy with my choice. The service was fine but I felt like I was just next in the queue rather than being welcomed with a smile. The food was promptly served and obviously freshly cooked.

Yelp
Love this little cafe and regularly visit. Nice bit plates of food with a great selection of hot meals, cold sandwiches etc and cakes. The all day breakfast is immense. Cream teas, hot chocolates. Dartmoor souvenirs. Proper logs fires in the winter and a lovely outside seating area for the summer. Parking.

Yelp
I have to give these guys 5 stars for saving my life. The sun had long set and it was painfully cold by the time I reached their cafe from a hike to King Tor. There were no customers and they were already cleaning up and shutting down for the night when I asked if they'd be ok with seating me for a cream tea. Everything in town was closed, I was half frozen solid and still waiting for a bus. They thankfully obliged. Their tea itself was pretty standard, but the devonshire cream was amazing. The gooey-est and freshest of any devon creams i had sampled in England. They say they get it from a near by farm. I would make a trip to Princetown just for that cream tea again.
