Only cafe on the island, so obviously a busy place. The cafe doesn’t have any ambience, but the outside views are insane of the island. Cocktails were ok. Food was good, which was pricey. They do offer vegetarian options.

Pretty decent! A little pricey but considering it’s in an island you’ve got to expect that! Beautiful views. Chill vibe!!

Not a must-see… but the only “cheaper” place on the island. Honestly the only good part about this bar was the staff, they were kind, smiley and amazing. The supervisor made sure we were having a great time the whole night. I came here with a small group and we were staying on the island with the expectation of having a great night the two nights we were here BUT we were kicked out so early even when we had JUGS OF ALCOHOL still on our table… this was at 8:30pm. Two other LARGE groups were told to leave as well as two couples… It was advertised as a 9pm closing time, we wanted to at least finish what we had purchased. A place like this should be allowing their guests to have fun in the bar/cafe until at least 9:30-10:00pm on a beautiful island, but no. 8:30pm get out, not the staff’s fault, but this needs to be drastically looked at by management to keep customers who would have spent more money too. Food was average for the extreme price you pay. Other reviews have posted the menu. Nearly $30 for a basic burger and chips. Alcohol selection is big and they offer jugs of some great sunshine-coast brewed cocktails.

I really like the feel of the bar. The last time I came here it was great. The staff are friendly and helpful. Unfortunately on busy days like today it seems there were not enough staff to handle what should be a normal busy Sunday during holiday season. The biggest concerns from today are the food was overcooked. We ordered a bowl of chips and a garlic bread. At $9 for chips and $9 for garlic bread we expected it to be good quality resort style food. The chips were nearly burnt in a box. The garlic bread was handed to me wrapped in foil as I would have bought it from Cole’s for $1. It was terribly dried out and not able to be eaten. The next issue I have is that there were signed everywhere talking about Sunday surcharged. In a lot of industries a surcharge for Sunday or public holiday are reasonable. If you work in a resort where your prices are already well above those charged anywhere else, the cost of wages for these days should already be taken into account. Your industry relies on weekend and public holiday customers so charging yet another surcharge on top of your $9 for a $1 Cole’s garlic bread, and $9 for a cardboard box of $1 worth of chips is quite esteemed.

tastes decent but $67 for a plate of burger and fish and chips?!!!!! 15% surcharge on Sunday????? SCAM Let’s not forget a can of coke was more expensive than a fine dining glass bottle of coke (and we all know coke tastes the best in a glass bottle).

Popped in for some cocktails this afternoon and were certainly happy! We did read some negative reviews online but thought we would give it a go. One of our kids has allergies so asked the bar staff if it was ok for them to eat food which we brought in (signs said no BYO). They were more than happy for us to do that. Drinks were slightly expensive but were pretty solid. Ultimately for the location it’s certainly worthwhile. Whilst we didn’t eat any food the meals looked plentiful and of quality. Views were fabulous back over the bay. We stayed inside as it seemed to rain for at least 5 minutes each hour. Definitely give it a go if your on the island!

Food was good, service was good and the location is amazing of course! Prices are a rip and the food wasn’t the best but still, not too bad for what it is and considering they have to boat ingredients in to the island.

Excellent. Turquoise water, bikini sheilers, beer and awesome tucker. We love this place. Snorkel the reef and walk 20 metres to the pub with swim gear on or off. It's a yearly adventure at least. Fitzroy Island is definitely a gem off Cairns. Even the locals don't overly know this place, which is good because we don't want everyone here.
