"Foys Kirribilli & The Flying Bear at the Sydney Flying Yacht Squadron, Neutral Bay Kirribilli Crows Nest by Born & Raised. Definitely one of Sydney’s best kept secrets, Foys Kirribilli revives Australia's oldest open boat sailing club with its modern Australian restaurant, and adjoining café ‘The Flying Bear’. Head down for some afternoon drinks and live music while the sun goes down, taking in awesome harbour views from the rustic deck."

Our evening at Foys Kirribilli was superb. The excellent service, led by manager Pramod, created a welcoming atmosphere that was perfect for our gathering. Thanks to the fresh seafood and a great drink selection, the meal felt vibrant and well-rounded. A single overcooked steak was a minor flaw, but as it was handled gracefully, it did not detract from our experience. The restaurant's lively yet relaxed vibe makes it an ideal weekday spot, and we will definitely be returning.

Right by the water with good view especially when the sun is setting. The server seemed rushed keep coming by to take the order when we were not ready, then whe we were ready no one was around to take the order for a while. They have set menus and the day I visited they had live music.

Fantastic location on the water next to Milson Park, extensive wine list and top notch beers and cider. Enjoy fine dining upstairs or head downstairs and sit right on the water taking in the relaxed summer atmosphere, we also enjoyed some great live music on Sunday, loved it and will definitely return

The magic 🎩 ✨️ 💛 views of Kiribilli are fabulous 👌 but I can't say the best for pricing on the Seafood platter for 2 as cold on cold/hot fare and $130 for oily coated falling off squid 🦑, prawns 🦐 weren't crisp and didn't taste like the sea 🌊. Probably frozen "Vannamai prawns " but the oyster okay. Salad was just lettuce 😋 and I'm not a rabbit 🐇. Surely TJ I believe was cooked as I know 😅 for breakfast/lunch/dinner. Weed control solutions sometimes require more focus. Fantastic service 👏 until you are manhandled by the event 👏 😀 manager for not knowing 🙄 the facts and truth. I might go back. 1 star 🌟 review and 32-years experience as an executive chef 👨‍🍳.

Went during a ceremony event, nice venue but wait staff was lacking, no enthusiasm and wasn’t very proactive, fingers on plates, consolidating food into one platter with bare hands and slow to respond , very in unprofessional, food was alright not amazing there wagyu skewer had to be called out as just terrible tasted like boiled beef on a stick there chimchuri was an oily mess. Really only redeeming factor was the location. I’ll drop by in a few months time see if they improve Yes I didn’t take photos of the food … it was that bad

My husband and two kids ate at Foys on Sunday for lunch. We shared some entrees like the deliciously fresh pepper seared tuna and the scrumptious tomato Stracciatella and both were delightful. We also shared mains and Osman our servicer was amazing! warm, attentive and friendly.

We had a wonderful afternoon on the verandah. Lovely ambience. Our waitress, Layla, looked after our every need - friendly, knowledgeable and efficient. I even joined the club!

I used to go to the club a lot but moved out of the area so had not been for years. We had some American friends in town and I thought this would be the deal venue for dinner. The weather was perfect. We sat out on the verandah and loved the experience. They have a good range of beers and wines and the prices are not crazy. Fairly good value. The food was excellent. Well cooked, beautifully presented and something for everyone. It's classic pub/bistro food but a little bit better. Prices are reasonable. We were able to sit outside with our friends. Enjoy the view and the ambience. The service is efficient and friendly - but you can also help yourselves.

Yelp
Pregnant ladies - AVOID this place like the plague - they are disrespectful, insulting and rude!!!!! Being pregnant, I had called well in advance of our dinner to make sure my menu was changed so that I could eat a pregnancy safe meal. I spoke with Hayley Snell, the Sales & Events Manager, and she assured me my menu would be as per my request on the day of the dinner. When we got to dinner, nothing came out for me to eat for at least 30 minutes after everyone else's entrees came out. I went and spoke to a short, Italian man who was co-ordinating the wait staff. I explained my situation to him. He said he had no idea what I was talking about, and suggested I order something from their menu - which was different from the set menu I had used to specified my dietary requirements previously. I looked at the menu the Italian guy offered me, and there was not really anything I could eat that would be pregnancy safe. I explained this to him. He asked me why I couldn't eat anything on the menu. Then this is what blew my mind - I told him again that as per my doctor's advice I couldn't eat the things on the menu. To this he exclaimed "So what if your doctor has said you can't the food. Why can't you eat it?!" At this point I clearly felt insulted and totally disrespected as a pregnant person. I told him that I wanted to speak with Hayley, the Sales & Events Manager, with whom I had spoken with well in advance of the dinner to make sure the menu would be ok. The Italian guy lied to my face, and told me Hayley wasn't there. It was much later, about 45minutes after all the entrees had arrived, and I still had nothing to eat, that I asked another wait staff for Hayley, and I was finally able to speak with Hayley. She reassured me that the chef knew about my dietary requirements and my food would be out "shortly". It took another 20 minutes before I finally got an entree to eat. I had requested some bread with olive oil in the meantime, and had to ask 3 times again before I finally got some bread and olive oil! My mains came out on time, but they messed up my dessert, and put cut fruit, which I had previously told Hayley I could not eat. When I told the wait staff this, they were annoyed with me. I finally got some pretty average dessert. To anyone who is pregnant, avoid this place like the plague. They are rude and disrespectful, and clearly don't give a damn about feeding a pregnant lady on time and safely. Had I known ahead of time, I would have never come to this terrible place! And to that rude, unprofessional Italian man who mistreated me - get an education you idiot! You're in hospitality, and it is your job to know and respect different dietary requirements people have!

Yelp
First of all, I want to talk about the coffee shop downstairs; the Flying Bear. You access thru the park, it is mostly open space on a deck in the bay of Sydney Harbour; very relaxing and peaceful views. Coffee and juice are great, the breakfast options are ok but the lunch options need some improvements; Then you have Foys upstairs. Open dining room, with an outside balcony, same beautiful views and at night access to the deck downstairs (where the coffee shop is open during the day) to enjoy drinks and your meal next to the water. The menu is very generous. We love the zucchini flowers, seafood platters and barramundi. By the way, it is located in the oldest open boat sailing club of Sydney. Sweet ! you can watch the boats sailing off on Saturday around 1:00 PM during the summer!
