Frama is an internationally recognised design brand, so I had high hopes for their “Structure of Living” exhibition during 3 Days of Design. I registered for an e-pass and was genuinely excited to visit, but the experience turned out to be disorganised and disappointing. Guests from the café were entering freely, while others queued outside with no clear guidance.
After exploring the main exhibition space, a staff member suggested I visit the adjacent space, located next to the café. I followed a group in, unaware of the floor signage pointing to the room which was completely blocked by the crowd. Once upstairs, a woman abruptly told me it was a private event, without stopping or speaking to me properly. It felt dismissive and unnecessarily cold.
Another staff member later explained and kindly guided me back to the correct room, which I appreciated. Still, the overall atmosphere lacked the warmth, clarity and hospitality one would expect from a brand of this calibre.
A disappointing experience from a studio known for its thoughtful design.
