I was amazed at the quality of the work they did for me! I brought 6 items in all different types of work to be done, reframing new things into old frames, new frames on never framed before items, to putting new matting on existing frames. Everything came out spectacular. Diane and Max were so professional. It made me feel good about Customer Service again! Dave and his employees exemplifies what Customer Service should be! I never thought I'd be the kind of person who could afford custom framing but Frame Center is so affordable! Every single person there is extremely helpful, knowledgeable, and friendly. They do NOT try to upsell you, if anything they let you know how you can save money. I do intricate cross stitching, which after 200+ hours of work is hard to trust in the hand of someone else, but they have knocked it out of the park several times. It's always straight and even, which my OCD appreciates, and they give me excellent recommendations on frame size/color to complement without overpowering the piece. I HIGHLY recommend them! My photos are focused on the stitching so I wish i had better ones of the frames themselves because they are all gorgeous in person.

I brought a few photos in and wanted to get a nice mat and frame. The people who work here are so helpful. My photos look absolutely fantastic. Highly recommend!!

Had a wonderful experience coming into the shop to purchase a custom frame mat. The employee who helped me was knowledgable, kind, and knew exactly what I wanted! Was delighted by all the color options and the turnaround speed.

Frame Center came highly recommended, and I can see why. Their staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive, their pricing is extremely reasonable, and their turnaround time is very quick. I've used them for framing, reframing, and restoration work, and for each project I felt like my items were in expert hands. They clearly take pride in the quality of their work. After a few months of searching for the right piece to go behind my sofa.... I purchased the canvas print and then visited the Frame Center. I worked with Scott who was suggesting colors and types of frame, matted or no matte, glass or no glass. After looking over several type frames my eyes picked the one! I'll hang it tomorrow. Not my 1st time using The Frame Center and I'm sure not the last. Wonderful and Professional.

Exceptional experience at The Frame Center. Went in with a toddler and a baby, patience and friendliness from all employees, Max helped me pick out frames and recommended excellent ones saving me time. I like to think i have good taste with these things and went in expecting to choose the frames but he presented great ideas that I chose from. The turnaround was less than 24 hours I was so happy to get my frames before an overnight guest came the next day (this is not always the case! Usually a couple weeks i am told). The pictures came out so good and the man checking me out was incredibly personable. My photos and art were complimented from what felt like trained eyes. I thought it was a little more expensive than what I am used to paying at the framer I used to go to in West Roxbury but I understand it's a business and I will return. Thank you!!

I walked into the Frame Center without making an appointment, which they now prefer. There were no other customers there so the man working in the main room took care of me soon after I came in. I made quick decisions about how I wanted the painting framed. He found what I wanted and had me out the door in about 15 minutes. He told me it should be done within 2 weeks. The next day I received an email that it was done. They also sent a picture of the finished product. Looked great. Unfortunately I was out of town when it was finished and I haven't seen it in the flesh yet. But the service, advice and speed were a surprise and a gift.

I purchased 7 or 8 paintings, colleages and photos over the years and needed go get them framed. I knew it was going to be an investment so I bided my time until recently. I went to the Frame Center conveniently located near Twins Convenience store/ the Hanover Transfer station. I wasn't sure what to expect but the woman working there (didn't catch her name but nose ring, glasses and colored hair- so helpful!) was a huge help and has an artist's eye. I showed her the pics and gave some ideas re what I might like but said I was open to suggestions, too. She recommended frames that really worked well with my pieces (some were unexpected and great and I liked better than my idea!) and didn't detract from them. They have space upstairs with discounted frames and a small galley with local artists. They require half of the cost up front and you pay the balance when the framing is completed. Also, if some of the works are originals from artists of some value (I had one from a Rockport artist), let them know because if the work is signed on the back, they won't alter the pic and will lay it flat against something in the frame. It took less than a week to complete. It was about $410 up front and $410 remaining balance that I paid. They show you each completed piece and even provide gratis hanging hardware such as hooks and fasteners. The frames are high quality and the customer service is a huge help! I will certainly be back.

Had a shadow box created and a 24x8 picture framed. They picked out Matting to match both and my wife thought they looked great, that's really my only bar. Service was prompt and friendly, will go back for ANY framing I need

Had a great experience trying to find a hard to match frame. I went to probably seven other frame stores, with various levels of assistance (and none were willing to look beyond the stock that was in the showroom)....none came close to the time and assistance l received from Dawn at the Frame Center, in Hanover. In the end, she found exactly the right frame. This isn't my first time using this frame store and I would recommend them to anyone. Consistently good service and excellent products.

I arrived at Frame Center this morning to have something framed. I held the door for a women who arrived at the same time, knowing that she would go in and be served ahead of me. Not a big problem. She was asked if she had an appointment...she said "No I didn't know you needed one" The reply came "No big deal come on in" The other women that was working there asked if I was picking something up. I replied "No I am here to have something framed" She asked: "Do you have an appointment?" Like the woman ahead of me I replied "No, I don't, I didn't know that I needed one" Her response was: "Well I will give you an appointment for another day if that is the case" Mind you, the women ahead of me was only ahead of me because I stopped and waited and held the door for her. At this point the women I let in said : "Accuse me, but this man was actually ahead of me, he stopped and held the door for me" The women replied "Sorry nothing I can do, it's policy, he will need to make an appointment" The women I let in looked at me with horror that she was being taken right in without an appointment, while I was being sent away. I'm not sure at what point the will realize that they are losing business with this approach but just be aware they aren't doing anyone any favors, especially themselves. I took my money to another frame place that I wasn't asked if I had made an appointment BEWARE !!!

I've been having artwork framed here for as long as they've been open, and never thought to review. From a high-end job of framing original pastels, acrylics, or needlework, to a simple frame for a poster or photograph, the service and attention to detail is always exceptional. Most recently, we brought in a very large acrylic painting done by my son's girlfrend. We wanted something simple that wouldn't compete with the piece itself. Despite our very modest price range and simple concept, we had a multitude of choices for a simple black frame - choice of material, texture, width, depth. The staff worked patiently with us and helped us make the best possible choice.

You guys are amazing - I needed something with a tight turnaround time, and you nailed it! Per usual. And as always, leaving some of the creative things to you guys like frame width and mat width, etc., worked out great. I really appreciate your work. Thank you! Highly recommend.

I went to Michael's who wanted to charge me $300-$500 to frame $30 poster print! And that was with their "coupons!" I called the Frame Center and they told me they had a wall of frames for $80... I went in, they were SO helpful and efficient, and it really did cost $80 for a beautiful frame! They had it done in a week, as promised, and when I picked it up they carried it out to my car for me too since I had my baby with me. I will not go anywhere else in the future!

I had my initial reservations about going here, as my experience has taught me that a mom and pop shop tends to charge a bit more. So I ended up going to A.C. Moore with their enticing custom framing coupons. I can personally assure you that regardless of the percentage offered, it's still extremely expensive at A.C. Moore and the work is not done on site, it's outsourced to NYC and it takes 2 inexcusably pathetic two weeks. That counter at A.C. Moore is just for show. Naively, I went there and paid a fairly absurd amount of money to get some custom framing done. However, I had one poster that I really loved and with the 57% off coupon I had from said mega retail giant, they were still going to charge me $237.00. Had it not been for that coupon, I would've been paying close to $500.00! On a whim, I finally decided to go to Frame Center with a coupon they offered. When all was said and done: I still got a nice frame that was appropriate for the poster, it was done in five days AND it only cost me 80 bucks! Since then, I've been a regular at this store and gotten all my custom framing done here, and here only. I've gotten posters custom framed, magazines and newspapers with much of the work promised as being five days and more often than not, they're done less. When you walk in, there's a variety of frames that they offer, which can easily fit whatever you want if you should choose to use the coupon from their website. They can do all sorts of great work and they'll give you an honest opinion of what the best frame is, with whatever work you want framed. Staff is extremely knowledgeable and extremely friendly and extremely professional. If you want to get your stuff custom framed and you live in the south shore area, go straight to this place.

All I have to say is WOW!!!! The service is incredible. The staff knows alot about framing and are willing to help you pick out the right materials to stay within your budget. They did not try to up sell me on anything like other framing places to. The prices are very reasonable and beat the chain store framing places by a mile. The speed of framing service was incredible. I brought a print in to be framed on a Monday and they called me on Tuesday afternoon telling me it was done. Could not believe it. They exceeded my expectations and I will be bringing all my future framing business to them.

Staff at the frame Center are kind and helpful. I am a professional photographer, and I send all of my clients to the Frame Center to have their prints matted and framed. I receive many compliments from my clients on the quality of work the Frame Center produces.

My husband always takes our art, photos, etc. to the Frame Center but I had lots of errands to run that day so I printed coupons for Michael's Crafts and the Frame Center. Michael's was inside the route I was running for errands that day so I brought my piece into the store. She told me the frame would cost $143 and that included me giving them the piece of glass! I told her that I had a coupon and she said that the price included the coupon. I showed them the coupon from the Frame Center because it says that they match prices. But oh, they don't match prices for the Frame Center???? Needless to say I headed to the Frame Center. Had a wonderful experience as always AND the cost was $48 with a NEW piece of glass!!! Hello!! Never again will I worry about going out of my way to bring something to the Frame Center. So worth it. The framed item looks great! Thanks very much for your help, expertise and low cost for high quality work!

I have been taking my best art and family photos in for framing for at least fifteen years. My experience with them is consistently great! I've worked with Chris, whose eye for 'what works' is very agreeable to me. She is patient and offers lots of options. Ive also worked with Dave and happy with results. In all, they take pride in their work and deliver a quality product!

I had my daughter's bib number and medal from the Boston Marathon framed window box style at Frame Center. We worked together to make it something she would cherish for years to come. It came out fantastic! She was absolutely speechless when she unwrapped it. The framed finish product now has a special place in her home. Thanks to the staff at Frame Center for doing a fabulous job. I'd never use any other shop!
