I wish I could give them 50 stars! Absolutely beautiful work. Fantastic customer service and amazing prices. Andy is usually at the counter and amazing at his job. I just had a framing job that was ASAP and it was done in 4 hours!!!!!!!!!! I probably shouldn't mention that as I'm amazed they were able to do it and it'd be unlikely it'd be possible most of the time.

Awesome!!!! I have used them for years. My husband & I sent a rare Miles Davis poster from Ohio because I had so much confidence in their work. It hangs beautifully in our home to this day! My son lives in Los Angeles. I am going to introduce him to their service tomorrow.

The best framing shop in Los Angeles as far as I'm concerned. They take pride in their work and will make sure you are happy. They will also guide you in case you aren't sure how to frame a photo, painting or certificate. The prices are extremely reasonable. Turnaround can be a bit long but it's always worth it.

My mother had some high end photography framed here. We are now trying to sell the pieces at auction and found that the pieces were actually glued to the mat when framed. This is unheard of and makes all of them worthless. Their incompetence will cost us about $12,000. Please don't bring anything valuable here to be framed.

I've been framing artwork here for years. They take awhile, but the results are always fantastic and it's very reasonable!

For the price point They are the hands down the BEST ... I have never been disappointed but you must be prepared to wait at least 3 weeks.....

Like all the reviews say. Very professional and friendly. Had my frame fixed in a week and for a very fair price. Plan on using them again. Street parking was super easy.

Great customer service. Very talented staff. Prices are very reasonable. They were able to restore and frame a silk embroidery piece that was strangely framed from a "flea market" stand in China. My husband negotiated for it in China. The artwork was beautiful but we knew the frame was odd. We couldn't afford the pieces in the gallery in China. Frame House Design was great. The artwork is now properly restored and framed. Our favorite piece. They also framed some scrolls that we purchased. We are so pleased. Beautiful work.

I saw a second-hand poster about twenty years ago at the Rose Bowl flea market. I didn't buy it on the spot because I didn't want to carry it around, thinking I could buy it at a future time. It took me until now to find another copy that didn't cost thousands of dollars. So when it came time to frame it, the Framing House Design was my first thought. The Framing House has framed almost every piece of artwork I have in my house. I'm so glad I found them again after their move to the current location. Andy listens carefully, and approaches his craft with an expertise that is tailored to the art and what you want. Accommodating and quality work. They've got my loyalty.

Best framers in my experience. My go to for all poster sizes and custom print photo frames. You walk in, choose the frame color and type and they do the rest! Easy as 1-2-3. They've been in business for a very long time and moved locations to a larger building. Outstanding workmanship all around. Frame completion takes anywhere from 2-6 weeks depending on how busy they are.

They're legit and to the point. I'm sure if you ask for assurance of how they're mounting your art they will let you know. They may not be the quickest but they're affordable and good quality.

Great customer service and lovely work! We had a few different pieces to be framed and Andy listened to my ideas for them and was very thoughtful in presenting what would be was best for each of them. Their prices are also very reasonable given the quality of how everything turned out. We're very happy to have found a new framer. They do everything with excellence and care, remember you when you come in, and have great advice on choosing frames. Best place in LA to get a high quality frame. Andy is such a kind and friendly guy. I've gotten a couple paintings framed here and it's definitely the best quality and best price I've found in the area. Turn around time is usually pretty quick as they try their best to work with your schedule and needs. This is the only place I'll go to get my art framed from now on!

A minimum of 12 week turnaround time. And they don't answer their phones, so you waste a trip and parking fees. I guess you can be too good for business??

Not only do they give us more than fair prices, I appreciate their honesty when they feel like they can't do something the way we envision it turning out. They are very solution oriented and will help guide you on the best way to frame your art without ruining the piece itself. For folks griping about the long-lead time, tell them when you drop your art off if you need it by a certain time and they'll let you know what is realistic. COMMUNICATION folks, don't just assume they'll have it in a week. Let's support this family-owned small business. They have been around for years and are so good at what they do!

Andy is the man. Gorgeous work and creative sensibility. Expensive but no more so than other framing houses. My buddy Nick has some retro bauhaus posters that are AMAZING, i asked him where they were framed / mounted and he said I had to go to Andy. i'll never go anywhere else.

Hello Yelpers! I hope this review finds you all well and safe. I took four pieces to The Framing House to be cleaned lol just kidding I took them to be framed! And they came out perfectly. Though it was a bit of a wait because of well the pandemic, it was worth it! Now my apartment feels like a home again after the big heartbreaking break up! All four pieces were a total of $350 with a deposit of half. The rest I paid when I picked them up. Parking is easy in the parking lot or out front.

Yes yes 10000x yes!!!! They have framed +20 pieces of art in my home. Most recently I took in handmade postcards from my great grandmother and they did an amazing job!

I've gotten 10-15 prints, photographs, and paintings framed here over the last few years and have been happy with every single one. The staff is super knowledgeable and helpful and makes great recommendations. Prices are the lowest you'll find and the quality is excellent. The only thing to note is that they have a lot of customers so wait times can be a little long, but given the above, I'm always happy to wait a few extra weeks. They were recently displaced by yet another development project (the new location is just around the corner) so I hope you'll take a chance and help keep this small business going

They had done a nice job on framing my 1800's antique print there. Price was only half of what Michael's had quoted me. They reassured me that that they uses the conservation standard with their framing. Like the job they had done and will go back in the future.

It took a long time to get my pieces framed but they did a great job and were super helpful and friendly throughout the process. I recommend!

If you can spare 6-7 weeks to patiently wait to have your work framed - then there is nowhere that will give you better prices for your framing needs with solidly good quality work. Half the price of your local Michael's framing, and more than half off a place like Aaron Brothers. Here's the skinny: 1. The wait will likely be 6-7 weeks (they have too much business because their prices are fabulous!) 2. Don't lose your invoice (save a pic of the invoice on your phone) - the business will need it to help keep track of what's yours 3. The day before your expected completion date, call the business and ask for an update - don't be surprised if they're behind schedule. 4. don't get uppity if they're behind schedule on framing your painting - you are getting the cheapest rate with exceptional quality! We're lucky this business doesn't just turn away customers because they genuinely have too much business.

AVOID THIS PLACE AND DO NOT BRING ANYTHING OF VALUE HERE. If I can give them no stars I would. We got back our "framed" canvas painting, and it was not done properly and the sides of the the frame was uneven. The store people were not acknowledging it until other customers commented on it. Then when we went to pick it up a second time, we noticed that one of the canvas supports on the back of the painting was broken in half and they tried to staple it back together. The staples pieced right through the canvas damaging the front of the painting. When we told the store people, they said that it was already damaged when we brought it there. There is no way that an artist would staple and pierce through their own art.

I keep coming back. These people know what they are doing with 40 years of experience. Pricing is reasonable and the staff here are the best. They are so sweet and have great input when it comes to framing your art. I trust them 100%. The only downside is the long lead time. But, can you blame them? Totally worth the 12 weeks wait for excellent craftsmanship.

Always great dropping in when I have a poster or painting to get framed. The staff is extremely knowledgeable in the framing business and also appreciates the art I bring to get framed. I would recommended anyone getting top professional work done to bring their valued art here. Prices are very reasonable for the work they do. I have three prints that got framed here and dropping off my 4th one today!
