My family of 4 which includes two teenagers stayed at this hotel twice on our recent trip to Europe and we loved it. We first had a family room on the 6th floor which had two bedrooms and a bathroom. It was roomy for a European hotel, very clean and had great views. It was also very quiet. The second time we had two separate rooms and those were nice also. The staff was very accommodating. It was a great neighborhood with easy access to two metro stations. We also walked home from Montmartre and from Galleries Lafayette. We will stay here again!

The hotel's location was great, and the service was very good. Despite arriving early and checking out later in the day, the staff was helpful with storing our luggage, which we really appreciated. However, when we made the reservation, it was not mentioned that our room would be located on the lowest floor, facing an inner courtyard with no sunlight and a noticeable damp smell. If this had been clearly stated from the beginning, we could have made a more informed choice.

The room was clean, but had carpet that was so-so. Good bed. Fridge didn't work. Breakfast was very simple, had to boil eggs in an egg cooker yourself. Location was very ok for us, used the metro which was close to the hotel. Staff was very nice.

From the moment we stepped inside, we felt safe and welcomed. First of all they had given us an upgrade because I had asked for a quiet room. They gave us room 40 and it was so nice with a huge bathroom! And it was sooooo quiet! Breakfast was delicious and fresh, served with a smile from two very sweet ladies. I would never dream to go and get something at a bar - because here we got fresh fruit, eggs, cheese, juice, coffee, pastries and so on. This was an absolute incredible experience that meant the world to our holiday and I could never see ourselves stay in an other hotel from now on. The hotel is placed on a quiet one way street, but the streets all around are packed with good and original bars, restaurants and shops. You really feel like you ARE in Paris. Thank you !

Really fabulous warm welcome, when we arrived our room was still yet to be cleaned, I could tell she rushed, other than that, the room was nice enough, we were told we had an upgrade ? But I didn't think that was true. Our room was on the front of the hotel, so was out on to the road, so at 6.30am we got woken up by the refuse collection, the room was very comfortable though, and no problems finding it. Breakfast was very nice.

Hotel France Albion is a clean hotel with services that fit our needs. Breakfast was available as desired and there is a grocery store across the street. Staff was kind and helpful. Location is nice because it is in a more residential area so it isn't really touristy. There was a laundry right down the road, restaurants nearby, and metro stops close by. It was a good location to walk to a lot of different sites.

Fabulous for the price. I was staying in Paris for a few days on my own and wanted something affordable. Room was tiny but perfect for what I needed and the price. It was clean and the staff were super friendly. Love this location in Paris.

My experience at this hotel was excellent. The staff were consistently kind and helped me feel relaxed and welcome. Despite my limited ability to speak French or English, they showed great patience and kindness, for which I am truly grateful. I hope to stay here again in the future.

Yelp
As a solo female traveler, I felt 100% safe here. The front door was locked and they opened it from the inside, keeping track of who was trying to come in. The neighborhood was fine and there were metro stations in both directions and a bus stop nearby for easy access to the rest of the city. There is a grocery store across the street which was nice to grab some snacks. The staff was AMAZING. Very helpful and friendly. Their English was top-notch and I got lots of great rec's during my stay for places to eat. The only downside was the size of my room. Don't get a single room. Even if you are traveling alone. Any time I wanted in my suitcase, I had to put it on my bed. There was no room to walk around the room and have the suitcase on the floor. I could store it in the small closet, but not open it. There was a tiny corner desk, but you couldn't put much more than a laptop on it. I would absolutely stay here again, but would pay extra for a double room. They can arrange for someone to pick you up/drop you off at the hotel. It's pricey, but average for the city. Very easy and nice to not have to fight public transportation with my suitcase.

Yelp
It pains me not to give this place 5 stars, because the staff is so delightful. All of the front desk staff spoke English pretty well, which was very helpful when I needed directions or for them to act as a concierge temporarily. They also offered wake-up calls as soon as I got there. I felt pretty well protected as a single female traveling alone because the staff has to let you in after the sun goes down--they take notice who is going in and out! The rooms are very clean and perfect for a business stay. They also have better wifi than some other Paris hotels I have stayed at. However, this hotel is not what I would recommend for anyone who spends a lot of time here, or if you are traveling with companions who share a room with you. The shower curtains are very flimsy (not sure why they don't have a double liner shower curtain), and although having a moveable shower head is amazing, if you spray it the wrong way, you'll have a flood in the bathroom (which happened to me). Not a big deal when you are alone and can move from room to room if you left something on the floor that got wet, but I imagine it would be rough if you had to share space. There is little room to put a large suitcase. I suppose this would be fine if you have a soft duffle/backpack and can utilize the closet, but I ended up having my suitcases blocking my walking path. For breakfast, they charge 10 Euros for a pretty decent spread, but I never actually tried it since they have such a great location. Across the street is the market with fresh OJ, a cheese/fish shop around the corner, etc. I'd rather get out and explore. I also really liked the location since I could walk to the Moulin Rouge/Sacre-Couvre locations I was interested in exploring. It's about a 20 min walk, which is just far enough away to feel safe from the not so nice part of town. Overall, if you are traveling here for business, it's perfect! If you are just passing through and backpacking, it's perfect! If you are staying here for a week and plan on having lots of baggage, splurge a little more and get one of their bigger rooms so you don't get claustrophobic. Room Tip: Get a double bed room even if you are alone so you can have space to walk around and still have room...

Yelp
Really enjoyable! Having come to Paris quite a few times, never staying at the top end hotels, but staying at 2-4 star places, I would say that this is probably the best, most comfortable 2 star hotel I can imagine and would come back. We were here for business meetings and all day meetings, so this puts into perspective my review. Not as a tourist or on a pleasure visit. 1. Area - In the 9th district and a decently long walk to the Louvre / Opera area, this place is completely surround within 2-3 blocks of plenty of restaurants, brassaries and pubs. This makes it an ideal place to hang out and have good food and relax. Not a touristy area, really, but all the places we tried near and around the area was just right. I give it a 4 star for convenience. 2. Metro - The St. George metro is about 1 street away and this makes it very, very convenient to traipsing around. 5 Star 3. Hotel Room - They only had double rooms available and thank god I took it. Nice double bed, firm, space to walk around it great air conditioner, small desk, great lighting and decent bathroom size. All modernized, renovated and while not plush, I would say it is one of the cleaner, modern and convenient rooms I can recall in Paris at this level of hotel. While the bathroom will not have every bottle of lotion, soap and extra fuzzy towels, it is just right. Great lighting. Only issue I would have is the fact that there is very, very limited electrical outlet. So, if you have several things to charge, good luck. good news, there is a quincaillerie (hardware) store one street down from the hotel and it is easy to buy an multiple outlet cord here. Very comfortable. 5 Star 4. Meeting Room - I picked this hotel because they had a meeting room that was quite reasonable for about 300 euro per day. We had enough room for a 9 person u shape setting, with projector, screen, easle and we had enough room to walk around, to expand out and we never felt tight at all. We could have easily had fitted 6 more people, but then it would have felt a bit squeezed. Great air conditioning in the room, highly effective. While not really conducive to having in room eating and beverage service, we did have the hotel coordinate for us a coffee break and have water at the table during the meetings. The service and coordination of this for a low key business meetings amongst colleagues is great and perfect. 5 Star. 5. Breakfast - The hotel has a small cellar on the "-1" floor basement that seats about maybe a maximum of 18 people at various 2 / 4 table settings. While quite small, it is quaint. While it easily fills up and can be hard to find a spot, it is very convenient. They serve cereals, breads, nice confitures, yogurt, scrambled eggs, hot potatoes and ham. They have your normal cheese and cold cuts, coffee, tea and breakfast drinks. Overall, very enjoyable and while not exactly mind blowing, simple and easy. The room came with the meal so that was worth it. 4 Star. 6. Wifi - Free wifi! We had 9 people in meetings all day on computers at a high level on the internet and we had hardly any issues. Even in my room, at the top floor, it worked. Sometimes slow, but worked! Overall, remember this is not a 5 star hotel. It is a 2 star hotel and probably best in its class I would stay here for holiday, longer stays, business stays, any stay. More intimate than the large hotels, and more casual. I like this place alot!!!

Yelp
We loved our stay at this hotel. The staff was extremely friendly and was fluent in English. As with most Paris hotel rooms, this was small but just big enough. We did discover that the hotel front desk is not open 24 hours, so if you plan on going out to the clubs and coming back late, be sure to let the front desk know. The neighborhood is vibrant with a fantastic pastry shop just around the corner. There is a metro train station (St. Georges) less than a block away. If you're looking for a nice room that's a good value in Paris, this is the spot to be.

Yelp
Loved this hotel and would definitely stay here again. Had a single room which was small but quite comfortable and nice size bathroom. Liked that the door to hotel is locked and must have an employee to open. Good safety feature. Close to two metro lines which was so convenient for getting to the sites.
