We had an absolutely wonderful dining experience at Frangente Milano, where everything from the atmosphere to the food and service exceeded our expectations.
To start, we ordered the Roasted sweetbread with lobster, zucchini, and lemon zest, along with the Beef tartare with anchovies, capers, and mullet roe. Both dishes were beautifully plated and packed with flavor. The sweetbread was perfectly cooked—crispy on the outside with a rich, buttery texture inside—complemented by the freshness of the lobster. The beef tartare was equally impressive, with the umami from the anchovies and the briny depth of the mullet roe adding wonderful complexity.
For our main courses, we enjoyed the Milanese-style veal cutlet, the Pork terrine with prawn salad and beef tendon, and the Milanese risotto with saffron and bone marrow. The veal cutlet was outstanding—crispy, golden-brown on the outside, yet incredibly tender and juicy inside, showcasing a perfect balance of texture and flavor. The pork terrine was smooth and rich, beautifully paired with the freshness of the prawn salad. The Milanese risotto was a true highlight—creamy, luxurious, and infused with the delicate aroma of saffron, while the bone marrow added an indulgent richness.
Beyond the exceptional food, what truly set this experience apart was the impeccable service. The entire staff was attentive, professional, and genuinely passionate about ensuring an unforgettable meal. The sommelier’s expertise stood out, as they provided thoughtful wine pairings that elevated each dish. Their knowledge and enthusiasm for wine and cuisine made the experience even more enjoyable.
