"Did you know this is a Montreal -based brand? This menswear maker, specializing in shirts and suits hip professionals actually like to wear, has conquered indie circles all over the world with its web store, but over the past couple of years it has also opened flagship stores in Vancouver and Toronto . The Montreal store was the original, though, and you can soak up that cred in a stylish wood-and-iron shop on Mile End’s Rue Saint-Viateur. You’ll find Frank & Oak’s signature check shirts in both long- and short-sleeve, as well as suits and accessories like ties and a beautiful range of house-designed bags, whose combination of rugged canvas and thick leather has made them a favorite among women, too. Really awful customer service. I placed an order more than a month ago. Go Bolt “delivered” the package in front of my door on a very busy street while I wasn’t home. Obviously there was no package left when I came back home. Since then I messaged their customer service more than 10 times and did receive only one response asking for the proof of delivery (which I provided) and then, never heard back despite another 10 messages. I recommend to Stay Away!

Google
Frank and Oak offers fantastic fashion and exceptional service. Their clothing is stylish and high-quality, and the customer service is top-notch—helpful, friendly, and attentive. Shopping here is always a great experience, and I love the unique, sustainable fashion options they provide. Highly recommend!

Google
What a great experience at the Frank And Oak women's boutique! The style is smart and simplistic with looks ranging from androgynous to more traditionally "feminine." The clothes are on the pricey side, considering they're made overseas, but the quality is decent. The customer service was the best I've ever received in a clothing store. The staff were available, but did not pressure us to buy. They offered friendly, efficient, and informative service. I waited less than 30 seconds at the cash, and the cashier apologized for the wait. A big thank you to Camille whose amazing customer service turned a skeptic into a buyer!

Google
I haven't been to the store, but I've been ordering online about once every month. I LOVE their clothing and their customer service. TOP NOTCH! This is a MEMBERS-ONLY Clothing brand/store. Don't wanna sign up? GOOD! More for me. As a Hunt Club member, I love my 8% back on all purchases, and only lures me into buying even more cool clothing, for cheaper. Once you make your first purchase, you're pretty much getting discounts on everything you buy after. I would say "highly recommended", but I'd like to keep the greatness to myself! Sizing is a bit tight/small, but everyone should be able to fit their normal sizes. I find the quality of the clothing top notch. NONE of my clothes have any fading, loose stitching, loose buttons, or anything like that after several washes.

Google
This place is great! I buy almost exclusively my clothes at Frank and Oak. I live the quakity, the style and the value. I get compliments on my clothes very often now! And I love that they ship your clothes for at home try-on. The round trip shipping is free if you're an elevate (what used to be the hunt club) member!

Google
Great store. Had the assistant prepare my summer wardrobe and had a blast while doing so. Style and fit is perfect but quality is just a bit below its price point. Lots of loose threads here and there but overall good feel

Google
Extremely bad experience with this company. Ordered clothes, they charged my credit card but NEVER sent the clothes. I have repeatedly emailed them about this with absolutely no reply. Would never recommend them to anyone. I have reported their practice to the credit card company to try to get my money back.

Jeffrey Storey

Google
Ordered a few things from them expecting designer quality but sadly the overall quality wasn't worth how much you pay. The shirts were great at first but the necks on them quickly stretched out. I followed proper washing instructions but they faded and shrank to a child's size from a size medium. Pants have been ok so far but not worth $90

Yelp
This review is only for the fact that they have a coffee bar. I was stoked to find out that I can roll in here, grab a coffee, meander around the shop. My cappuccino was easily the best one I had in Montreal during my trip. They focus on local roasters, and make a delightful cup of joe. Also, very friendly. Since this is just for the coffee, and not the shop...giving 4 stars. But, the coffee is 5 stars!

Yelp
I was quite frustrated and disappointed with my first purchase here. I wanted to try the brand out so I ordered online to try on some items i liked but when i went to return i found out i could not return them anymore. The return period is only 15 days!! It is retail standard everywhere else for it to be 30 days or more. I wanted to give this brand a chance and now im stuck having paid for items that don't even fit me! ON TOP of this, the clothes came all wrinkled and mashed in the box! As a first time customer, this has left me reluctant to ever order from the brand again.

Yelp
What a horrendous company. Never order from them online or even in person. If they cannot invest in any kind of customer service, do not purchase from here.

Yelp
FRANK AND OAK IS AN ABSOLUTE SCAM. Like the other reviews, I was charged $300 without my consent, I wasn't even mad about that then. I didn't even open the box and returned it right away. What I'm mad about is that I "Ordered" February 26th, they received the return March 6th, and it is April 24th and I still have not been issued a refund. Their "online customer service" is an absolute joke and take days to answer. I was FINALLY answered on April 14th saying they didn't know why my refund hadn't been issued yet and apologized and I would get it in 3-5 days. On the website it even says "refund issued." (IT HASN'T) I have tried contacting customer service via twitter, facebook, and email and I am getting ignored. DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY IT IS AN ABSOLUTE SCAM!

Yelp
Horrible... you cannot unsubscribe from their Style Plan... and they charge you 25 $ a month for their "Stylist"... You get no clothes in return... nice... Never buy from them!

The A.

Yelp
I strongly recommend not using mail order due to thir restrictive return policy. True you have 15 days to return a product but the clock starts running when they ship. This leaves no buffer for shipping delays. If you are in the US you might not get your package for 2 weeks which allows no time for busy schedules or travel.

Yelp
Update: Finally, I was able to speak with someone. For those of you who are also trying to cancel your My Style Plan Box subscription, the representative provided this link: https://www.frankandoak.com/profile/styleplan-optout I would give it 0 stars if I could. DO NOT sign up for this subscription box. You will regret it. Their customer service is terrible. I signed up for the My Style Plan Box then decided to cancel it. There is absolutely NO way to cancel the subscription box online. I have sent 2 emails, 1 Facebook message and tried to use the Online Chat method and have had NO responses. I had to dig and dig to find a customer service number that works and even then I have been on hold for an eternity. For those of you as frustrated as me, the "customer service" number is: 1-855-376-5625. Hope this helps!

Yelp
Frank & Oak is a Montreal-based online shop that now has several local and international brick-and-mortar stores (there's actually one out in the Adams Morgan area in DC!). Owned by two friends, Ethan Song and Hicham Ratnani, this men's store offers a variety of shirts, sweaters, t-shirts, shorts, blazers, suits, outwear, shoes, boot, accessories, wallets, and bags. The hubs and I stopped by this location, as it was part of the Mile End shopping district, and we were warmly welcomed. Naomi, who was one of the SAs, was super sweet, informative, and extremely helpful! She showed us a current collaboration between Naked & Famous with Frank & Oak, which the hubs fell in love with (if you know anything about Japanese denim, you know that they are AMAZING AMAZING AMAZING). The color and the fit was unbelievable, and they looked mighty good! I was ecstatic to hear that they had a location back at home, and if you order via their app, you can save on shipping for a pick-up in person at the store. The store itself doesn't have a large selection, but if you find other items online, the store is more than happy to order it for you. On a separate note, this store also has a coffee shop as well as a barber on-site - so, you can get your caffeine fix to give you some energy to shop, and then get groomed before you head out. :D Definitely check this place out for some fresh-looking wear! +ask for Naomi :D :D :D +Naked & Famous collaboration denim available :D +coffee shop on-site +barber on-site

Yelp
Beware of their return policy. I received a style plan box from them, from which I decided to keep one item. While I had $150 in store credit that I received as a Christmas gift, they refused to charge from the store credit but instead charged from my card. Additionally, the styling service is an absolute scam. There are a few items haphazardly chosen with no description or any regard to previous things I liked. I specifically remember saying I wouldn't wear certain items and they continued to choose them for me. If you're looking for a styling service, choose Stitch Fix Instead. They are much more professional, reliable, and affordable. STAY AWAY from this company.

Yelp
TLDR: SLOW/No Shipping, Inaccurate Order Info, Terrible Customer Service Model I joined the Frank and Oak Style plan because I was hoping to try a new clothing subscription and I really liked the clothes they used in their advertisements, etc. I selected my first month of clothing and was immediately charged $285 for the items, as expected. However, I did not expect it to take them OVER A MONTH to send said subscription box. 2 weeks in I contacted customer service via chat because one page on my subscription said the items had shipped, but I never received the tracking number and another page still said "processing". Customer service was awful. After waiting for over an hour in the queue for assistance, the customer service rep responded in chat that they had sent me an email, and then they closed the chat box right away before I could ever send any follow-up. I later received an email that simply said "We are currently experiencing a higher volume of orders at the moment which has lead to a longer shipping delay than usual. I've just sent a message to our warehouse team, and your order should be ready to ship shortly." 2 More weeks go by, and still no updates or changes to my account. I decide I just want to cancel the order and ask for a refund. They have no button or option to do this from the subscription dashboard, so I reach out again via the chat (because I couldn't find a number to call), and they say they'll assist me within 4 minutes. Again, I wait for nearly an hour to get a response message. In the chat they said that they cancelled my order and my subscription, but were unable to give me a confirmation email that it had been done. Instead I was directed to screenshot the conversation. I also asked for a customer service phone number, but they don't have one. Don't waste your time, money, or sanity on this company.

Yelp
I am so impressed with the quality and looks of the clothes I ordered from Frank and Oak, but...... BEWARE of their return policy. I bought my daughter a sweater for Christmas and, my fault, did not read their return policy. Even though I bought the sweater the last day of November I could not give it to her for Christmas because you have to return things within 15 days. I had to give her the sweater before Christmas to make sure she liked it and it fit correctly. I will never order a gift from here, but will continue to order for myself.

Yelp
Frank and Oak have charged me more than $400 worth of clothing. I am a working student who works double job just to send myself to college and I come home tired from work to find out that they have charged me $416 worth of clothing without even asking for my consent or approval that I like the style plan box made for me. This is so unfair as I feel like the money that I have been earning for my tuition fee have been stolen by some frank and oak. This is just so disappointing. We dont even get the chance to cancel our orders. $416 is just too much for a college student like me. I am very upset as I have to work day and night to earn that money again by the end of this week because I know the management wont reply to my emails and I will just have to wait for their order not my order to be shipped on march 02 and wait for another 15 days to get the refund.

Yelp
I recently had a negative experience with Frank and Oak. I went into the Queen West store to find a winter coat during the Black Friday presale. They didn't have my size, but offered to place an order for me if I paid upfront in store, so I did. 2 weeks later I still hadn't heard anything so I emailed - no response. Finally got in touch with someone through the web chat who told me the jacket was oversold so I wouldn't get it. This is a very disappointing experience for a number of reasons. Not only did I not get my jacket, I missed out on Black Friday sales elsewhere, so now will have to pay full price. I also told my roomate about the jacket and the good customer experience I had had, so he went in and dropped $350 on the same jacket - basically handing F&O an additional sale. I now have to start the hunt again, wasting yet more time. To cap it off, F&O didn't even bother to notify me about the issue, and I have to go back to the store to get a refund since they can't process it online. As compensation for this inconvenience, they offered me 20% off a full price item, less than the 30% I got off the jacket initially! Word of advice - if its not in stock at the store, don't buy it.

Michelle R.

Yelp
I tried the online subscription and placed my first order 9/22. Two weeks later, I emailed to follow up on where my order was and ask why it hadn't been shipped. They told me that there were issues with their shipping carrier and told me that if I placed a new order, I would get the stuff faster. I placed another order on 10/5. It's now 10/11 and I have yet to receive shipment notification. I'm not sure what's going on with their order fufillment, but it's incredibly frustrating when you are charged upon order and have to wait so long to see the clothes you paid for.
google avatar

Marcus S.

Yelp
Used their subscription service, and I was billed over $630 without receiving even ONE item from them. When I reached out (because no one on their end noticed SMH) I received a reply with an apology saying that they didn't know what happened and that they could refund me $400 but needed to deal with the post office to get the remaining balance refunded to me. When I wrote back telling them (nicely) that I thought this was poor service for a BRAND NEW customer and it was a really bad first impression, they blew me off. Never heard back from them. I recommend that you find a more reputable company to deal with, especially when a recurring monthly bill is involved. Where I come from, when you take money from someone and don't give them what they paid for, you do what you need to to do right by them. This makes me wonder what other dishonest activities this company is up to.

Marina S.

Yelp
If I could give this negative stars I would. I tried F&O back before Covid hit, as I got a new job and wanted to get clothes for it that were simplistic and professional. Then that job went remote (of course) which meant I now worked in my pajamas with my wiener dog in my zoom calls. The day we all went into quarantine, my account was charged $275, and I couldn't figure out why. I hadn't approved the box, or even realised it was time for this thing to deliver. I moved as well, so it got delivered to my old address. By the time I got over to that apartment, picked up the package, tried on the heinous chocolate brown blouse and hoodies I was sent because I set it to "business casual" which apparently also meant "would wear this to the gym" it was 6 days in. I was approaching the 7th day...DUN DUN DUN. Sent it back after having a conversation with their customer team confirming I could get an extension on the return. Sent the whole damn thing back on March 18th. I received my refund on June 5th. JUNE. FIFTH. An over 60 day processing time. SINCE, I have tried 4 times to cancel, but keep having to skip boxes because I can't find the damn cancel button. Tried to call and cancel, tried to chat and cancel online, nada. This is an absolute scam selling clothes that probably cost 56c to make. DON'T FALL FOR IT.

Yelp
I wanted to like Frank + Oak. I even tried to give them my money, but good customer service is the gateway to sales and Frank + Oak does frighteningly little to give the impression they care, much less do what every successful modern online outfit does to earn, keep, and grow customer business. For me it's simple: in an age when phone calls aren't a normal way of doing business and companies encourage email, live chat, and Facebook I'd expect every one of these channels to be monitored and responded to if made available. Additionally, in a fight for consumer dollars every effort to get that first sale is made. My attempts to take advantage of an offer code that made it to my inbox late failed, including contacting F+O by phone and email - the former getting a flat "no" and the latter getting no response at all. It's a shame. I was hoping for at least parity with other online clothing sellers.
google avatar

Stacy S.

Yelp
Just tried it due to a $35 styling fee waived. Received an email with the picks they had for me and I hated them all, not to mention the cost of their clothing is ridiculous. Was unable to reach customer service and directed to "email" to cancel. After a couple of days received response that they understood I wanted to cancel, but asking why? Minutes ago I got notified of a $156 charge from Frank and Oak by my debit card company! Almost simultaneously received email that they have "boxed" my clothing and are shipping soon. Naturally cannot reach customer service and am livid about the charge for services not yet rendered. DO NOT RECOMMEND!

Yelp
My experiences with Frank and Oak online subscription has been nothing but a headache! I have never tried online subscriptions before so I thought I might give Frank and Oak a try since they seem to have positive online reviews (however, come to think of it now those positive reviews from various social platforms are most likely hired by Frank and Oak to write it). I wanted to try Frank and Oak because I wanted more varieties in my outfit choices. They will email you so that you can take a look at the box before mailing it to you. If you missed the email then basically your fucked, which is what happened to me. I initially skipped a few boxes because I didn't like any of their choices. I missed an email they sent me so they went ahead and mailed the box to me. They charged me $425.60 for the whole box. I didn't like any of the items so I mailed it back for return. I messaged them via FB (because they do not have a call center) when I still have not received my refund after a few days. They told me they received my package but will need to wait 7 to 10 business days for refund to process. I waited. After 13 days I still have not received my refund so I contacted them again. This time, they told me refunds will process between 10 to 15 business days. I told them I needed my refund right away. I told the person that their message to me earlier said I would only need to wait 10 business days. She went ahead and issued me the refund but now said I have to wait 3 to 5 more business days for my bank to post the refund. She again emphasized that it usually takes 10 to 10 business days to process refund even though in previous 2 messages they told me it only takes 10 business days the most. All in all, my wallet is still bleeding from this experience. Now I have to wait 5 more business days to get my money back, which is like basically waiting a whole month for this whole refund process. I hate the fact that you cannot talk to a real person via phone regarding my issues. The FB chat people are not very helpful and comes off as rude at times. Sometimes it feels like they are not listening to what I am trying to tell them. I would definitely NOT RECOMMEND their online subscription to anyone. I never expect I have to pay for $425.60 for any of my clothes. They also charge you a styling fee written in small fonts when you sign up. What is up with that?

Lisa M.

Yelp
Scam. Spent $347 upfront, items took a month to arrive. One of the items in my "Style Box' was missing. I contacted customer service, but that got me no where. I just wanted the missing items to be refunded off my order. They replied with"We've already shipped your order, its too late to make any changes." You already shipped a new shirt while I'm telling you about it in real time? Yeah right. It's been over two weeks- I have not received my missing item OR a refund for my returned items. The quality was fine, but not worth the prices or the hassle. You're far better shopping somewhere like Everlane. Frank and Oak is a marketing scam straight up. PS- If anyone from F&O is reading, would sure love that refund!
google avatar

Vanessa B.

Yelp
Online store subscription sucks. Was overly charged for some simple clothes you can find at Wal-Mart. I could've thought of that. No good customer service nowhere to cancel subscription either. Their chat takes 2 hours to get back to you and the email support thing takes 48 hours thats ridiculous!
google avatar

Luisa G.

Yelp
Not only they have stolen my information and are making orders under my name even though I have never wanted to touch their clothes, but they pretend to have a 24-7 service regarding their orders, but they don't, they just say that to "satisfy" the demand but you're never going to get an answer. DO NOT EVEN BOTHER CREATING AN ACCOUNT THERE. IT'S A SCAM.

Poppy L.

Yelp
Terrible. Shopped womenswear jeans (Stevie jean style in light blue), bought the pair which is listed for $99.50 CAD. Ninety-nine fifty! Wore them for two months before BOTH front pocket linings tore AND a hole appeared in the crotch region. Literally the only things I had been doing in those were sitting and walking around my neighbourhood. F+O customer service offered to comp a verryyy generous $20 store credit for the repairs (actual cost of all three breakages would have been $55 so I just repaired the visible crotch hole). A week after I collect the jeans from the tailor, I sit in my car and hear a huge tearing sound. My jeans ripped 12 inches along the right butt cheek. Not even along the seam! Contacted customer service again and they were only willing to cover the cost of repair in store credit. To recap, I had 4 tears in these jeans over the span of 3 months! I wore a pair of HM jeans nearly every day for a YEAR and sprouted a tiny hole at the end of their life. I have never experienced such shoddy quality in any other garment which tbh this leads me to believe the company is a total scam. Like seriously, what gives? Honestly I think I could buy denim from Aliexpress and have it last longer. On top of all that the Facebook Messenger CS person wasn't able to put me in contact with a higher up at all (I hate to be a Karen but can you blame me?). Poor quality product, poor quality customer service. Save your time and money. Shop elsewhere!

Yelp
Delivered my package to the entirely wrong building. Let someone who was not my name sign for the package and refused to give me a refund. Not only did USPS provided the name who signed for my package, they provided the WRONG address but that was not good enough for them to refund my order.

Emily W.

Yelp
Really disappointing process and customer service. I was excited about getting my first shipment as I had tried other services like StitchFix and RentTheRunway before with ease. Unfortunately, Frank and Oak is not the same kind of company. They make it extremely difficult to return their products and give you a short window of time to do it. That combined with the high price of the clothes that I didn't find to be very flattering makes a really unfortunate customer experience. The member services chat was not functioning when I tried to reach out and then when I did contact them, they didn't provide any help on the issue of returning the clothes.

Yelp
Review is for F&O Corporate/Online, not the store. I was fraudulently charged for some seriously cheesy stuff (jean shorts- seriously?) and they have no phone #-the online "chat" thing only resulted in me being accused of having an email address that is easily mis-typed. For real. I called the store in Montreal and they were lovely, but admitted they, too had no means to contact corporate. Red flag. Sucks as their pants fit me perfectly, but I'm good- I can find new and better pants.

Yelp
If I could submit a negative star review, I would. My short review: AWFUL. SCAM. RUN FAR AWAY. I ordered three shirts from Frank & Oak in early November 2013. I congratulated myself because they were stylish shirts and great value $20/shirt. They were going to be Christmas gifts for my Dad and my two brothers. F&O had no issues charging my credit card. What they had issues on was delivering the products I paid for. I waited until two weeks before Christmas; that's 6 weeks of waiting and still nothing. I contacted them via their 1-855 number. No one picked up after the myriad of buttons I had to push. I ended up getting voicemail which I couldn't leave one because the mailbox was full. I sent them an email. No response. I went on their Facebook page and left a comment about my experience and my order. Was I surprised that their FB page was full of complaints exactly the same as mine? At this point, misery loves company. F&O screwed up HUGE! Right before the holidays. A-holes. I finally got a response AFTER Christmas saying they were sending me one of the shirts AND they would refund me the rest of my money. I guess I was never getting the shirts. Word of advice F&O, how about giving the customer the options to receive the merchandise or receive the refund. Finally, I never got the refund. So I was out money and had no product. Frank & Oak is like that hot guy/gal you meet at the bar/club/online. Seemingly very attractive, makes lots of promises, and leaves you with less money and a bad taste in your mouth.

Yelp
I'd never heard of Frank and Oak (I live in Vancouver), but I received their catalog in the mail. It was a beautiful catalog, and the few items they showed looked nice and seemed well priced, so I headed over to their web site. In order to even browse their site I had to set up an account, odd, as most e-tailers don't require an account until you're ready to buy (and some don't require it at all). Oh well, I thought, and set up an account. Next, the site asked me to enter my email PASSWORD so they could import all my contacts. Import my contacts? Just to browse? Are you frikkin' KIDDING me?!? I immediately lumped Frank and Oak in with every scammy spammy direct-marketing company I've had the misfortune to interact with. I just want to look at shirts, not sign up for a timeshare. I closed the browser and tossed the catalog in the recycle bin. What a waste of time, money and natural resources for all concerned. Frank and Oak - Get back to me when you understand how e-tailing is done in 2013.

Yelp
I'd like to note that since my original review I've received a personal message from one of the business owners. He candidly addressed my concerns, and provided some information on some improvements that have been made to their sizing and garment quality since the last time I tried their clothing. He also apologized for the poor service I received in their store and invited me to return the next time I'm in Montreal for a style consultation and a cup of coffee. It impresses me that not only was the message professional, humble, and honest; but they invited me to return to give them another chance. This is the type of service that makes it hard to dislike a company. The next time I'm in Montreal, I will be sure to pop in and give Frank & Oak another chance.

Yelp
I really don't understand the reviews below, unless they're fake. Frank & Oak has subpar quality clothing. Basically this is the quality you would get at Old Navy or Gap, at about 2-3 times the price. And they make it very difficult to discontinue a membership. The website does not allow you to cancel a membership; it says you have to call. But when I called (at 12pm Pacific) they put me on hold for 5 min. (with VERY annoying techno music) and then said there was nobody to help me and I had to send an e-mail. I sent an e-mail and am waiting to hear back from them. If anybody is there, PLEASE cancel my membership! Terrible customer service. Mediocre clothing. High prices. So much not to love. Why so many 5 stars? Again, unless they're fake.

Yelp
Man oh man, I thought I'd found a good thing in Frank and Oak. "Why would I ever shop anywhere else?" I said. Flash forward maybe three months, and I have shut down my membership in their Hunt Club and unsubscribed from their emails. It seems F&O like to charge my credit card for inventory they don't actually have. Having ordered two shirts, I received one along with a letter explaining that the other would follow shortly. After a month of no additional information, I decided to call. It seems someone at F&O marked the second shirt as shipped ("oops, human error"). Had I not called to check on the status of my order, I would have been charged $40 for an item that apparently wasn't in stock to begin with. But get this--the customer service rep was more concerned with why I hadn't ordered more crates as part of the Hunt Club! F&O tried to rip me for $40, and the majority of the phone call was dedicated to discussing why I'm not ordering monthly crates. To summarize: 1. It is *your* responsibility to ensure that items you have already paid for actually arrive at your home. If you get a letter saying that some portion will be delivered at a later date, write it down so you don't forget. F&O are happy to keep your money for undelivered product and attribute it to "human error." 2. Two rivets popped off a $50 pair of F&O jeans I was wearing today. Of all the denim I have ever purchased--from Target to Macy's--this has never happened. In addition to billing issues, there may be a quality issue. 3. The shipping itself is slow. An order placed today should be expected to take 3-4 weeks for delivery. As part of the Hunt Club, shipping was free so I won't belabor the point too much. Just know that shipping is slow. I really like the style that Frank and Oak offers. The designers should not be faulted. The accounting, shipping and fulfillment are another story. I thought I stumbled upon a good thing (an internet banner on some unrelated site). At best, Frank and Oak are incompetent when it comes to inventory management and e-commerce. At worst, they are crooks. Buyer beware.

Yelp
Frank and Oak is another in a growing list of subscription clothing services that offer men an easy way to shop. Based in Montreal, Frank and Oak sells high quality clothing, classic in style, for a very affordable price. The secret here is that they control every aspect of the process with a vertically integrated structure. Design, material sourcing, manufacturing and sales is all handled in house. So, while the clothes themselves lack the brand name recognition, they are very well made. Sizing is a bit questionable at times, with many of their button down shirts made for European male models. In addition, their pants often don't go any larger than a 36 or 38, and their blazers top out at 46R. Both are too small for my frame. Unlike services such as Trunk Club, Bombfell and Five Four, the clothing selected for monthly shipments isn't chosen for you. Rather, you select from a curated list of 50 or so items. Not hard, but not as automatic as other services. On the plus side, every purchase you make results in credits earned for future purchases. So, not only are the prices low to begin with, you can eventually earn enough credits for free items. You can also gain credit on referrals. On the negative side, it takes awhile to process and ship out orders. It can be 7-10 days before an order arrives, which is far too long in my opinion. Although I am relatively new to Frank and Oak, I like what I've received thus far and appreciate that their styles, while classic in nature, differ from my usual go-to, Banana Republic. I'll continue to give them a go and see what happens!

Yelp
Zero Stars if I could. 10 Days after shipping, my order was held at a post office but the tracking number did not specify which of the post offices in my zip code was holding the package. When I called Frank & Oak they told me to "visit the nearest one." I live in Los Angeles. We have lots of post offices. The only solution they offered was to file a claim. The never offered a credit, nor a discount and refused to cancel the order and resend another hat. They only agreed to a refund and if the hat ever did arrive they would charge my card for the full amount even though it was already 7 days after the expected arrival date. Spoke to three different people at the company and will never order from here again. Here is the online chat transcript: Frank and Oak Tue, 11/29/16 04:09:43 pm America/Los_Angeles Hello, how may I help you?/Bonjour, comment puis-je vous aider ? Yelp
In order to see what the heck they even sell, one must become cool enough to be considered a member. What that really means is they need your email address to even let you past the very front page. That's a red flag worth heeding. I made the mistake of giving them my junk email address anyway, since they keep sending internet ads my way and I figured I was in their demographic. The clothes weren't my style, so after a quick five-minute peruse I was done. But then the emails began. Seriously, every day you will be getting email from these guys. There is no way to cancel and delete your account through their site-- I contacted customer service and, to their credit, got a return email within a day saying my account was deleted. And I still get emails. Including one asking whether I would recommend Frank & Oak to a friend. You can imagine how nice my response was. Bottom line: meh selection of clothes, and horrible marketing tactics. If you must see the limited and weird selection (seriously, how much cammo can you put in one line of clothing?) then give an incredibly fake email address so you're done with them after one quick viewing.

Yelp
Lousy return policy. They have recently rolled out internet site. Only a 15 day return! Any mail order item purchase must be able to be returned in 30-Days for full refund. That is the FTC regulation. I won't be purchasing anything from these guys.

Yelp
It doesn't get better for this. Awesome clothes at a great price with the ability to try them on before buying. Highly recommended if they fit your style.

Yelp
I got introduced to Frank and Oak last month by a friend. And it has been a great experience so far. I hate going out to shop for clothes. I also rarely shop for clothes. And I am very picky and particular in terms of what I want in style. I am always looking for a classic, timeless style in clothing. And it's hard to find when out physically shopping. Maybe because I don't go out looking hard enough? I don't know, I have better things to do than search for clothes :P I scrolled through Frank and Oak and found a few things I liked and ordered them: a casual button shirt, a thicker grey button overshirt, and jeans. Everything fits great. Their sizing charts and sizing information are very accurate. If you fall within the perimeters of their sizing style, the fit will be great. I am 5'8, 155 pounds, 30' waist, athletic build and their clothes so far have fit like a glove. I am very impressed by the sizing and quality of the material. I am also impressed by the style. I will definitely be a repeat customer and will order as I find items/styles I like. My only word of caution would be to closely check their sizing chart/sizing guides and make sure their sizing style will work for you. I was fortunate that for my body type, it fits extremely well. Also, Hunt Club is a great deal because of the free shipping and 8% back. Just remember to sign onto your account and press skip between the 1st-7th of every new month if you don't want anything.

Yelp
I was quite pleased with the questionnaire process in which Frank & Oak provides their online shopping service, and that we can preview it before purchase. Unfortunately, this has been the only positive aspect of the when I have tried out the service. Once I had received my first and only box, in which took approximately three weeks to arrive. I had it sent back the very next day, following the package, it was signed for on March 3rd, and processed on the 9th of March. They state that due to the COVID-19 pandemic to allow for additional time for refunds to be processed. I have reached out to the guest services multiple times as they only seem to recite from a scripted email process with the same text each time. Their refund time frame is normally 15 to 20 business days. Be as it may, I have NEVER heard of an electronic refund taking such a long time, especially coming from a work environment where refunds are processed daily. Nevertheless, I have waited, and have now hit the 31 day mark. When I last corresponded with the company, they had confirmed that they were working through the pallet they received on the 3rd of March. This was on April 10th, and I continue to wait for my $270.00 refund. I am saddened to say I will discourage anyone from using this site and shopping option.

Yelp
F&O is more than a great affordable and stylish clothing company... It's a media company. From a marketing perspective, I love all the awesome content they put out, and their dedication to grow a global brand with a local community feel. I simply love their clothes, new skin care Balsam line and coffee shop! Keep on the great work guys!

Yelp
I was charged over 200 dollars for items I never purchased before all the sizes were too big . I was there to browse their selection and was charged 248.00 and was shipped to my house ... I got my money back from my bank but now it looks like my fault when I never ordered from them. I have a phone bill to pay, and when I went to pay it my shot only had 27 dollars! SOOOO YEAH NEVER GO ON HERE. The clothes aren't even things I would pick out! Lead alone wear!

Yelp
I decided to take a chance and order a couple items from their website. Prices were "on sale" which means the pricing was ok. Shipping was OK, but one of the items was ridiculously undersized. I found they do returns, but only for store credit. I returned the offending item, which was pretty easy. However, after they received the item, they did not credit my account; I had to call them. I then had to use the store credit. Two items again. The belt fit, but the shirt did not. I am an XL, but this shirt could pass for a medium. I am not going to return the shirt, but I will not shop there again. I don't fit their stuff.

Yelp
I've been ordering clothes from Frank & Oak for the better part of a year now and am also a Hunt Club member. The value of the clothes here are amazing: great fabrics, great styles, great construction, ridiculous prices! Customer service has always been highly professional, friendly, modern and swift. For example, my first purchase was a wool sport coat. It stayed in my closet for a couple months because I wanted to get it tailored, so I never had a chance to wear it. Gradually I realized the reason it needed so much tailoring was because I had slimmed down and the sport coat was just too big for me! I reached out to member services and they sent me a replacement as soon as they had a return in my size--months after the product had disappeared from their catalogue. I have interacted with their customer service via email, Twitter and Facebook and always receive a prompt response. Their Hunt Club allows me to try on their clothes without a commitment to purchase and a full refund for everything I send back--and the postage is paid by them! I cannot recommend Frank & Oak enough.

Yelp
I would say people on yelp really have their undergarments in knots. Yes they have problems but its not cry-me a river Pros: lots of choices, shirts fit great, if you're in the hunt club you usually get things "relatively quick" within 10 days. (question: do people expect things to be in their front door in 2 days? Cons: hard to get to customer service, however, email works great I find. Refunds take a long time so you gotta be on top of it (sometimes it returns as credit then you email and they will gladly put it back on credit). Maybe i'm not that picky with being served on a platter, but at the same time don't expect to be coddled here like at a store.

Yelp
Frank&Oak and I have been good friends since I found them through Modasuite launched F&O. I've been a Hunt Club member since then as well. Being able to try on clothes at home that I never had to take the time and go to the store to get was the key for me. Saves me time and lets me try on things at home with my other wardrobe pieces. Best of all, what I don't want, I send right back! The prices have been great, starting with under $50 products, but now the line has expanded to blazers and pants and jackets that can go above that price range. I have yet to try out the jackets (have a vest in the mail now), but the blazers have fit well, though needing a little tapering of the sleeves to show your cuffs (at least on my arms). Pants fit me pretty well 32x32, with just a bit of extra room in the crotch area. Otherwise, super comfortable. My favorite pieces from F&O are the shirts. They fit me extremely well and I always get compliments on em. I'm a huge gingham fan and there is no short supply of gingham with F&O. I've even picked up some ties which have gone well when I do need to meet patients and dress accordingly. Overall, an amazing store that I will continue to shop at while in medical school (however buying less to go with the times), and will continue to recommend to friends that want to step up their style game. The customer service is great, with 8% credit back on Hunt Club purchases, and I have never, ever paid for shipping. On top of it all, easy returns! Make sure you join the Hunt Club - there is no better way to know if you should buy something then to be able to see exactly what you have in your closet to go with it!

Yelp
I have been a subscription box user for several months. I suppose they recently changed their shipping protocols because this month I received two packages - one I had ordered and one that I did not. The package I did not order had items in it that were nowhere near my size. I tried to return this package since I assumed it was supposed to go to someone else but had somehow gotten my shipping label on it. Online, there was no record of this package being sent to me (thereby making it impossible for me to easily print a shipping label and take care of this myself) and I was forced to enter an IM chat with their customer service. It took nearly a half hour for someone to respond to me (where is the "instant" part of instant messenger?) and the woman thanked me for my honesty and promised to send a shipping label. Well, they sent me a Canadian post shipping label. I live in the U.S. It is pretty clear on both my profile and order history that I live in the U.S. Anyway, I took it to my post office in the hopes that since we are on the same continent they would deal with it. They would not. So I got back onto the IM. Once again, 30 minutes later I receive a message of apology and an attached U.S. shipping label. The fact that they a) sent me a box that I did not order full of clothing that were not my size, b) did not appear to care that I do not live in Canada and would therefore need a different shipping label, and c) took far too long to respond on an instant messenger service makes me want to cancel my subscription.

Yelp
I have been ordering from Frank and Oak since Sept 2013 and I have to say I really like everything that I have received. I have had one problem with shipping (CANADA POST ISSUES) but F&O was really helpful anytime I have had any issues. I love the hunt club!!! so nice to just pick 3 things have them show up if you like them keep them if not print off the return slip let them know and send it back that easy! I have received almost $100 bucks in credit from them as they give you a % of each order back in store credit (hunt club only). I have purchased Dress pants, chinos, jeans, button downs, and 2 bags a backpack and a 5 day canvas bag as well as a canvas shaving kit all of which the quality is so nice and is holding up well. I really appreciate the style and cut of the clothes they were exactly what I had been looking for at a fraction of the price I was able to find at other stores in Calgary. I really would recommend them to anyone I have read past reviews but can't say I have had any of these issues I have never even had to call them for anything just a quick e-mail and they are always prompt to reply and super helpful.

Yelp
Been a hunt club member since Frank and Oak was in beta. I get something once a month, average 2 items a month. Best thing about this line is their customer service. It's above anything else I've ever bought from. Their line is constantly changing but all fits together. I can mix and match anything and everything I've bought from them. Their lookbooks is something I get excited about every month. I've referred plenty of friends and still do. I get credit every time and since I'm a hunt club member, I also receive credit on anything I buy from their store. Truly keeping me a customer over here. I can now proudly say I own a couple of blazers thanks for Frank and Oak and wear them frequently. Overall, thanks to Frank and Oak, my young professional wardrobe is always being updated. Check them out on Instagram as well, always some sort of contest and their soundcloud account, great mixes.

Yelp
This review is for their online subscription service. I've tried a few clothing subscriptions and expected this to operate similarly - charging you a "styling fee" when the box ships, but waiting for your try-on before charging for any individual pieces. I was wrong about that- I was immediately charged $276. I actually received a box pretty quickly- within a week of placing my order- which seems rare for this company. The problem was that this box included only 1 of the 4 items I purchased. Another box arrived at the end of the week with two more items. Finally, a third box arrived the following week. 3 boxes for 4 items? This felt ridiculous. To make matters worse, their return process requires submitting the return request within 10 days. This meant that by the time I received my final box, I was nearly at the 10 day mark for Box #1. I'm hoping to get my money back quickly, but I'm nervous after reading many other reviews from people who never received word from F+O customer service. Gave them two stars instead of 1, because their clothes are as described on the website and pretty good quality (if not a little pricey). So at least the clothing itself is not a scam.

Yelp
Bought three shirts because a friend was wearing and they looked good. The shirts fit great but within one wear of each one, buttons and threads began unraveling. On all three shirts. Their response was send it back or go to a tailor and send us the bill for store credit... no thanks, I'm not going to buy more shirts with the money I used to fix the ones I already bought. I just sewed two buttons back on by hand because I'm not going to a tailor for two buttons. Only a matter of time before the rest fall off. Bad quality. smh.
