Frank Beach Bar and Restaurant Take Away

Went here last minute and was greeted very nicely and got to choose where to sit. Food was amazing and the donuts are a must for dessert. Price was reasonable and service was great. Nice restaurant to eat at and they also do take away. Wood fired Pizzas were amazing.

We ordered take away pizza- FUN GUY The pizza crust perimeter was burnt. The mushrooms were very sparse which included a mixture of fresh( all 4 of them) and the rest were mushy and appeared to be out of a tin. Pic looks great under the lighting but it was extremely bland and disappointing.

Busy place where the locals eat. Food is pretty good, we had the steak and kids had pasta. All good without being anything to rave about. Service is a little ordinary and chaotic but it was a very busy night when we were there. Buzzing atmosphere where you can let your hair down. All in all a good casual place to go with friends or the kids.

🥰🥰🥰🥰. Found this lovely Italian restaurant on our 2nd trip to Coolum. Pepperoni Pizza is so worth the visit! The last time we had the quality of this Italian pizza was overseas 3 months ago. Lovely rocket side salad as well. Tucked away behind the main beach area so pop in.. thanks so much, we’ll be back!

Firstly, the quality of the pizzas we ordered for takeaway was fine. They tasted nice enough, but they aren'tmuch better than the most expensive frozen pizza you can buy at Coles or Woolies, and they don't come even close to the value and quality of our local pizza place. We ordered 3 pizzas and 1 box of chips for the grand total of $73. The pizzas are 10" in size and very light on toppings. A standard pizza hut or domino's pizza has more toppings. Compare these pizzas to our local gourmet pizza place, and these just look anorexic by comparison. See pic's. The super low score is purely based on the high price charged for a pizza that simply doesn't live up to expectations at this price point.

Nice atmosphere for a relaxed dinner. The pizzas are great and tasted lovely, unfortunately could not say the same for the beef ragu, it was just a spaghetti bolognese labelled as a ragu, sauce was light rather than a richer ragu-like sauce with dry mince beef. Ordered Arancini balls too, which had a floury tasting filling with an extra hard outer layer. So unfortunately the only thing I can recommend is their pizzas, however there is quite a range and number to choose from.

Great atmosphere and glimpses over the ocean as the sun set. Staff were friendly and the special calzone of the month pictured was yum. The other pizza and pastas were also great. Presentation of all meals was also above Coolum’s standard and the aranchini were also tasty and presented beautifully. Great work Frank and team!

Tonight just want a quick wood-fired pizza for dinner, a lot of topping on each pizza, garlic pizza is nice, wish the base can a bit more thinner😅as conform food in cool night is not too bad
