I love this place I have buried several pig fetuses in this forest. I just waiting for when they sprout and grow into healthy hog trees.

Did some trail restoration on garden creek trail in 2018, it was a 3 week job and honestly one of my favorite places I've been. The hike in was 8 miles with 30ish river crossings in the first 4, it hailed on us while we were hiking in, our crew leaders both hiked off to call in and make sure we were in the right area and the rest of my crew and I just sat in the river while it hailed. Someday I hope to go back with some of those crew mates and camp for a while without the work. Anyone who wants to hike it I'll tell you what the rangers told us "Frank's gonna try and stop you from going in, he'll throw storms and gales at you, tell him to screw off and keep hiking, it's worth it."

I've taken many trips to this huge wilderness. The Frank Church, I believe, is the largest single designated wilderness in the lower 48 states. Hunting, fishing, photography, hiking and backpacking, treking, mountaineering, river running. A number of other wilderness areas and places without roads are adjacent or close to the Frank Church. All of the animals that were present here 200-300 years are still present, including, probably, grizzly bears.

I've never been...hope to experience such raw country one day...I'm just giving 5 stars for nature and good will to compensate for the a$$holes being trolls...the fact that people can rate nature is whats wrong with humanity...what are peoples complaints going to be? Too many snakes and bugs?? F off and stay where theres wifi jerks..
