It was so nice to catch up with a friend at Frankie's Top Shop! 😀 there was seating outside, as well as many tables inside. It is so nicely designed and the staff here are super friendly and helpful.
The coffees were delicious and I had a warm muffin. The food that was brought out to others looked delightful and I'll have to come back for a meal next time.

Frankie’s big green door was wide open when I arrived, so in I went. I soon had my lactose-free cappuccino and the fruit toast and porridge weren’t far behind. I decided on chai as a follow-up, while Looking around for something else to photograph.

The vibe is cool the rest is underwhelming to say the least. Web prices are wrong "they’ve been like that for ages" apparently…
Let’s start with the good stuff, it’s going to be fast don’t worry. The color vibe is cool. Now for the rest, better bring your own chocolate or coffee if you want your drink to taste like anything. And maybe your own saw to cut through the egg Benedict muffin… on the other hand the bacon and egg roll is very easy the through, some would say soggy.
I did get an apology from the waitress so so guess service gets two stars youhou…

Fabulous food, and a friendly and attentive team! Love coming here for breakfast leave satisfied every time.
Update in 2025: I ordered my usual cauliflower fritters and only received two with watery spinach and mashed avocado. Won’t be back despite being a local loyal for so long and the staff being attentive and fantastic - the food I feel is a reflection of decisions outside of their remit.
