"Your Lucca Local If the sound of jazz spilling out into the streets of Lucca’s historic old town doesn’t charm you, one sip of these cocktails will. A fast favorite with both locals and visitors (the latter often make this their “local” during their time in town), the cozy bar offers Prohibition-inspired décor and a menu focused on the classic American cocktail—with some twists. The bartenders are both knowledgeable and friendly (a winning combo), and are happy to guide you through the decision-making process, or just make you the perfect martini. Note the bar can get crowded, particularly before and after dinner, so make a reservation to snag prime seating on the couches or upstairs."
Awesome handcrafted cocktails with friendly staff. You get chips and nuts with the drinks as well. Cute atmosphere and lots of amazing options in the cocktail menu. Highly recommend!

The cocktails are excellent! The staff are incredibly sweet people. You need to go a bit early to find a spot outside. We were at Franklin '33 every day while we were in Lucca. Sitting inside is very difficult because of the heat. They need to address this.

The bar is a bit retreated from the busy shopping street. The atmosphere is dark, chilled, but friendly.
We ordered negroni and the "Regina Elizabeta II" (Queen Elizabeth the second). Both are well prepared. I love the colours on the top of my drink. Just looking at it already gives one a delighted mood.
The young owners are very friendly and share their ideas and visions with the bar and the city.
They serve breakfast daily but closed on Monday - glad that we happened to bump into here on that Sunday night. Definitely we will come by again.

A lively cocktail bar off the beat and track a little but we'll worth the search. Great selection of drinks and a very atmospheric environment. Good music playing in the background.

Had a great time last night with some awesome cocktails and friendly conversation. Also got to try some local amaro called AmarPisa that was amazing. If you love cocktails definitely stop in at Franklin 33 while in Lucca!

Classic and welcoming cocktail bar where we were given a free selection of meats, cheese and bread. The place looks amazing and the staff were very welcoming, it's slightly off the main streets of Lucca and you could easily think you're heading the wrong way when venturing there, but trust Google maps and enjoy the cocktails. Costs from €8-10 but well worth the price

If you like hand crafted, original cocktails this is your place. I had two of their originals. Both were amazing. The atmosphere is authentic. The service is knowledgeable and the bathroom was clean!
