I rarely leave reviews, but this experience was so frustrating I feel the need to warn others.
From the start, the hotel took a $200 deposit, claiming it was in case of damages — but that’s unreasonably high for the kind of accommodation and wasn’t communicated clearly upfront. They also charge for parking, but when I arrived, there was no parking available. I was told to find a private park nearby – which, of course, cost me extra. When I called beforehand to ask about parking, the staff were unbelievably rude – dismissive and unhelpful, as if I was a nuisance for even asking.
The room had were 3 bottles of water in the fridge that looked complimentary (no price tag anywhere), only to find out later I’d been charged $15 for it. That’s absurd.
The WiFi barely worked — constant dropouts and painfully slow when it did connect, which made working or streaming impossible.
Overall, this place feels like a money trap with bad service. Unreliable amenities, misleading charges, and staff who seem to forget they’re in hospitality. There are so many better options in Adelaide — I would strongly recommend staying elsewhere.
