Frankly cafe

Recommended to us by our hotel receptionist so we could grab a quick bite to eat while we waited for our rooms to be ready. I love when someone says that’s where they personally like to eat themselves because that’s a green flag all the way!! Food was very good. I had the smoked salmon eggs Benedict. First time I’ve ever had a Benedict meal in a bowl. This made it difficult to cut since you’re working with limited space in the bowl. Once you get going though it becomes easier to eat. It has all the traditional flavors you’d expect. I sampled the yogurt bowls and I would definitely recommend them if you’re looking for something light to eat. Edit: Went back a second time. I just absolutely love this place. Coffee is fantastic! Do yourself a favor and try the churros. You’re welcome!😉

A perfect spot for a relaxed breakfast or brunch. The attention to detail, nicely presented dishes and the high quality of the ingredients make this café the kind of place you just don’t want to leave. Service is friendly, attentive and fast as needed. Prices are more than fair for the overall experience. Well done to the team, their care and passion are clearly reflected in every aspect! Frankly… a place not to be missed while in Candia!

Love this spot! A trendy cafe on the corner of a square. Very lively and great food and coffee. Both times I opted for an omelette without bread to be safe for gluten free, and they were delicious!!

Cool cafe in the heart of Heraklion with nice mix of indoor and outdoor seating. Shakshuka was a little watery and could have used more bread but it was still tasty. Nice atmosphere and some bar spots if you want to work on a laptop. Great vibe

It is amazing place with amazing peoples. I was today with my friend and bought drinks and coffee beans. I left my bag there and reveal it, when I was in the bus. I called to coffee bar and they assured me that all is good and I can return my bag on every suitable time for me. When I took away my bag and proposed extra charge, like tips for staff, they did not take money for their attentiveness and understanding🩷 Thank you so much again and again ✨

Two Avocado toast and yogurt bowl with cappuccino and flat white. It cost 32 euros but unfortunately I found a hair in my food. They didn’t apologise and charged full fare.

Incredible cafe, such delicious food and drinks! The eggs were perfect and amazing avocado toast. Loved the cold brew and pomegranate juice.

One of the best coffee shops in Heraklion. Love it. The atmosphere, the service, the food, all incredible. 100/10 !!!
