Frankly cafe

My absolute favorite café in Heraklion. Great selection of savory and sweet dishes with an amazing service and great specialty coffee. Plant-based milk options available. Ticks all the boxes for me. An absolute recommendation.

Excellent brunch/coffee/drinks place. We’ve eaten here a few times and tried various things. They have an amazing mocha with coconut (“Coconut mocha” in the menu), highly recommend it! We tried some of the fruit bowls, bagel, sandwiches and pastries. Depending on the time, you may need to wait a bit for the dishes to be ready, but the hosts are super nice and helpful. I also like the interior design, it’s very clean and minimalistic, and it’s also a quite nice place to work from for a few hours. It has a nice vibe. Photos with the food and menu from April 2024. Cozy and good food, a good choice for a breakfast or evening snack, my recommendation is the falafel wrap 😋

Very good place for coffee and brunch / breakfast. It has a lot of tables both inside and outside in the shade. One star less because of the slow service, otherwise everything was perfect.

Upmarket, trendy Cafe on the cathedral square. Good coffee, good food. Coffee Freddo was superb. Banoffee pancakes were the draw card and were decadent!

Really Pretty Place. Has lots of vegetarian food options. Great Matcha Latte, the price though was too high for the amount you get… 5€ for a small cup 😧 I also had the Falafel Bowl which tasted phenomenal, i can only recommend it. Especially the bread with the hummus. The lady who served us was really nice!!

I absolutely love this cafe! I visited three times during my stay in Heraklion and every time I left extremely satisfied! I recommend the shakshuka eggs! They are so full of flavor and come with a couple pieces of toast! The coffee is also extremely delicious and it is located right next to a beautiful cathedral. They also have free wifi and incredibly clean bathrooms!

I had the pleasure of visiting Frankly Café during my stay in Heraklion, and it was one of the highlights of my trip! The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming. Сafe offers nice coffee (in my opinion the best one in town) as well as some breakfast options and food. The staff was friendly, attentive and helpful. I would like to highlight amazing job of George. We had always a pleasant experience being provided the service by him. Highly recommend!
