I really wanted to like this place. I'll start with the one positive - Michelle at the front door was a ray of sunshine. She was smiley, welcoming and accommodating.
Unfortunately, we had a miserable experience on our first visit last night. We were a group of 11 that came for drinks and dinner to watch Frank DiSalvo. We arrived at 5:30 and at 6:00 put in our order for food (some flat bread pizzas, salads and potato skins - pretty basic stuff). Around 7pm (an hour after we put our order in) the manager started bringing random food out of the back and running around to all different tables in the restaurant asking people if it was their food. This chaos continued for the next hour - him coming out with one or two food items and then going to multiple tables throughout the restaurant looking for who ordered it. I have a feeling most of our food ended up at some other patrons' tables because by 8pm we had only received a few things of what we ordered. The manager did take the majority of the food items off of our bill - because we never received them! At the end of the evening he told us his staff didn't show up. However, I think the manager should know the system for identifying and serving tables. All in all it made for a very stressful and less fun evening. We went home and ate.
Drink service was also hit or miss. Generally we could flag down someone to get a drink order, but it took an awfully long time to get a drink. In addition, when asked if our martini style drinks could be served in a traditional martini glass we were told they weren't sure if they had any more martini glasses. (They did end up serving our drinks in the requested glasses). The place was busy, but not completely full. I'm not sure how a bar could not have enough martini glasses when looking around the room there were maybe 12-15 people drinking martinis. I think the show "Bar Rescue" could do wonders for this place.
As I said at the beginning, I really wanted to love this place, but sadly that didn't happen last night.
