Frank's Meat Market

They are the friendliest around! They have a long history, having started their butcher shop in 1947. We searched and searched and we finally found the best meats that is just that...pure beef! They also have many other meats, like chicken and more. They are also the only place we have found to purchase Head Country BBQ sauce...it is yum!! The lady that helped us today was just very much the best. And the elderly lady whom I believe is the owner, has been very helpful to us ever since we found Franks Meat Market. I would recommend this place over and over! Try them once and you will never stray!! They accept credit cards, cash, and EBT. The selection goes far beyond meats, they have groceries, spices, and more! And they offer meat bundles! You won't be disappointed!!! All the folks behind the counter are also top notch and make you feel very welcome in their shop!

They have specialized Eastern European sausage as well as regular forms of sausage. We also get there burgers which are fantastic. All forms of cut steaks and even some specialties can be ordered. Try them out for their very reasonable prices.

Our first time did not disappoint. Got some of the most beautiful short ribs we have ever seen. They are extremely accommodating and will cut the meats any way you wish. Call in a day ahead for complicated orders like one of their many package deals. Next time we are getting sliced round to make Biltong, South African dried meat. They even had pig cheek for an authentic yummy Carbona. Hard to not love this place and their family charm.

Frank's Meat Market is perfect lots of delicious home made sausage. Such a wonderful local market, seasoning galor for brisket, deer and everything you could want. The team are fantastic, friendly, and knowledgeable. This is my number one market.

We went to franks meat market 2x already and absolutely love it. It's cheaper to get my meats from there than from like Albertsons or Walmart. Ty to franks for the wonderful service

I love supporting small businesses. But buyer be warned. Today I went in asked for a sirloin . The kid was annoyed because the ones on top looked discolored and dried out. I asked for bacon he gave me the ones that were trown back in. He weighed it on the same scale that the beef was on. WITHOUT putting paper down. Cross contamination! Then I was really paying attention. NONE OF THE EMPLOYEES CHANGED THIER GLOVES. At a different date I asked for t-bones . I watched as the same kid cut off and threw it into a white plastic container. Just thought maybe he trimmed it. Nope got it home he cut off the best part. One bone was perfect the other not so much. I took a picture. And showed the other butcher. He said "oh it's at the end of the cut. " the cut that was perfect was 2 " Thick how could this be. I told him I watched him cut it off. Nothing and shrugged his shoulders. NOT COMMING BACK HOPE THEY CLEAN UP !!

I called today to see if they had ground lamb. The man on the phone said they did, so I asked how much it was. I asked how much it was and he said it was $6.99 a lb. I drove all the way there from Pueblo West and purchased 4 lbs of ground lamb, 6 lbs of ground beef and a couple of beef sticks. At the register the woman checking me out asked the butcher how much the ground lamb was and he said $10 a lb. So he made an extra 12 bucks, big deal, was it worth it? I certainly will never go back. It's a run down smelly place too.

Best Butcher we have visited so far in town! Awesome prices! Friendly, knowledgeable humans ready to package up everything exactly the way you request. Beautiful cuts of beef, pork and chicken with some gorgeous bacon in the winter bundle we purchased recently. Filled out freezer up nicely!! Going back for summer steaks!!

Wonderful place, great service old fashioned value. The smoked pork chops, fantastic bacon and kielbasa are wonderful.

Ordered 8 sirloin steaks - 2 per package. Gave package to sister and her hubby. The four of us grilled the steaks that week and we all were very disappointed as they were very chewy and not good. Tried another package today after thawing them out - nothing but fat and gristle. Grilled them for our friends dog. Gave 2 stars though instead of 1 as the pork chops are very good and big. Very sad that Franks's does not have the good quality meat that made them the best in town many years ago. Did have a bad meat buy few years back so thought I would give them another try. No more.

This place is SO shady. We have a small business and need high temp cheese. We have been buying it from Franks for over a year as they are the only place close we can buy it. We drive in from the Springs to get it. For awhile everything was fine. We would buy a whole case at a time (25 lbs) and the price stayed the same. The price then started to get really inconsistent. One time we would go in and it would be $100 for the case, the next it would be $120, the next $110, the next $95, the next $130, etc. Today we bought some, and whole bag was missing from the case, (when we were promised a whole case) and the price was $140! When asked about it, they just said the price had increased. It had increased that much for not even a whole case? Needless to say this will be the final time we buy from there. We will be ordering online from now on. We are a small business, and were trying to support a small business but we refuse to do business with people who are this dishonest. Please be careful when giving them your money. There are other places that are honest and more deserving.

Finally, found a butcher shop that makes fresh kielbasa in links. I requested fresh polish sausage for Easter excellent flavor and no dairy or gluten. Nice. Must request ahead of time since most gets smoked I am so happy with flavor garlicky we cooked with water 45- minutes hen seared both sides 10- minutes. Fresh needs longer cooking time but it is pink side due to pink salt. It is delicious the way I remember as a kid. Will be buying their meat packages. So friendly so pleased with Frank's lucky i found Frank's in Pueblo.

Frank's Meat Market. Not to be confused with a deli. They have a good variety of meat cuts and a few prepared meats such as: smoked Kielbasa and seasoned chicken wings. Generally speaking the meat is fresh and of good quality. They have little to no selection of cheeses. There is a pair of small refrigerators near the entrance for milk, eggs, butter and a small selection of soda pop at a significant price markup. They have a couple of small freezers that usually contain locally made and grown items such as Potica bread and chilies. Parking is very limited; 5 cars or so. Leaving the parking lot is hazardous because of a building creates a blind spot to the west of Santa Fe drive. Do not be in a hurry because they never are. Be very careful to track what you order because they have overcharged me "by accident" and will overcharge you "by accident" The deli clerk does NOT write down price or product description on your packages instead they hand you a card with a hand written list of prices only that you are responsible for handing to the cashier. If you are purchasing more than 3 items YOU write down their respective prices. If there is a discrepancy the cashier will weigh your packages (including the paper weight) and charge accordingly. They try to remain the old style "Mom & Pop" store so expect a lot of chit chat from the store owner and the customer ahead of you while you are waiting to pay for your purchase.

This place has everything you could ever ask for in a meat market or deli at unbelievably fair prices. It's no wonder they get so many patrons from the city seeking refuge from the high price of prime level meat in Denver. I would highly recommend the kielbasa and any of their steaks. They also have a nice selection of cheeses, olives, and local grocery items.

A month ago I decided to start feeding my dog a "raw food diet." She enjoys the food I'm giving her: including the fruits and vegetables as well as meat. I went to investigate Frank's Meatmarket and they have a huge variety of raw foods to select for your pets. The service was awesome and the price was fine. I encourage you to visit the local meat market not just for your pets but for you as well.

Love Frank's Meatmarket! The cleanest pig feet I've ever seen. Great customer service and I would highly recommended this establishment.

My favorite place to stock up on meat! I drive down to Pueblo from Denver to visit Frank's. The selection of FRESH meat is outstanding! A definite must visit. Friendly and knowledgeable staff - a true gem in Pueblo!!

I drive here every week just to pick up a juicy rib-eye. If you're still buying from the grocery....I'm sorry.
