The Franschhoek Motor Museum exhibits a commendable collection of cars displayed across four large buildings. It begins with a clear, chronological display, which is excellent to understand the evolution of automotive history. However, later on, it stops, and vehicles appear to be grouped without any clear relevance. Maybe some arrived later, and it was too inconvenient to place them next to their chronological partners? To enhance the visitor experience, a little more context connecting the cars to key historical moments or better highlighting their technical developments would make it even a more memorable experience.
Getting to the exhibition is an experience itself, going through the beautiful landscape.
