Franziska Buda is located on a beautiful side street, not far from the Danube. The location is perfect, as you can sit here without much noise and have great conversations. The ambience is modern and chic, and it's great that the café is both child- and dog-friendly. You feel welcome right away. The service was fast, courteous, and very helpful. You can tell that the staff enjoys what they do. We were particularly impressed by the food: the selection is great, and the quality is excellent. A huge plus is the large vegan selection, which goes far beyond the usual. All in all, Franziska Buda is a perfect place for a relaxed breakfast or brunch. Highly recommended!

Lovely brunch spot with a cozy vibe. The salmon eggs benedict were delicious and perfectly cooked, and the coffee was just as impressive. Great way to start the day!

I stopped by this café near my Airbnb around 8:00 a.m. while my family was still asleep, recovering from jet lag. The staff were very friendly and provided excellent service, speaking English fluently. I truly enjoyed the peaceful morning ambiance—savoring a delicious early brunch (Turkish Eggs), the fresh breeze, and the soothing sound of birds chirping. The mango smoothie bowl was also fantastic, and my daughters absolutely loved it!

It was a great experience eating at this brunch restaurant. The food was really tasty, the pancakes were gluten free, the matcha was incredible and the ambient was calm and very cozy.

The best breakfast ever! Was recommended to come here by someone on YouTube from Budapest.....he wasn't wrong! It was the most beautiful food, gorgeous coffee, fab menu with loads of choice. Sad we didn't get to go back during our stay! Service was good, but it can get very busy so things did take a while to come BUT do not let that put you off at all as it's so so worth it. Really enjoyed it.

Franziska is a cozy neighborhood restaurant around the corner from Market Hall that serves fresh homemade brunch items with plenty of vegan and gluten free options. All orders are prepared from scratch, so allow some extra time if you have a busy schedule ahead of you. I really loved the Franziska Waffle: house made gluten-free waffle, spicy plum jam, greek yogurt, seasonal fruits, agave syrup, poppy seeds. For the drink, I had the kombucha which pairs well with it! Franziska has two locations, one on the Buda side and one on the Pest side, so visit the one that’s convenient for you!

A beautiful modern cafe within walking distance from the bastion. It was a great change in the food experience while we were enjoying all the hearty and fulfilling Hungarian cuisines every day, their food was healthy and also tasty. I loved my vegan toast and also non-fried waffles. The smoothies were also good. On a sunny afternoon, it is where you would like to be.

Food was fine but nothing special, probably the most mediocre brunch I had in Budapest. Baked goods were good, not that sweet. Service was rude hence the review. They double charged me for an item i asked to remake as the menu description was off even after i asked a clarification in advance to ensure i knew what i was getting.
