Massive portions. Apparently this place is very busy and packed on weekends, so be prepared to line up. You order at the counter and they'll bring the food to you. I've only been here once but my friends say they prefer the Pork Dip more than the Beef Dip. Sausage rolls had a nice flavour (a bit dry imo but still good). Staff was very friendly and they have some outdoor seating which is great for summers. Recommend!

This place wants to be Northern Cafe, cozy and homey, but fails miserably. You order your breakfast and are given a number to then go and find a table. People will show up after you, have not ordered food yet, have no number, but sit down at the last available table and insist it’s theirs. Not an enjoyable experience when the restaurant is full and it’s cold and raining outside. Tables may open up quickly, but having to shuffle around is also not a great experience. First come first serve should be just that, for tables as well. The food was hot, but nothing special. We ordered the regular breakfast, no meat (had a veggie cutlet of some kind that was not good) and French toast, which was mushy. My husband commented afterward that it was food he wouldn't have eaten, but he ate it because we paid for it. Maybe good in a pinch if you work in the area, but the atmosphere (see photo) and food (regular breakfast pictured) was not for me.

Plain and simple. Food here is great. I love how much food you're given for the price. Now I know why so many people come here. Truly a hidden gem. I will bring my wife and daughter here at least once a month. I can't wait to tell my family about this place. Coffee is self serve. The staff here are very friendly. Missing picture Pancakes 🥞 we were so excited to eat it we forgot 😂

An absolute gem! They were sold out of Schnitzel sandwich so I will have to return to try that one, but everything we had was very tasty and the portions were super generous - a very rare combination these days. The potato pancakes are really something, I was amazed! And the option of hazelnut coffee is just the final touch we needed. Definitely coming back!

This place is a hidden gem 💎 ...and yes their is a pig out in front of the diner, it's the family pet pig 🐖 The husband has a German background. The wife has a Filipino background and runs the kitchen. You first come up and order and pay. They don't do table service. When your food is ready they will call you. My favorites are the breakfast on the run sandwich, German specials, and adobo special. They do have a heavy day time presence for breakfast people coming in. Back in the day this place saved me. I had another full time job in the area and didn't have time to make a second lunch, cause I also worked a full time job. I was basically working 16 hour days. If it wasn't for this place I would be eating junk across the street. Thank you Fraser Park. You'll always have a special place in my heart ❤️

Google
Great place to go for breakfast. The staff are friendly and informative. The place is cozy. There is some seating outside too on a nice day. The food was really tasty. I ordered the Al's breakfast which comes with a big portion of pancakes. Which were really good, and bacon with scrambled eggs. My Dad ordered the regular breakfast with sausage. He said he enjoyed it. There is also a serve-it-yourself water in the fridge.

Lovely little restaurant in burnaby serving up some fabulous eats. We ordered an omelette meal and the German breakfast. The portion sizes are massive here. So worth the price. The German breakfast was delicious and had excellent bacon and eggs. The hashbrowns were very good too! The omelettes here are so filling and tasty. Loved it, it’s one of the best spots in burnaby for quick eats and great brunch and breakfast!

First time visit. Food was good, but the service was terrible. We ordered one engligh breakfast and German breakfast. My food (English breakfast) came first then it took forever to get my husband's order. We checked other customers who came after us who received same menu that my husband ordered. So, we kindly asked one of servers to check on our order, but she gave the look with very irritated feeling that we are asking something very unreasonable. We asked twice because I was almost finishing my food and the cashier who took our order told us that the order is coming. The server did not explain what happened or apology on delaying. They totally made mistake on missing our order but no explanation was given. We still remember her irritated face and thank you for ruining our weekend brunch date.

Yelp
This was a fun hidden gem in the area with spectacular food. If you like that hole in the wall feel, this is definitely it. Passes the vibe check! We left with SO MUCH food. Highly recommend!

Yelp
This is a German breakfast place located in the industrial area. Parking is available onsite. They are closed on Sunday. The are only open for breakfast and lunch. The restaurant is a bit dated but the food here is great. We came on a Saturday at around 11am. We were lucky to find a seat. The place was very packed. You need to go up and order first and they will bring the food over. I came here with a my friend J and B. B and I ordered the German Breakfast to share. The plate was huge. It came with cured ham, sausage and bacon along with 3 scrambled eggs and cheese, pepper s and onions. It also came with a sweet pancake, lots of potatoes and 2 full slices of toast. It was enough for two people. I also got to try their schnitzel and that was really tasty. It was definitely homemade. The schnitzel was not as flat as other places I usually get them from. Good prices and big portion size. I highly recommend trying this place out.

Yelp
Food was great, Ambiance was good. This is an out of the way place. You get a HUGE amount of food for your $. The quibble was that they accept MasterCard but not VISA. I was a banker for 30 years- never saw that, but I was in the States. We didn't have a MasterCard, and only had U.S. Dollars and felt we didn't get fair value as they only allowed for one Canadian Dollar for each of our U.S. Dollars. I know, Yankee go home....but our breakfasts were 20% more expensive than they would have been if they simply took VISA. We almost walked out but sucked it up!

Yelp
I may be having an unpopular review...but this place is basically (to me) a diner that is cheap and portion is HUGE, but the taste is mediocre. The diner is located in an industrial area in Burnaby and its neighbors look like they're storages/warehouses. We ordered the following: 1. Germany breakfast - had a bit of everything and the portion was extremely generous. The bacons were a bit too chewy. 2. Blueberry pancake - it wasn't as good as what i had read in the reviews. Yes, the pancake was HUGE but that was about it. It was just your regular pancake that you can get anywhere. Nothing unique. 3. Soup of the day - it was minestrone and nothing special about the taste. What i found most disappointing was the German breakfast. I've had authentic German food in various parts of Germany as well as outside of BC and they were all delicious. As a result, i was very much looking forward to having Germany breakfast in Lower Mainland. The food at Fraser Park tasted nothing like what i had in Germany. It was just a lot of food for the price tag.

Yelp
Hidden in a remote corner of South Burnaby, in an industrial business park is Fraser Park Restaurant, a gem of a restaurant that serves up some incredible eats for both breakfast and lunch. A word of caution: The portions here are huge, so make sure to come with an empty stomach! Featured here: German Deluxe Breakfast Al's Breakfast French Toast Quesadilla French Toast comes with 4 pieces for the full order, and 2 pieces for the half order. I opted for the half order and am ever so glad that I did as the two pieces were plenty enough already while still leaving me just enough room in my stomach to sample a few of the other foods on the table! Oh, and I absolutely loved my French Toast! Some places serve huge portions of food, but then the food itself ends up being just mediocre. Not at this place. This was one of the best French Toasts I've ever had! Even before taking one bite of it, I could already smell how good it was. I'd like to try new things on their menu whenever next I come here, but at the same time....the French Toast was just so good. It would be extremely difficult for me to resist ordering it again!  My thoughts upon seeing the German Deluxe Breakfast: "Holy mound of food Batman!" And the pancakes that came with Al's Breakfast...they were so huge that they filled the entire plate, so the bacon & scrambled eggs were served on an entirely separate plate. Oh, and the pancakes...they are the bomb as well! They were fluffy, filled with banana and soooooo good! There's a homemade hot sauce at this restaurant that is a "must try" for anyone who's a hot sauce lover!  If you're looking to skip over fancier breakfasts like croffles or eggs benedict and just want a casual place that serves up hearty, filling and tasty food then Fraser Park Restaurant has everything you need!  Service: Good Parking: Free Location: 4663 Byrne Rd., Burnaby

Yelp
One of our favourite breakfast and brunch spots. We usually have the German Breakfast plate which includes a 3 egg scramble with cheese, three types of meat, hash browns, potato pancake, and choice of toast. We always ask for the homemade hot sauce which has a nice tangy bite. The restaurant has character with ramshackle decor, mismatched tables and chairs. It's self serve and not always the friendliest but efficient. They often run out of items which can be a disappointment. The hashbrowns are uninspiring and definitely room for improvement on this item.

Yelp
An interesting diner that has been around for many many years, which I only recently stumbled upon on my way to Fraser Park. We came here for early breakfast - food and service was good! Ambiance reminded me of the traditional diner - where regulars would come to read the paper and finish the crossword puzzles. It wasn't too crowded when I visited (730am on a weekday) and one can relax and catch up on good chats with pals or enjoy a hearty breakfast with easy going vibes. We ordered the sausage samplers and breakfast poutine. Portions were quite huge and we couldn't finished the poutine. Sausage sampler was yummy with 3 different kinds of authentic German sausages. Breakfast poutine was also yummy and that dish came with loads of potatoes with cheese and gravy, chopped up sausages and 2 fried eggs. Home made chili hot sauce was a great complement condiment to the potatoes. If you order coffee, there's the option of regular and hazelnut, both you can refill on your own. You can also help yourself to cold water in the fridge. There's a free parking lot on the side and outdoor seatings are available. I would definitely visit again when in the area to try their soup and beef dip for lunch or sample more breakfast dishes options such as breakfast roll or pancakes.

Yelp
The food was huge and it was very tasty perfect breakfast Service was great too. The staff was friendly and accommodating If you stop by the area on Fraser shore, check it out the Fraser Park Restaurant you'll not disappoint

Yelp
EXCELLENT service and outstanding breakfast! A small but quaint establishment with a very "homey" feel to it. Many homemade items on the menu. Breakfast was served with hearty portions. Definitely can be shared.

Yelp
A favourite place for my cousin and I to get together for breakfast, Fraser Park never disappoints with first class food and service. Ambiance is casual family vibe which we always enjoy.

Yelp
Lovely no frills German breakfast diner cafe in the middle of an industrial park. If you live in the River District area, this is a nice bike ride to and from thru the Fraser foreshore park. There are picnic tables outside along with seating inside. It's seat yourself style after you order at the counter and they give you a number. It gets quite busy on the weekend so go early or on off times or weekdays. Great value for the money. Nothing extravagant or fancy or frilly. You get a mound of food if you order one of their breakfast plates. We had the German breakfast plate and the corned beef hash. Both of us had to bring it home. I seldom don't finish my brunch food but I probably got thru 1/3 of my plate. Leftovers for the next day yay! I've been told the grilled cheese sando is really good too. Definitely coming back but will have to make sure I'm prepared to be in a food coma for the afternoon

Yelp
Fraser Park Restaurant It has been a year to visit this place for breakfast again. We always order German Deluxe Breakfast It's the regular German Breakfast (3 eggs scrambled with sauteed peppers, onion ans cheese, served with hashed brown, sausage, bacon, ham, 1 pc potato pancake and toast) plus Schnitzel and Gravy $17.95 It always comes with 1 slice of daily fruit. Today is watermelon. German breakfast is their signature, so you can't miss it. Delicious and huge portion. Soup of the Day served with Toast $5.50 Clam Chowder This soup contains of the chopped clams, tomatoes with potatoes puree and spices... Very thick texture which is not the typical white cream clam chowder. It comes with 1 slice of daily fruit . If you have a tight budget for lunch, this soup will be a good choice to fill up your stomach. I share the breakfast and soup with my bf and we both feel so full for the rest of the day.. Yelp
It's been a long time since last visited here, it seemed like time haven't been too kind cause a little facelift might be an idea to think about. Still a very casual cafeteria style breakfast brunch place located in the business district of the south Fraser river area. Here were the food we ordered; 1. German breakfast. As always, everything were fresh and tasty, but wish the bacons weren't so chewy. 2. German breakfast deluxe. It's the German breakfast with pork schnitzel and gravy. The pork schnitzel could be a little more tender and the gravy was a bit too watery. Overall, it's a pretty decent place for a hearty breakfast or brunch because they are known for their generous portions, but the schnitzel and gravy this time around could be better. If you don't mind the cafeteria style service and a very casual setting then give this place a try for some tasty and hearty breakfast.

Dobson C.

Yelp
It's a great place to have breakfast with a menu that's a little different from the norm. The food is made from scratch and huge portions!! The menu is reasonably priced. Make sure you get the Filipino hot sauce made from scratch. Weekend's can be busy so try going on a weekday.

Yelp
Family of five ate here. Mixed reviews. The first item I must mention to you is that this is not your typical stand alone restaurant. It is hidden in an industrial park along with other businesses that seem like they replace transmissions. Not what I was expecting. I seriously thought my Google Maps was playing a joke on me when I was sent here for a breakfast place. Second item that I must note is that they do not take Visa cards. Fortunately, I have a Mastercard. But rarely use. Unlike my Visa that I use in my sleep. Was not prepared for this curve ball. My English breakfast was great. Enjoyed every bite. My son had a breakfast roll, which is similar to a breakfast burrito. But had an obscenely large piece of sausage inside. He had to remove the sausage. Daughter enjoyed her BLT. Fries were her favorite. Wife did not like her Club Sandwich. You need to ask her why.
google avatar

Edward L.

Yelp
Ghetto but beautiful diner in the middle of an otherwise seriously dumpy industrial park complex. Parking is available in their lumpy lot. Try not to hit the random bits of construction materials (concrete barriers, wood scraps etc.) when parking. Seriously. There's stuff all over the road. The row of buildings is rather neglected. The place is pretty dated. Looks like nobody has renovated since the 1970s. Special mention goes to what is probably the most ghetto cold water tap I have ever seen in a restaurant. It's literally a bathroom faucet attached to a board. See photo. Supposedly the place is run by real deal Germans (hence the German style food), but I didn't see any German looking staff there. Oh well. Service is casual but professional. There are quite a few options here. I tried the German Deluxe breakfast. Go big or go home. Wow they do not mess around here. The "3 scrambled eggs" is really a large omelette which is stuffed with cheese, onions, and peppers. On the other half of a place are hash browns (sliced mini potatoes) with another potato cake on top, and a pile of bacon (probably 5 slices) and ham and a sausage. That is the 1st plate which is the standard German breakfast. The "deluxe" portion consists of a 2nd plate with schnitzel and gravy, and 4 pieces (ie 2 whole slices) of toast. I managed to finish everything on both plates with some difficulty. There was so much food I was effectively knocked out for the rest of the day. Another special mention goes to their house hot sauce. It tastes like Sriracha (or something similar) with ginger added. My friend and I emptied out the bowl at our table. This place definitely needs another visit to try more of their food. Will be back at some point.
google avatar

Carolyn L.

Yelp
I have only been here for breakfast food. The portion is huge. Lots of meat. I tried both the deluxe breakfast (essentially German breakfast with schnitzel) and English breakfast. Both were good. The English breakfast was more manageable as there were mushrooms, tomatoes and baked beans to cut through the meatiness. The coffee (only 2 options - hazelnut and regular) was refillable which was a nice touch. Just help yourself to it. The place is crowded and sharing of tables is common. Just ask if you could share a table. When it is packed, the food can take a long time to arrive (45 mins or so). Don't come hungry as you will be hangry by the time the food arrives. It has plenty of regulars and the servers recognize them. Pro tip from a regular - pay $1 for extra bun for beef dip to make it 2 smaller portions so you can spilt it with a friend. Only if you are a small eater otherwise you may be hungry? Another must try is the home made hot sauce. It is so good. Ask for it. Free parking out front.
google avatar

Paolo M.

Yelp
Are you hungry? If yes, go directly to Fraser Park Restaurant. My foodie bro (actual brother lol) wanted to take me to this off the beaten path place for breakfast. I usually listen to him as he does write for an ongoing foodie column called "Never heard of it" and has always come through with places that are super delicious but you've probably never heard of (as the names implies). Anyway back to the food. Huge portions are one thing (think greasy spoon AMERICAN diner) but they pull it off with great taste and good quality ingredients. I had the German breakfast deluxe that comes with schnitzel. When it arrived I though how am I going to finish this? Funny enough I ate the whole thing and didn't even feel bloated after. I think this speaks to the quality of the ingredients. It wasn't greasy or oily by any means either. I also decided to try what looked to me like a homemade chilli sauce. It was reminiscent of sambal chilli and XO sauce. It must say pretty amazing (yes chilli sauce In a German restaurant - you'll find out why in a minute) My understanding is the owner is married to a Filipina and hence I do taste a hint of the cuisine here (German and Filipino is an interesting combo but certainly works as they both love their pork products lol). They also do offer some Filipino specials and fusions which I haven't tried but will do in my next visit. Overall a solid 4 stars maybe even a 4.5. Give it a try if you want a great breakfast in the South Burnaby area.

Bruce N.

Yelp
If you have a big appetite and can eat what two people can normally eat then the German Deluxe Breakfast is for you. Cheese, mushroom, sauted onion omelette, european bacon, sausage, ham, schnitzel with gravy, pan fries, German potatoe pancake and toast. Family run restaurant. Mama runs the grill. The ham, sausage, and European bacon are all smoked in house by papa. Friendly service. Delicious food and large portions at pre-Covid prices. If you're in a hurry try a fast food restaurant because here good food takes time to prepare and eat but it's well worth the short wait. The lunch specials are very tasty too.

Riley D.

Yelp
Service was very polite and we're very hard workers. Food was amazing and more than reasonably priced. This is my second time coming here for breakfast and both times were amazing. Pro tip: don't eat for a day before coming here. The portions are really big! Keep it up guys!
google avatar

Joseph P.

Yelp
This place is out of the way, in an industrial park, and close to an actual park that abuts the Fraser River, but if you get here you won't be disappointed by the breakfast or lunch fare. The meals are made with great care that you feel as though you're eating at a friend's house. Very often people ordering their food will ask for a container ahead of time as they're planning to take what they know they won't eat home. It's a compliment to them that their food is regarded enough that they don't want it to go to waste, and/or they'll share it with somebody else, or have it for a subsequent meal.
google avatar

Yelp
If you're looking for bang for your buck, and are not turned off by heaping piles of pork, then the German Breakfast here is the meal for you.

Yelp
Little gem of a place in industrial area. Great food and service. German breakfast the go to item. Very busy between 10 to noon. Expect 30-40 min wait for your food.

Yelp
A small place located in an industrial area,German and filipino breakfast is the specialty here. Free parking and amazingly busy, line up already considering we came like almost 7;30 am after our night shift at the hospital. The restaurant can house maybe 20 persons. They have a lot of choices for break fast that includes longanisa (Filipino pork sausage). Old and antique decors, that includes the chair and the tables, they have outside seating maybe good for 6 or 8 person, parking is free. Busy place that it takes a while for our order to be serve,The crew when we came were all Filipinos and they are very friendly. No hard copy of menu, like a small eatery all are written on the board.Coffee is not free. I ordered the schnitzel burger that comes either with fries, soup or greens, 2 Deep fried schnitzel with tomatoes and lettuce on ciabatta bread and it taste really good, three of my friends all had the German break fast, bacon, egg, ham longanisa and salad too plus fries and toast.we had the french toast, it comes with 2 or 4 pc we got the 2 pc just to taste and share, serving here i believed is more than generous, and aside from good food the price is really affordable no wonder line up is crazy. I actually not aware that there is a restaurant like this one in this area.Good i always search for break fast gigs all the time and i am thankful that i found this one...no single regret.. They also sells longanisa a Known Filipino pork sausage for breakfast,it comes with garlic sweet and spicy garlic flavor 5 pcs for $10, we bought 4 packs. its already cooked so just brown it in a fan or hrow them on microwave and you are all set. This is very good with bread and best to eat with garlic rice. I am not sure how long this place operates in here, but i heard from the cashier it was family owned and started 1997.Old place already maybe it needs some make over specially the wash room. Noise level is moderate to noisy, its always full and small so you can just imagine the sound people creates.... They practice social distancing and contact tracing, all of the crew wears mask and face shields...kudos to that Good for family and kids friendly. Accept cash, debit and credit card( master card only). I was amazed with this place and i love their foods so 100% i will come back in here..they open 7 am to 2 pm but in web it says 6;30 am not updated yet...close on sunday. they have daily lunch special which is a home made classic fresh each day. Congratulations to the owner.

Yelp
I'd give this place a 5 if it wasn't for their potatoes. I just wish they boiled and fried them longer. Some pieces still had that raw chalky texture and the skins could have been crisped a bit more. Other than that we were very happy with this place. The portions are my type of portions. Great value. A lot of meat. And I'm not too picky with eggs so they were good as well. I'll be back very soon. Info: - Open 7am to 2pm - Seating can become an issue due to Covid restrictions. - They accept MasterCard, but not Visa. - Self serve coffee - Condiments upon request

Yelp
if you haven't had there food yet then your missing out. great food and very friendly staff.

Yelp
This hidden diner has been a old classic that's been around for years in the Burnaby neighborhood. And they had even been featured on You Gotta Eat Here! It's the perfect hang over breakfast joint or a place to really fill you up for breakfast/lunch! They are not shy on the meat, carbs, or starch at all! We ordered the German Breakfast Deluxe + Sausage Sampler + Coffee. The German Breakfast Deluxe includes sausage, bacon, ham, and a Schnitzel! The size of this order is quite large you can likely share with another! But since it was our first visit we over indulged a little more with the sausage sampler - I loved the horseradish mayo that came with it! Coffee is refillable for free here - and is your good old diner coffee that is a bit more watered down. A great breakfast option that is out of your norm and not for the faint of heart! Be prepared for some stellar greasy goodnesses! And ask for Sylvia's special chili - it's a secret hot sauce that is housemade that has a light gingery and garlic kick that works great with the meal!

Kevin C.

Yelp
So good. Price is reasonable based on how much food you get. Definitely worth it. German Deluxe

Yelp
This restaurant is a bit out of the way. Just turn right into the last parking lot at the foot of Byrne Road. They have awesome food especially their breakfast. The German Breakfast is huge and extremely good value. Their pancakes with Blueberries , Chocolate and Bananas are awesome. Try their homemade Sausage in regular, langosta or spicy versions. All with tastefull Jazz and outdoor seating available , too.

Yelp
Basically I never give 5 stars but holy crap!! if you want big azz portions, a lot of meat and want a food coma and leftovers, be sure to stop by the Fraser Park Restaurant! Not too far from the Save on Foods plaza in the back. It's my husbands birthday tomorrow but since he has to work late we decided to celebrate a day earlier. I'm so glad we did. I haven't been back here for almost 6 years? Prices are still low, and interior hasn't really changed much but the food is still big, not too greasy and worth its price We ordered 2 German deluxe breakfasts with multigrain and iced tea. It's my husbands first time here and now I don't think it'll be his last. He just told me if he could, he'd eat here everyday. I told him, eat here everyday, you'll live a short life. Just look at my pictures! For $29.00 for everything we got potato pancake, scrambled eggs with cheese, peppers and onions, homemade in house sausage, poached ham, so much bacon, awesome flavoured homemade potato hash browns, toast, fruit and friggen schnitzel! HOLY CRAP!! I couldn't even eat 1/3, now we have leftovers for later. Just stop by, you WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED!! It's constantly busy so I suggest get early and beat the lunch rush!! They also have a side cooler with premade or frozen foods to go. During the 30 min we spent there, more than 8 customers came in and bought the soups and wraps. Guess that's our next excuse to come back sooner!!

Yelp
The roast beef dip with fries and gravy. A must-have. Well, pretty much everything is a must-have here. German breakfast, roast turkey dinner, fruit-topped-pan-cakes,...... I'm getting dizzy just remembering what dishes I've had.

Yelp
This restaurant is located in the industrial part of Burnaby by the river near the Riverway Clubhouse and golf course. The restaurant was busy throughout the time we were there (weekend between 11:00 - 12:20). When lunch hour rolled around the lines got extremely long. When we arrived, nobody greeted or seated us, so we stood hovering near the door for five minutes. There were a couple messages but it wasn't very clear what we should do. Eventually, we were told that we should line up, purchase, and find a seat (the staff bring the food to the table once it's ready). We were told there would be a 30 min wait due to the backlog of orders, which we were fine with. We got one German breakfast and a poutine breakfast, along with two coffees. The amount of food that showed up had both our jaws drop. There was quite an abundance of food. The store was super generous with their meat portions, which include bacon and sausage. I guess that's what makes it a German breakfast place. The hashbrowns were great and the poutine I ordered had an abundance of cheese. Honestly, I was full halfway through. This is definitely a place where u can get a plate and have enough breakfast for the next 3 days. Unfortunately this isn't the healthiest food, but I would definitely be back to try more (the soup is next on my list).

Yelp
This was the second time I have been here and it never ceases to amaze me how much food you get! I decided to bring my parents here for a breakfast surprise for my dads birthday, plus it was an excuse to come here again. My mom and I got the German breakfast and Dad got the regular. When we got our food we were not disappointed by the amount of food we got! The sausage, ham and bacon were perfectly cooked and they were full of flavour but not overly salty. The eggs were light and fluffy and very well cooked. The hash browns were sliced into decent sized chunks and were nice and crispy. And for the toast, well it was toast haha. I also got a coffee just to top it all off (coffee and water is all self serve so when you want a refill you have a choice of flavoured coffee and regular!) Overall this place feels very homey and the service is quick and very friendly. If you are looking for a place different than the big chain breakfast joints this is the place to go!

Yelp
Cute little German restaurant now in an industrial area. Super easy to miss when you are driving through this area but it is definitely a popular hangout for local staff. Their portions are huge for the price and just the right amount of grease. My bf brought me here since we both love breakfast. He had the German breakfast that comes with sausage, bacon, ham, 3 egg-scramble, toast and hashbrowns for only ~$9. I had the Denver omelette - ham, onions, peppers and cheese also with toast and hashbrowns. The only thing I didn't like too much was the cheese that they used. It tasted like american cheese, or some cheaper cheese that has a grittier texture. A little odd for me. They had a fantastic homemade spicy sauce that we ended up dousing on everything. Pretty spicy, so start with a little bit. The drinks are self serve at the front counter and you get free refills of coffee. I was told this place owned by a German man but taken over by another family. Thanks for keeping it the same says my BF.

Yelp
Found a little hidden gem from a friend, cute little local brunch place with some country style breakfast and a bunch of amazing sandwiches on the menu! I got their English breakfast-- I'm a sucker for beans and it was made so good! Beans and toast are defs my go to! Their breakfast poutine was amazing too, and if you're a thick pancake kinda person, then you're gonna love their pancakes there! (I personally like thing pancakes)

Yelp
My sis and I took bus 49 and 116 to get here and restaurant was already busy filled with customers. Some of them were industrial workers in safety vest having lunch break. We paid for German Deluxe($12.75) took a seat and waited for our food. It's self-serve here. German Deluxe was BIG enough for 2 of us. Food was good and schnitzel was tasty. I ordered coffee ($1.50) which was refillable and saw other people getting coffee refill. Decor looked very outdated here. We were the first timers here and noticed they got an Urban Spoon award for being kids friendly. Another thing is FP featured on You Gotta Eat Here when I noticed a sticker on the door. I'll go back to try their Beef Dip. If you get here by public transit 116 bus comes every 30mins. Took us about 40 mins here and it's faster to get here by car.

Yelp
I love the throwback to the 70s, how they have kept the same feel for decades. The portions are huge! This is the first time I can remember that I could not finish my breakfast!! The quality of the food is fantastic as well, that bacon he is perfectly crispy, and those pancakes... Well, let the pictures speak for themselves.

Yelp
If your hungry, this is the place to go. The portions are huge, I barely finished it. It's also really good and can keep you full until dinner time. I would recommend this place if your in the area or really hungry. I love the homemade hot sauce as well, has a little kick to it. The GF got Al's breakfast, she loved it but I'm not into pancakes. I got the German breakfast, I decided last mintur and opt for for the Deluxe, waaay to much food. It was delicious...

Yelp
Oh Em Gee this place is unbelievably delicious. The portions are great, the food is of a extremely high-quality and the service is wonderful. It's a tiny little place in an industrial area near the Fraser River but if you're looking for a great meal breakfast lunch or dinner this is the place

Yelp
This diner would fit right in with the best of Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives.   Good food, huge portions, great price.   This is one of those places you'd be fine splitting an entrée and a very large single pancake with one other person.   My go-to for a few days was the English Breakfast - eggs your way, tomatoes, mushrooms, baked beans, sausage, bacon, and ham for 9 CAD which is a lot of food for very little in USD.   It's a menu full of hearty, comfort food that will make you want to skip dinner entirely (if you choose to eat a whole entrée by yourself).   The German Breakfast is almost intimidating in a to go container cuz when you open it up you're staring at a monstrous mix of scrabbled eggs, onions, peppers, and cheese. Then they have all the meats underneath and enough potatoes to satisfy your potato fix for the entire day.   Their plain pancakes are great. Not necessarily the best ever, but very very good and very big. They have variuos fill in options that I haven't tried   I would advise against ordering the French Toast to go. What I got was super soggy by the time I opened it up. Dine in when you get that so you can eat it as soon as possible.   If you're in the mood for huge servings of tasty comfort food, you should swing on by.   If you're lucky, someone's adorable pet pig might be hanging out in front of the store with their doggies :)

Yelp
Whenever I'm in the mood for a good, hearty breakfast, my mind wanders to Fraser Park Restaurant. This diner located in the middle of a semi-industrial area has been serving up tasty eats for years and you're pretty much guaranteed to go away stuffed. You order at the back counter and then try to find a seat and wait for your order to come out. On most days, it's busy (especially during the breakfast hour) but the queue goes pretty quick. Their Denver Omelette is huge with 3 eggs, ham, onions, peppers, and cheese... not to mention the large side of potatoes, toast, and fruit slice. I opted for the German Breakfast but was disappointed because they were out of potato pancakes. Like the Denver omelette, this German Breakfast comes with 3 eggs but these are scrambled with sautéed peppers, onion, and cheese. This is a meaty plate with sausage, ham and bacon in addition to the hash browns, toast and fruit slice. I'm really feeling a craving for the potato pancakes they have here... I'll have to come back for a revisit soon. Well, it took me half a year to get a chance to come back here and I wound up ordering the same thing. This time, however, the German Breakfast did include one of their thin and tasty potato pancakes - score! If you're not in the mood for breakfast, they also have a lunch menu. If you show up on Wednesday, you can order their German Lunch Special ($8) which comes with poached ham, bratwurst, sauerkraut, and mashed potatoes. The ham was super tender and you get two links of that amazing bratwurst sausage. I tried ordering this one time before but I was too early so you have to time your visit right. I came back for a revisit a couple of weeks later and noticed that they had a new English Breakfast option (under $9 I think) which includes creamy baked beans, toast, ham, sausage, sautéed mushrooms, sliced tomatoes, and eggs prepared to order. Bit of advice: find the hot sauce that they have on the table... it's amazing!

Yelp
A simple place with hearty portions! The food here is very reasonable for the price and it's no frills. The location is in an warehouse area and you might miss it if you aren't paying attention. You order at the counter, take a number, and wait for your food to come out. Nothing too fancy, just really filling food!

Yelp
This place is hidden within the industrial area, literally a restaurant in an industrial building. If it wasn't for a sign by the road or word of mouth, you would never know about it. There isn't much around here besides industrial buildings. There is a constant stream of semi trucks. There are a couple of businesses around but not much. It is near the end of Byrne Road, close to the river. The portions are big. I ordered the German breakfast and i couldn't finish it. If you know me, I can usually finish my food. I can finish the big pancakes as Jethros and Jam Cafe and I finish the pasta from Anton's so for me to not finish, that speaks volumes. The value you get for the portions is great and the food is good. When you get there, have a friend save a spot as it is busy here. I had a friend save us a table, while I lined up to buy our food. There are a couple of tables outside to eat, if it is packed inside. You would order your food, and they'll give you a number and bring the food to you. I would definitely come back here but this time, I'll know not to eat the German breakfast on my own. =) **

Yelp
This would probably be one of my top choices to have breakfast/brunch. I ordered the 'German Deluxe' which is a regular German breakfast plus Schnitzel and gravy also I want to add that I saw longinisa (Filipino style pork sausage) on their menu board and ask the cashier of they could substitute the sausage that came with my order with longinisa and the cashier happily obliged, I gave that two thumbs up. Time: Our order took longer than expected but it's bcuz it got really busy when lunch started to roll around. Originally we were suppose to dine in real quick and I believe the cashier sensed that my friend and I was on a time sensitive schedule so she politley asked us if would like to have our order in a take out which was really nice of her to ask and noticed....remember patience is a virtue Price: I recommend this restaurant if you want get yourself some cheap eats during the day with real good portions. You'll get a bang for your buck. The most you probably spend on a meal is $12.75 + tax. They have a lot of delicious choices on their menu for amazing prices too. Ambience and Service: If your looking for a fine dining breaky spot this place is not for you BUT if you enjoy that home feel then this is the place to be. This place reminds me of my mom's or going to my Aunty's on a mid Sunday morning. Service is great and front of house is always smiling keep it up.

Yelp
Homemade sausage a MUST! My girlfriend of mine came to visit for the night, she needed to be on her way early in the morning. I've been wanting to go back to Fraser Park Restaurant for a while now, since it opened really early it worked out. We entered it was empty (this was not typical). I had the regular breakfast with the homemade German sausage, came with eggs, toast, hash-brown and fruit yes everything was greasy (except the fresh fruit) and it was delish! The servers are always really nice and coming really early in the morning we had the place all to ourselves. I love this place where else can you find homemade German food/breakfast place with all Filipina servers.

Yelp
Fraser Park Restaurant is this hidden gem cafeteria style food in a industrial area. I enjoy eating there or ordering takeout if it busy! And it is always busy due to their popularity over the years. Their homemade soup to their German Jumbo Breakfast are delicious and reasonable prices. For lunch I would recommend their beef or pork dip sandwich with fries or soups. Full size if you want to share comes with 2 sandwiches. Or schnitzel burger also amazing. My son personal favourite meal there. So definitely try this great place!!! 2 thumbs up ..... Take it from me! ‍Amazing Grace

Yelp
Such a cute hidden spot for breakfast! The inside is super cute and the breakfast is amazing! You order at the register and then sit down anywhere you can find a spot! The inside is kinda small but the turn over is quick! You will be sitting next to someone you don't know but it didn't bother me. The portion size is huge! You will definitely be full for hours. I ordered the German breakfast and my boyfriend ordered a regular breakfast. I couldn't believe how much food I got! The bacon was delicious, my scrambled eggs were so soft and the sausage was amazing! Only negative was that My potatoes weren't crispy. They were under cooked but I wasn't too bothered because I was really full I will definitely be coming back here!

Yelp
Came here for brunch one Saturday morning after seeing all the good reviews. It's kind of a hole in the wall in a random industrial park but the place was super busy at 1pm. We met this nice couple in line and they recommended the German breakfast. They said it would be a large portion but as I love pancakes, we ordered a side of their fruit pancakes as well. German Breakfast - a giant platter of meat, eggs and potatoes. I loved the three egg omelet with peppers and the amount of bacon was incredible. The potato pancake was a bit of a letdown but the home style fries were pretty good. My wife loved the sausage. 4/5 Fruit Pancakes - a little pricey at $9 for two but the pancakes were super fluffy and filled with plenty of cherries, bananas and blueberries 5/5 Overall, a great no frills meal at a reasonable price (under $20 for two). Wouldn't hesitate to come back again.
