My family and I love it here. We go to the shooting range often we also use bow and arrow at their target range as well. We go fishing here often. Catch all kinds of fish. It's an amazing natural resource day have for us in Southwest florida. It's beautiful to take your side by side go hiking shooting fishing almost everything available as an outdoor activity they have. The shooting range has handguns Small Arms rifles to shotguns to skeet shooting with shotguns but she got to throw them yourself. Which is totally fine with me. It's $3 for a person if it's just one and it's $6 for the car if there's more than one. If you have a family you need to come here and check it out and enjoy the good times.

A wonderful primitive camping place. Peaceful. Perfect for bike riding and kayaking and of course camping. I definitely recommend this for a weekend getaway. Only available to overnight camp Friday through Sunday. But you can bike or kayak any day. You do need to get a permit online to camp over weekend. But it's free. And only $6 a vehicle to park for the weekend. There is no potable water and no electric. It's completely primitive. But they do have vault toilets. The only flaw is it is near i-75 and you can hear some traffic. But not overwhelming. One of my favorite places!

The Babcock/Webb Wildlife Preserve is an amazing spot to bring your family fishing! However, you should keep in mind that there are PLENTY of gators present. So I recommend that you just be mindful of your surroundings and where you’re at. There are camp sites, parking spots, picnic benches, viewing platforms, and bathroom amenities available. Just please, please, PLEASE pick up after yourselves… especially if you can help it. I’ve found plenty of discarded fishing line and other junk while fishing. There’s even one pond that has a cast net stuck on a log at the bottom, which I unsuccessfully tried to remove. Let’s keep our parks beautiful and healthy for future generations to come enjoy! Entrance fees are $3 per person or $6 per vehicle. Other than that, safe travels and best of luck fishing!💯😎

This is a great place to revel in the beauty of nature. There are several boat launches, a camping area permissible on weekends, and it's away from the hustle and bustle. I have been to this area several times and usually there is no one there sans a few fisherman. It is located conveniently off exit 158 from 75 freeway If you look east it is the start of the Florida Everglades with 10s of thousands of untouched acres. Lots of wildlife (thought I saw a wild pig) and wildflowers, lots and lots of birds. Great spot to launch your kayak or canoe.

I loved it out here exploring the trails. Lots of wildlife Peaceful. Wind blows a really nice breeze out there. Saw lots of Gators, A HUGEEE RACOOON ALMOST BIG AS MY DOG which is a lab. Woodpeckers. Cardinals. And cows

Check for their hunting days beforehand. Most of the Preserve is closed during that time for hiking and general outdoor experiences. And it's set up in a way that you find out about the hunting restrictions on the ground only after paying the 10$ park fee. There is still a nice scenic drive outside of the hunting area, but that's maybe only 5% of the preserve.

Beautiful, quiet and a great place to hang out during the season until January 19th I love that you can camp anywhere you want once you make your reservation online and if you're lucky you get one with the view of the water and everything is fairly private and you can put multiple RVs in one spot if you're traveling with someone else

We go here all the time with my whole family. when we do go we always have an awesome experience but this one definitely stuck in. Special shout-out to Sue as she took her time to help us all out with no struggle, or complaint. She was very skilled and made sure everyone was safe. Was at the pistol range on 1/1/26. The range-safety officers are friendly and helpful--they do a great job of helping folks follow the rules, ensuring a comfortable experience for all. My only complaint is that the admission kiosk only accepts cash -- a credit card reader (or Venmo or even online prepay) would be awesome.

Nice place to go and shoot. Staff are friendly and helpful, yet strict with all the range rules...as it should be. I would suggest a better communication device for range cold or hot, such as colored lights at each station or a localized PA system. Sometimes hard to hear with ear protection. Other than that, I love the place. Short drive from Fort Myers Metro area.

This is a great local outdoor range. I have been to many ranges in my lifetime and this is a good one. Separate ranges for handgun and rifle, range safety rules, Range Safety Officers on-site, nice distance for handguns and long guns. Not sure what the other couple of reviews were doing Or thinking but this is a 4/5 star place!

I have been here a few times now. It's kind of a hike if you're from Naples, but there are multiple ranges for different types of weapons. The entry is kind of an honor system type of thing, you pay your six bucks per car and drop it in the box at the entrance. When you drive the half mile to the ranges, make sure to check in with the range master (I guess that's what you'd call him), grab your gear and get in line if it's busy. There's a pistol range, a high caliber/rifle range (you can bring your AR's, too), several shotgun bays to shoot clays, and then an expert rifle range that you have to qualify for. They do a good job here of making sure that all shooters follow the guidelines, keeping everything down range and safe when the lines are cold. They expect those not shooting to stay behind the yellow line, and all should sweep up their metal and deposit it in the bins at each range. Make sure to pencil in 2-3 hours if you want to shoot a lot, because this place is always busy. And, don't forget to be done and in your car by 4:45, because by 5:00, you'll have to spend the night (at least, that's what one of the workers warned everyone on my last visit). It's a great area, with a lot of natural wildlife around, ponds, lakes and a campground as well.

Great range. About 1 mile to the range when you drive into it at front. Terrific staff. Easy check in. 1st time here on a Sunday around 1pm. Pistol range almost full. If you get an open range you are your buddies can take turns shooting when the 12 slots are full. Bring self adhesive targets, I prefer the hi biz ones. You can move the target frames when the all clear is sounded Listen to the range master at all times. One one I met She was friendly just like the lady you sign in with. Here are my results shooting at the closest pistol targets. I retire in less than 6 months so I will be able to go there often on weekdays, I would expect it will be less crowded.

First time to this FWC range and great experience, I'd choose this over indoor range any day. Not the avid shooter and found by chance searching for indoor ranges. I called early morning and talked to Karen and no open reservations, but she said to come out in case of no show. Took the chance and was able to get on the pistol range. Sue at the range was helpful and friendly, even for his newbie. Range safety followed and looks like ever other station is open for use for all gun types plus there is a archery area too.

I went there for the first time 8 o'clock Sunday morning with my new AR15. I paid the $3 parking fee, then drove the half mile up to find the place packed and almost nowhere to park. The rifle benches were full, and there was a line that would have taken me several hours to get through. There was not even anywhere to sit because the bench was full of other people's gear and rifles. I had little choice but to turn around and go home. I guess you have to get there before they even open. I was pretty bummed about it. I won't be going back there.

They don't answer the phone....can't make a reservation. It's an outdoor range and they are going waaaay overboard with the flu precautions. I pay taxes...would like to be able to use the range.

I would not recommend. No signs or rules the employees don't explain anything until you do something wrong they are up your butt. It took forever to shoot with lines and the cluster of confused people. Nice idea but not worth the Crabby people and lines.

This is where I first started shooting! Great place! I also belong to a gun range that I love and go to frequently. I say that to say this: you pay 6$ to shoot whatever you want (reasonably). the clay pigeon area is great! I've never had any issues with the range officers, they've always been pleasant and helpful. For what you pay the amenities are excellent.

Great range. Not too crowded. Super nice people that were very helpful! We've been there several times and plan on going back.

I have been going to this range for a long time. Like anything else,it has had it's ups and downs. Completely renovated shooting benches,very well managed and just a lot of fun with a relaxed atmosphere! Anyone looking to go,by all means go! Staff has been expanded and are very helpful. Never have liked indoor ranges;for $6.00 you can't ask for more at Cecil-Webb.
