Probably one of the best pizzas we have had in a long time. The crust was cooked perfectly, just crispy enough but with the right amount of bubbly chew too. The flavor was amazing and the hot honey hit all the corners of my mouth. I am drooling thinking of this pizza now. I would put this in the top 5 pizzas I have had in recent years.

Freda’s is a beautiful restaurant that strikes the perfect balance between casual and comfort. The space is warm and inviting, with a stylish yet relaxed vibe that makes you feel instantly welcome. Gnocchi were amazing thoughtfully prepared, with portions that are just right. Flavors are rich, ingredients fresh, and the presentation is clean and appealing. What truly stands out, though, is the service. The staff is both kind and highly professional, attentive without being intrusive, and always ready with helpful suggestions. Whether you’re stopping in for a casual meal or a special night out, Freda’s delivers a consistently high-quality experience. A recommended spot for anyone looking for a great meal in a charming atmosphere.

I’ve been here for brunch, lunch, and dinner, and WOW! Atmosphere is always alive and packed, sometimes even hard to get a reservation! But that’s what makes it the best. Each meal never fails to be packed with flavor. My personal favorites, the goat cheese bacon pizza and lollipop buffalo chicken wings to share. And the petit filet for my main🤤 Always cooked and seasoned PERFECTLY!

I had such a wonderful experience at this Mexican restaurant! The food was absolutely delicious—fresh, flavorful, and perfectly seasoned. What really made our visit special was our waiter, Axel. He was so nice, friendly, and attentive toward my group, making sure we had everything we needed and alwayschecking in with a smile. It’s rare to find such genuine hospitality these days, and Axel truly made our meal memorable. We’ll definitely be coming back soon!

Went to this place for a late business lunch. I was surprised at how cool the vibe was. I thought the waitress was very friendly and accommodating. I really like the Lobster Roll and Caesar salad. It was also nice that they don’t close and shoo you out, as my meeting ran a little long and the staff was very friendly about it.

Do not recommend. Went for brunch and we ordered two French Omelettes that took over an hour. No napkins. No silverware. Had to constantly get up to get things ourselves. The food was mid too. Don’t waste your time. Better to go to Mcdonald’s for Breakfast.

Cute little new place! Pizza was delicious- had a shiitake mushroom pizza Crisp crust. Good flavor Friend had beef short ribs ( second visit ordered same thing) husband had a monstrous burger that he said was great! Zucchini curls appetizer a must have! Burratta salad had amazing heirloom, locally sourced tomatoes … our waiter Frank was fantastic. Busboys prompt with refills. Highly recommend!!!

My friends and I went to Fredas this weekend and decided to give their brunch a shot—it was incredible! We got a Dutch baby, which they said is like a German pancake, sort of a mix between a pancake and a soufflé. We shared one for the table, and it was seriously tasty—crisp yet fluffy, topped with this fantastic berry compote. I went for a French omelette, and it was delicious. One friend ordered the grits and grillades, which was awesome—cheesy grits paired with tender braised short ribs and a bit of spice. Another friend got the biscuits and gravy, and let me tell you, it was to die for—hands down the best I’ve ever tasted. We’re definitely going back!

Yelp
Quick Stop In.....Great customer service! We stopped in for a quick refreshment on a weekday night. An hour before closing, 8pm on weekdays, the restaurant has happy hour with select wine, beer and cocktails. We grabbed a couple of cocktails off the menu and settled in with some meatballs. The meatballs were spot on due to the yumminess of their tomato sauce that hit the spot. We soon found out that the owner of the yummy sauce was around the corner from the bar- we had the opportunity to meet the cook, Melissa, and learn about her secret recipe- First of all the sauce is homemade....and cooked for 8-10 hours with carrots, not sugar. The sauce is nice and thick with the perfect amount of sweetness. They should bottle this sauce! We also appreciate the great bartender Danielle (sorry if misspelled) who warm and friendly. Due to the great customer service we had during our short visit, we would definitely come back again!

Yelp
This place is a very cozy place with a cool vibe. It is also in a convenient location for my lunch business meetings. The waitstaff is very nice and welcoming. The waiter we had was also very good at staying on top of all our needs. I ordered The Lobster Roll ($35) and a French Onion soup. The lobster roll, unfortunately was extremely heavy on bread but very light on lobster. Frankly it was disappointing. The French soup ($8 or $9) was small and fairly average in flavor. I've been here a few times and recall giving a much better review, then. Something must've changed.

Yelp
Since hearing good things about Freda's I wanted to give this place a try for my bday. We sat outside and the view was nice. Service was a little slow since there was only one waitress. But she did a great job. We ordered the spinach & artichoke dip and mac & cheese bites first. The spinach dip had a soupy like consistency and immediately left a bad taste in our mouths. The crostinis were the highlight of that appetizer. At first bite the mac & cheese bites were okay, however the longer we ate them the more the taste declined. My son had the chicken nuggets and fries. I ordered the chicken scallopini and my husband the cubano. I'm sad to report the only thing good between the dishes were the fries. According to my son the nuggets were "awful." My pasta was so bland I couldn't finish it. My husband was not a fan of the cubano and also mentioned how bland tasting it was. The only saving grace was the nice chocolate cake I received for my birthday. Turns out they just hired a new cook. Unfortunately, we weren't the only ones to feel this way, we overheard another table say they refuse to pay for their food as it was just as bad. EDIT TO ADD: 3.5 stars We went back the next day and tried their wings, cheese pizza, pepperoni pizza, and the cheeseburger. I'm happy to say the second time around the food was much better, however it wasn't anything to write home about. Overall, I'd say Freda's is a hit or miss and idk if we'd honestly go back.

Yelp
Based solely on my first visit I would've given this place 2-3 stars. I came on an off day. However the manager served our table and was insistent on knowing what we really thought of the dinner. My kid was the first to be vocal about his chicken not being to his liking, followed by the missus and her chicken scallopini, then myself on the appetizers since my Cubano was decent and the fries were good. There was a rush when we came, lots of tables sat at the same time, so the manager insisted we come back and try it again since it was my wife's birthday dinner and didn't meet expectations. We had the Mac n cheese bites, the chicken scallopini, spinach artichoke dip, kids chicken tenders, a chocolate cake, and the cubano. The only thing that was pretty bad was the runny spinach dip which was more of a soup than a dip. We came back the following day and it happened to be happy hour. It was a night and day difference. The pizza was delicious and my kid said "this is the best pizza ever!" We ordered a cheese pizza, pepperoni pizza, and buffalo wings off of the happy hour menu, along with cheeseburger. Everything was good and the pizza was my favorite. Food came out quickly this time, and we took home the pizza we couldn't finish. Based on this experience we would definitely come back. That's this critic's review, until next time, I'll be eating.

Yelp
Met a friend for dinner and we were seated on the outdoor patio. The ambience was pleasant, but the service was virtually nonexistent. After waiting 15 minutes, I finally went inside to find someone just to take our drink order. Unfortunately, that set the tone for the rest of the evening. After we placed our food order, our split dishes arrived un-split and without any place settings. We had to flag down another server to request extra plates and cutlery, and it took two separate reminders to receive these basic items--our own waiter was nowhere to be found while our food sat getting cold. The food itself was excellent, but the service was abysmal. Overall, a truly disappointing experience, and I would not return.

Yelp
Incredible food! Great service! Hit it for happy hour. Wings. Pizza. Drinks. You won't be disappointed!!

Yelp
We first visited Freda's when they just getting started at this location. They were so new that they didn't have their liquor license yet. We recently returned, and brought a friend with us to enjoy an early meal after we'd done the Camarillo Hospice Garden Tour together. Our friend/neighbor can't handle gluten, so she was happy that there were options on their menu for her to try. She went with an order of salmon pizza. It came out looking gorgeous, and she loved the taste. There was plenty to take home and for her to have lunch for the next day. For my part, I noticed that they had lobster roll on the menu, and an instant craving was born. Dear Hubby and I decided to share the lobster roll entree, which came with a generous amount of fries. We also got a side Caesar salad. It ended up being plenty of food for us as the lobster roll has a very rich, satisfying taste. It was very yummy, and I'd be happy to order it again. We could have opted to sit outside, but a large party was taking the whole outdoor space. We were cozy inside and received great service. The bar is definitely open now, and Freda's is in full swing. We got there early, and they quickly filled up, so our timing was good. When I went to the restroom, I noticed an interior room that I didn't know existed before. I asked one of the staff members about it. It's the right size for a small group gathering. I think it can hold about 20 people, and it's separated from the main dining room. If you were having a business meal, or a family celebration, it would be a great space in a history building to enjoy. If you haven't tried Freda's, I'd suggest putting it on your list of local gems to experience.

Yelp
We met our friends at Freda's who had not had the experience of dining there and much to our surprise Freda's just started serving brunch and as always Phil and his amazing crew continue to serve fabulous and delizioso entrees. My wife and I are very partial to Freda's and truly believe in supporting local businesses especially when they continue to bring quality service that serves amazing dishes. We sat outside and enjoyed great weather on a Sunday afternoon, if you haven't been to Freda's you are missing out. Great ambiance, happy hard working staff that takes pleasure in serving you, prices are reasonable and with the full bar the cocktails are just as good as the overall dining experience that Freda's brings. Brunch, Lunch or Dinner you can't go wrong with this amazing local businesses especially so please try it, you won't be disappointed. Mangiamo!

Yelp
This is a nice welcome to the evolving landscape of High Street. On approach, it seems like it's a Victorian style saloon. But push past the doors and it's light, bright and modern. Think barn with a chandelier kind of aesthetic. They offer lunch and dinner in the small dining room. In warmer weather or with heaters, you can enjoy the veranda porch outside seats or the side patio seating. The menu is solid. A few sandwich choices, a few pizza choices, a few salads and a few mains. There is something for everyone. Yes, there are a few apps and happy hour too. The food is California cuisine. We got happy hour drinks and I very much enjoyed my margarita. It comes served in a high ball. I loved that. My husband enjoyed a Boylan non alcoholic soda. We liked the big steak (20+ Oz) and the chicken parm plate. I got a side salad with honey mustard and really enjoyed it. Steak was cooked to order, it comes with a butter sauce on top, I recommend asking for that to be light, it was a bit too much for our preference, but easy to scrape off enough. We took home leftovers and had a second dinner the next night and a pizza for friends. Our friends loved the pepperoni pizza saying it was good crust and plenty of pepperoni. All in, $130 + tip. We went big, could have just had a pizza and drinks and been out for around $40 + tip. Less if stick to happy hour menu. You can find a way to stick to a budget, just depends on hunger, any drinks, and food desires. It's small, so it's busy. I loved to see customers pouring in. We need more good restaurants in Moorpark and Camarillo! I don't recommend it for families, it just doesn't have that little kid feel to me, but if you sat outside on a nice evening, it could work. It's a mix between a night out and casual with an old friend catch up kind of place. Happy hour is Tuesday-Sun 3-5, 8 to close. Staff are so nice and willing to assist as needed but happy to let you enjoy yourself. Parking is limited so may need to park on street. See website for more details.

Yelp
It was really good. Food and service is on point. A little small in the main room. Flat iron steak was good.

Yelp
I've never done two reviews on the same place before, but tonight's dinner was just that good. Our server was Danielle, and she was exceptional. She was very busy but still had the ability to be very attentive and friendly. We started off with a Catorce lager and a Coco mojito. Both were great. My wife went with her favorite, the lobster roll sandwich, and I had one of the specials, a roast beef Po'boy. It was a really well made sandwich. Wonderfully thin sliced roast beef on an excellent sandwich roll. So many times you order what sounds like a great sandwich on the menu and it ends up being a disappointment with barely any meat on a tiny sub roll. This is definitely not the case at Freda's. I was glad to hear it when Danielle told us they were going to incorporate it into their menu. Just a wonderful casual place to have a good meal in a pleasant atmosphere.

Yelp
This place is a hidden gem in Moorpark! The food is phenomenal. The brussel sprouts are a must-order. We ordered the lobster roll and the chicken in the lemon butter sauce, along with some cocktails. All of it was fantastic. Great place for a date night. Will definitely be back again!

Yelp
I love this restaurant! The staff are all so friendly. The food is consistently delicious. The cocktails are amazing and it is an upscale yet casual atmosphere that makes you feel comfortable while you enjoy your meal. I highly recommend this restaurant!

Yelp
this was our first time here. The parking was easy and the place is really pretty. We sat inside because it was so hot outside. The tables are pretty close together and one of the downsides is there's no covering on the window so the sun just blinded us at our table we ordered a salad and some pizza. It was OK, nothing spectacular about the salad or the pizza. A little too much bread for my liking on the pizza. We did order an appetizer of the zucchini ribbons, which were very good. It was an OK meal nothing fantastic. We may or may not be back.

Yelp
A hidden gem in Moorpark. Danielle was our server. She was very sweet and took good care of us. The food was delicious. We enjoyed the meatball sliders and a pizza. Nice ambiance.

Yelp
I celebrated my birthday over the weekend and it was such a wonderful experience. The food and drinks were amazing and everyone had a great time! Our waitress was so sweet we love Danielle. It was a birthday I will not forget!

Yelp
The interior is cozy and nicely decorated - I'd suggest making a reservation because there's not a ton of seating. We did reserve our spot and it was slower around 5 pm. Seemed to pick up quite a bit after that. The waitress was sweet and helpful. Food was outstanding! the Diavola pizza was super cheesy and had a great blend of spicy/savory. We really enjoyed our night out

Jennifer M.

Yelp
Great pizza, salad and appetizers. Got to go and see the cute little quaint restaurant this is.

Yelp
We went there the other night for dinner with no reservation and they were booked! Waited half a hour. Pizza, gnocchi, and originally came for the tomahawk which they no longer served. Decided to swap for the fillet. Wow! The only "complaint" I may have is that the gnocchi were a little more dry than I'd like but they still had good flavor and consistency. The fillet: amazing! The flavor was great and the seasoning was perfect! The grilled carrots were a nice touch but even better? The Brussels sprouts! I'm not the biggest caper fan but whoa. One of the top dishes I've had with greens ever. Fast forward past the pizza (how can you go wrong) to dessert. We ended up trying everything they had, crème brûlé - 10/10 flavor light airy and not overly sugared! Apple cobbler: 11/10 yep one above. The apple was similar to the old school Marie calendars with the sugar on top and the mixture of ice cream to cobbler was like an apple pie à la mode. I'd get this alone, after the Brussels sprouts of course. Lastly, the chocolate mousse. Normally, too rich for me - I can't give it a number rating as it's not fair as someone who's not normally a fan but I'll say this. I did enjoy it and the next day when we went to heat it, let's just say a minute in the microwave and it was melted! This tasted like brownie batter just warm, gooey, molten chocolate. This place is a hidden gem and I think we will have to do drinks and steaks next time!

Yelp
Decided to try this tonight with a friend since we had a discount with the InKind App (heads up, they don't take this anymore unfortunately). We got seated right away. We ordered the Daviola pizza, burrata salad, and the beef and veal meatballs. Everything came out at the same time and fairly quickly. Meatballs were delicious, loved that it came with a lot of sauce, had so much flavor and loved that they had Parmesan on top. The pizza was delicious! 10/10. The burrata was ok, 7/10 it needed more flavor and the tomato's were not ripe enough. Overall food was delicious!

Yelp
My husband and I found ourselves with a rare, last-minute kid-free Friday evening and decided to treat ourselves to a local date night. We love supporting local businesses, so we headed to Freda's on historic High St. Even without a reservation, we were seated on the patio, which always has such a great vibe. The server set up a heater for us, and despite the chilly night, it was cozy and beautiful. We started with the Mac and Cheese Bites--crispy on the outside, gooey on the inside, and absolutely perfect as always. My husband ordered the Bone-In Ribeye, which came with a choice of soup. He went with the French Onion Soup, and I had to sneak a bite. It was hands-down the most flavorful French Onion Soup I've ever had. I'll be coming back just for that! When our entrees arrived, we were blown away. My husband's ribeye was massive, perfectly cooked, and paired with creamy mashed potatoes. Every bite was packed with flavor. I opted for the Filet and Lobster, and wow--unbelievable! The filet was so tender it practically melted in my mouth, and the lobster bisque on top was rich and decadent. The portion was generous, and every bite was perfection. The service was impeccable, the ambiance was lovely, and of course, the company was the best part. Thank you, Freda's, for making our impromptu date night so special. We can't wait to come back!

Yelp
What a great little gem in Moorpark. My wife and I popped in on a later Saturday afternoon. We split a pizza and salad. So good. So fresh. Our server was fantastic. You know where they check in with just the right amount. Not too much to pester you or ignore you. I peeked over at the other tables and the food looked so great. Also loved being able to sit outside. This is So Cal so enjoy the outside (we pay for it).

Yelp
I really enjoyed my lunch here and want to come back again. High Street has several good dining options and this is one of them. I like how the menu is not too huge and I look forward to trying more food. I appreciate they have a kids menu as well. The place is not too uptight but was nice for a business casual meal with a friend.

Yelp
THANK YOU DANIELLE for your INCREDIBLE service when attending to my very high maintenance 90 year old grandmother. She is obsessed with Sand Dabs and orders them any time they're available, and she has a very specific way she thinks they should be cooked, and you know what - when I'm 90 I'll have earned the right to eat things the way I want them as well. She had gotten them from Freda's before, made the way she wanted, so I think she was expecting them to be different than they were. When they didn't come out to her vision of crispy perfection, you (and the blonde host with glasses - I didn't get his name!) were truly SO KIND and made her feel heard. You didn't make her feel bad for asking for the chef to re-make it. And the CHEF - omg! She completely changed the way she cooked the sand dabs by breading them and then pan frying them specifically for my grandmother - JUST to make them the way she wanted them. Which was so above and beyond what was reasonable. THANK YOU SO MUCH! I'm so sorry to say that D@MN WERE THEY GOOD LIKE THAT so unfortunately, you will now need to add this version to your menu because we ate every bite of them and they were delicious. (Not to say that they aren't delicious as-is!!!!!!) Everything else we ordered was amazing, everyone was so attentive and kind, we felt welcome to stay as long as we liked and I think we accidentally closed you out. AKA we are the worst sort of customers and you just all absolutely made our night!!!! THANK YOU SO MUCH!!! Be warned that we WILL be back, and I'm bringing the Queen Sand-Dabber with me!!!!!! (a threat and a promise) (Picture shown is not of the sand dabs, but of my club sandwich, Caesar salad, and diet coke - name a better trio, I'll wait.)

Yelp
Excellent food quality and friendly service. Made a reservation which really helped since the place is small.

Yelp
Located off of High street this cute establishment offers a very nice ambiance. We really enjoyed the outdoor seating. Also, the service is very nice and the greeter was very attentive and nice as well. I felt that the weight staff was very attentive and providing great service in terms of the food. It was really good. We really enjoyed the white salad along with the brussels sprouts and as well as the goat cheese pizza.

Heather S.

Yelp
Super cute place on High Street with excellent food! I had the gnocchi with chicken and our group shared the fruit cobbler and banana cream pie for dessert. Will definitely be back!

Yelp
The best restaurant in Moorpark 100%. We had Alabama wings, cheeseburger and lobster sandwiches. E V E R Y single dish was amazing, some magical sauces along with super fresh and tasty ingredients. And the best of all- all at reasonable prices. Our server Lucas was just outstanding, so nice and social, made us feel super welcomed. Definitely coming back as gotta try the rest of the menu. And the building also so unique and beautiful, love it!
google avatar

Jennifer C.

Yelp
So impressed!!! Their wood fired pizza is amazing and you can literally taste the fresh ingredients and that the pizza dough is made from scratch. I would highly suggest adding meatballs to any of the pizzas, as they were a huge hit with our family. We will definitely be back to try some of the other dishes that caught our eye!!! The staff was equally as great, so if you want a meal to remember, stop by Freda's.

Yelp
I really had high hopes for this place. High Street has always had a special place in my heart from memories of being a kid. Unfortunately this place did not impress. Walked in on a Thursday evening around 5:30pm to have dinner for my mother in laws 75 birthday (told the host about birthday). Was told only outside seating. Was told not to worry if we were cold to ask for heaters. Got cold, asked for heaters, told they were out of propane. Beer and soda came in can. Waitress didn't pour it or even offer. Waitress didn't even seem happy about being there. Food was mediocre and average. Didn't offer dessert or a birthday treat. Ambiance was nice, love the old building and decor despite eating in the colder weather. Would rather eat at M on high st or Lucky Fools. After reading other reviews not expecting much a response since the feedback was just copy and paste replies. Hopefully they change some things and make improvements.

Yelp
I just loved this place so much. It truly feels like a small town place to see everyone you know. The servers are always friendly and helpful. I have never had a dish I didn't like. Today we did the happy hour (go, great deal!). The chicken wings just fall off the bone. The pizza has such good crust. I love the chocolate mousse, probably the best I've had.

Michelle M.

Yelp
Used to be delicious. But now the food has ZERO flavor and is just bad overall. Took the leftovers "to go" and immediately threw them into the trash, where I also found a lot of other to go boxes... I gave 2 stars because the server was great.

Yelp
If you enjoy good food, drinks, and top notch service then you definitely need to stop by for a meal soon!! I had the pleasure of meeting Phil, one of the owners, at his pizzeria, also called Freda's, located in Thousand Oaks. The menu is more extensive, a bit more pricey & upscale with a full service bar. (And yes, you should keep your workout clothes at home for a change...just sayin) The location is beautiful in old town Moorpark. As soon as I parked, walked up the steps & entered the restaurant I was in love! The quaint tables, windows and lighting were welcoming. We sat at a table near the bar which was perfect. Our server Lindsay took very good care of us. She answers all of our questions and recommended the brussel sprouts & my chicken scallopini which were both absolutely scrumptious! My friend also enjoyed his ribeye steak. What an amazing meal we had. I will be back again and again and again... *I highly recommend making a reservation since the dining area is not huge. You can sit by the bar as well. *Patio dining should be available in the warmer months. *Free parking on the street - limited parking in the lot. *The food is incredible here. *FYI - They do serve their yummy pizza here. *Family friendly

Yelp
Food was Excellent!! service with Cherie was fantastic. I will be definitely back to this restaurant multiple times! What a great find for me and my friends

Yelp
Wow! What a horrible dining experience we had ! It started with the hostess who wouldn't seat us because she was confused about the reservation. The food was flavorless and the service was awful. It took 45 minutes to get our food.

Yelp
The server, Cherie was excellent. Patient, thoughtful, made suggestions to the menu. The wings and pizza are amazing. Worth the drive from Ventura.

Yelp
Meeting friends for dinner and conversation. Because it was a very warm night, we looked to eat indoors. However, the noise level was so loud that we not have been able to have a conversation. So we opted for an outside table. Close to sunset so it was cooling down and it ended up to be a very good choice. The outside tables are on a deck in front of the restaurant so it is close to High Street. But not a lot of traffic at that hour on a Sunday night so car noise and smell was not an issue. Our server, Diego, was out immediately with a welcoming smile to get our drink orders and tell us of the specials. Service was friendly and excellent throughout. We started with a shared shiitake mushroom pizza for the table as an appetizer ($24). While attractive to look at (see photo), we were all in agreement that it was just meh. For my entree I ordered the BBQ chicken salad ($18). It comes with a generous sized chicken breast. BBQ chicken salad is one of my go to orders when trying a new restaurant. This one just wasn't very good. Not bad. Just not good. One of friends also ordered it and felt the same way. My wife got the Cubano sandwich with a side of fries ($18). She described it as blah - very disappointing. On the plus side, the fries were outstanding! In summary, the pluses: Free parking lot next to the restaurant, nice patio in front for outdoor dining, and excellent service. The negatives: noise level indoors would make conversation impossible and three out of 4 dishes we ordered were meh at best. We will out be going back any time soon.

Yelp
This was our third visit since their opening. It keeps getting even better. We had a reservation and upon or arrival we were promply seated. They honored our request to be outside which was very enjoyable. The man at check in also checked on us a couple of times. Great personality. (didn't get his name. Emma was our server. She is so delightful and took great care of us. The menu has many choices and everything we have ordered now and in the past have been very good. We will be going back.

Yelp
First and foremast.. the service is outstanding! Danielle and the rest of the staff provide the utmost hospitality and has the ability to work the entire room. Food is delightful between the lollipop wings and the signature pizza, my family cannot get enough! So happy to see some new dining options coming to sleepy Moorpark. Not to mention, the barrel aged old fashioned.. NEXT LEVEL!!!! It's a must try. We'll be seeing you soon!

Yelp
Food was delicious. The service was fast & friendly. It is a small restaurant. It gets packed very quickly. There is outside seating.. it is located on High Street in Moorpark.

Yelp
We have been to Freda's multiple times. Food quality is great with good price points. Service is always good both at a table and the bar. Glad to have this little gem in town to get a good cocktail and food.

Yelp
Pizza was cold when picked up, kept in a corner with other take out orders piled on top. Just your average New York style crust with minimal toppings, nothing impressive or worth another visit.

Yelp
Freda's has brunch on Saturday & Sunday and it's amazing!! I had the crab cake Benedict and my husband had French toast. Both were wonderful! The service was wonderful! It was a beautiful day and we sat outside. Freda's is still my favorite restaurant, especially now that they have brunch.

Yelp
What a pleasant surprise!!! Pros The location is great Generous parking Indoor/outdoor Seating Good menu for a soft opening Professional and friendly wait staff The food that was offered was very good Con Still no liquor license Upon entering no real hostess station- a bit awkward Though the sauce (on the side) for my short ribs was too thick- seemed out of a bottle The table we sat at had food on the chair and underneath the table Overall I will return Worth trying other items Welcome to Moorpark!

Yelp
Freda's is in soft opening mode so the menu was limited and the bar was not open yet. There were 5 of us so we had a number of different dishes between us. I enjoyed the Cheese Pizza. The other folks liked their dishes as well. Service was top notch and Danille, our server was fantastic! It was raining outside so the outside tables were not being used. Inside got pretty crowded and you could tell that this restaurant is going to be very popular. It was a little noisy as every table was taken. As it was crowded it was a bit loud, but we could still hear everyone just fine. As it is the soft opening phase I will need to return to post a more complete review.
