Google
Nice, quaint, user friendly and newly built airport with friendly staff in the retail shops . Quick access to the rideshare area. Easy pickup. Departure a couple of days later was also very easy and efficient, even getting through TSA was a breeze!

Katina F.

Google
Easy rental return and navigation to the airport. Not a long walk. Smaller airport. Nice staff. Easy check in and security moved right along. Very clean airport. Love using this airport whenever possible.

Google
I’m specifically writing this review about picking up at the arrivals. Make sure when you’re picking up they are outside waiting for you, bc otherwise security will be in your face. I was there for less than 3 minutes as I was waiting for the people I was picking up to walk outside, and security was literally in my face. She made me really uncomfortable like I was doing something illegal. I drove around one time and even when everyone was loading into my car she STILL was watching me. Absolutely ridiculous. I understand they have a job to do, but you don’t have to be so scary to do it. Learn some common courtesy. I’ve picked up at this airport dozens of times and have never experienced this until recently. So be prepared to have unfriendly security to deal with or just wait until your arrivals are at the curb waiting for you so you’re not hounded.

Google
Lovely little airport. The weekly car parking was extremely busy. Once inside everything is very clean. The gates are easily accessible. The staff are friendly. The bathrooms are immaculate. Best thing is they have full doors with no gaps!

Google
Roc international airport? roc on (get it) this is my hometown airport and my first time here. it was nice and clean. we (me and my mom) parked far from the airport but a dude in a bus took us right to the entrance. And that Dunkin? That would make my review 10 stars. Best Dunkin ive ever had

Kosta R.

Google
Small but efficient airport. Plenty to places to eat and clean restrooms.

Google
Picking up arrival passengers is a complete mess and thoroughly obnoxious. It used to not be like this, the airport used to be very convenient and easy to pick up arrival passengers. It has already happened twice recently when I have driven up to the arrivals area to pick up my gf after coming home from her business trips, the airport staff are immediately, like within 30 seconds of me pulling up, in my face telling me 1) I need to move my vehicle right now, even as my gf is already right there and is about to place her luggage in the trunk, and 2) I need to keep driving around the grounds of the airport until my gf is out on the sidewalk to be picked up, even though she is actually already there on the sidewalk next to me ready to be picked up, and ready to place her luggage in the trunk. Not exaggerating at all. It's crazy. They are doing this even when there are barely any vehicles in the arrivals area. I was also told by another airport staff that I had 3 minutes to pick her up, even though she was already there ready to place her luggage in the trunk. I got really annoyed and told him to literally start timing me. We were of course done and out in less than 1 minute. I'm literally NOT curbside waiting for many minutes. I'm literally there to quickly pick up my gf who is ALREADY THERE on the spot and the staff are hounding me anyways. If anything, it prolongs the pickup because now you're debating with them while the arrivals passenger is already there ready to get picked up to go home. My gf was very unhappy with their attitude and gave them a dirty look. What an unwelcome way for a passenger to come home to Rochester. I can imagine a first time visitor getting put off by this unfriendliness and unhelpfulness upon arrival in Rochester. Literally I'm considering making use of the Buffalo Niagara International Airport instead next time I'm air traveling.

Google
If you pull up, and drop someone off, be prepared to be told your going to get towed if you don't move your car. If you picking someone up, and their plane has landed, be prepared to be threatened by security, and then by the police, this place is on lock down 24/7, and they don't care who you're waiting for, all they care about, is the money they getting for all those tickets they can write. Easily the worst airport in NYS. Always under construction, and it's never going to be finished.

Yelp
What a great airport! So clean! Small (not overwhelming like most others) very chill/quiet. Easy in and out! Car rental counters and pickup locations all right there-easily accessible! Same with returning the rental car! for someone who is not a fan of airline travel, this was a great airport experience! Looking forward to coming back!

Yelp
This international airport( I never seen an international flight) has gone through several major constructions phases in the last years.. The first was a face lift to beautify the exterior appearance with color lights and such This second construction has blocked entrances. Departures have to enter by arrivals. The people that do the projects have brains that are defective at best. No one to provide wheelchair access for disabled people from the lower level to the upper level. The elevators got an upgrade, they are modern, spacious. Before only a few people could ride at once with bags. It seem that for a little airport they have spent lots of money in a city that has a very high poverty level. It does look nicer.
google avatar

Barry B.

Yelp
Flew out this afternoon. Nice airport with good food options. They have old school video games you can play for free in the B Concourse. Great way to pass the time.
google avatar

James R.

Yelp
I was expecting an older airport but Rochester feels new. It has high ceilings and was easy to navigate. There was an early morning TSA surge but I made it through quickly. There are several food offerings which was pretty good for the size of the airport. This airport has many very early flights.
google avatar

Wanda R.

Yelp
Exceptional airport experience truly leveled up,! One of Rochester's greatest works. tThis is for sure competitive with any metropolitan airport so polished everything is very New Age in addition to recognizing our African-American ancestor who founded this city and everything that makes it amazing thank you the City of Rochester and the airport officials for making this airport a really great experience for travelers near and far.

Yelp
I fly alot. Same ID card with tsa precheck. So why did they stop me at the screening area and send me back to the ticket counter saying my info isn't correct. The counter was puzzled and sent me back without doing anything but shaking their heads. Now I go through with the same id and my information is correct. I have no idea what the problem was and why this happened but because the hotel didnt set up my shuttle and I had to make other arrangements I was running behind. I managed to get on when they started the boarding and ended well. But that tsa area experience makes zero sense. Can't say I can fix things to prevent it from happening again. Never had this issue anywhere. That set me back 15 minutes for no reason and to go through the line twice. The restrooms were disgusting upstairs as well as in baggage claim. Overall I was unimpressed. Isn't the worst airport I've been to but it's pretty close to bottom tier.
google avatar

Lea H.

Yelp
They've done upgrades and more are planned. It's an easy airport to navigate. There are some limited food options once you're past security.
google avatar

Rachel H.

Yelp
I honestly think it's such a shame that this isn't really a layover airport because it has everything I love when looking to spend more time than usual in an airport: a robust children's play area, courtesy of the National Museum of Play in Rochester; lots of booth seating to get your sleep on; plenty of food options; relatively quiet; clean restrooms with nursing alcoves; and a ton of outlets. I never regret spending time in this airport.
google avatar

Tara R.

Yelp
Have visited this airport 4-5 times this year. Just the essentials! Small airport with two concourses. Dunkin' , subway and a couple other sit down restaurants. Lots of seating with large windows right after security. They do have a pre check line but they do not use Clear. Fairly clean-lots of detail work such as cleaning windows and columns that needs done.
google avatar

Becca D.

Yelp
Flew into here recently and was pleasantly surprised. It's a nice small airport. The bathrooms by baggage check were very clean and newly renovated. We rented a car and it could not have been easier. The booths are right across the baggage claim area. The actual cars are in the lot across.
google avatar

Ophelia M.

Yelp
I've flown in and out of Rochester on a few occasions and this is a nice little airport. It's a small airport but feels very open and spacious. Each occasion I flew in here I rented a car and getting to the rental cars, navigating in and out of the airport--all easy-peasy. It has a few dining options (honestly more than many of the airports this size that I've flown in and out of). On my last visit, initially I tried to swing in Subway which they have at the beginning of the gate area. They, however, had a sign that they could take cash only that day (who has cash?). This was lucky for me as when I walked further into the gate area, I found other options with more local flare. They have an open concept shop that felt so much more spacious than most airport shops. The service is always lovely. No complaints!
google avatar

Daniela H.

Yelp
So tiny and one line for TSA precheck and one for regular to access the gates. Extremely slow TSA precheck service so slow it's makes you think if the $100 was worth it. I did appreciate the scanner belt was automatic instead of needing a manual push of your suitcases. Long walk to the terminals with one main entrance to all gates. Love the convenient parking garage directly across the airport. No need to take a shuttle to the parking area just walk!
google avatar

Tammra S.

Yelp
Greater Rochester Airport is a quaint, small-scale atmosphere, providing a refreshing contrast to larger airports. Navigating its compact layout is a breeze, offering a seamless and stress-free experience. Quick in and out. Plenty of parking. Plenty of space to pick up travelers. And they have my dream car right outside the gate I seemed to always be assigned.

Mark K.

Yelp
I rent from this location one or two times a month. Avis and Budget cars are poorly maintained at this location. Most of them smell like pot. They are dirty. They have basic maintenance issues (low tire pressure, needs an oil change, etc). No one is there to help should the car not be acceptable. Much better with Enterprise or Hertz...dont due Avis/Budget
google avatar

Michael M.

Yelp
Clean modern airport. Convenient to get to. Not many flights arriving and departing, fast security processing. Upset this morning that I was preselected to fulfill a quota for a intensive search. Luggage inspection took 15 minutes and full body pat down . Embarrassing and not necessary!
google avatar

Casey G.

Yelp
Very small international airport but it has all of the amenities one may need. Shops, food and a really cool arcade for waiting. It has gone through many renovations. Four stars instead of 5 because without a better rental car process (grab keys and go) it's not that travel friendly for frequent travelers when it comes to rental cars.

L H.

Yelp
This is the second time I have flown out of this airport in early evening and absolutely everything shuts down at 7 o'clock! No Hudson, no bars no restaurants just vending machines ridiculousness!

David L.

Yelp
This airport is terrible. Delays are awful and while we were waiting 4 out of the 5 places to eat were closed at 5pm. The staff are overworked and wanted to close at 7. The food was undercooked and no one at the flight counters knew what was going on. Do not fly out of here.
google avatar

Christopher B.

Yelp
TSA is always understaffed, Brooks Avenue and the parking lots and roadways need to be fixed. Pretty clean everywhere.

John B.

Yelp
another classic at ROC - forgot to fuel airplanes overnight - several of them - now delayed - baggage claim is a joke wonder who runs this place?
google avatar

Gordon V.

Yelp
Airport is getting better. I like that they carry a lot of local merchandise and food items. American Airlines personnel are friendly and efficient. I wish there was a lounge and maybe some stationary bikes. Flight deck diner has a very unfriendly employee and we stopped eating there because of him.
google avatar

Joe K.

Yelp
Worst baggage retrieval of any airport in the world. For such a small airport, the bags should arrive in minutes. Instead they take almost an hour after plane lands. It's a joke. They likely have one person handling bags. What a joke.
google avatar

Lissa G.

Yelp
It's an airport and it's difficult to get too excited about that, to be honest. That being said, it's a small international airport we've used twice for travel visiting family in upstate New York. It's pretty clean, everything looks updated, I love the huge mural of Frederick Douglass (though it should be in a more prominent area, I think), and everything is easy to find. I saw the arcade and thought that was cool; we didn't have enough time to play it and I had no idea it was free! I would have finished my beer more quickly and made my way over had I known! There are worse places to be while waiting for your flight.
google avatar

Dennis K.

Yelp
This is an airport. It's small. It's easy to get in and out of. They have some food. Security wasn't a nightmare. Taking a connection to get here is a chore, but I would have had to do the same to Buffalo or Syracuse. And this airport was nicer than Buffalo.
google avatar

Jen R.

Yelp
This is an easy to navigate airport and it has been updated. Parking is pretty smooth and you can get your rental car from here in the baggage area. They have some local foods here and treats to take to loved ones and other places for food and drink in the airport. TSA went smoothly but be prepared if you are here early let's say around 8 and certain airlines may not have any staff until 40 minutes later. Unfortunately that was mine and a few other's issues. Granted you can do a pre check in and etc but while waiting I had a flight cancellation and so did some others. Luckily I got my luggage sorted and unfortunately I flew on United and had to pay a baggage fee. Other than that it's a nice place to wait around for your flight, tidy enough and it's an airport. It's smaller, way smaller than O'Hare, JFK, DFW and etc but it does the job.
google avatar

John F.

Yelp
Great airport! New, clean and fast service at baggage claim. Comfortable seating areas, clean restrooms and looking like enough charging stations to accommodate travelers who need to charge up devices during a wait or flight prior to departure. Great airport.
google avatar

Gregory H.

Yelp
It's a small airport, without much in the way of amenities. The shops and restaurants here are clean, the terminal wings modern and kept clean, free of debris and garbage. Compared to COS or Melbourne (FL), this place ROC's (see what I did there?)!
google avatar

Mark M.

Yelp
What a nice airport! We parked in the Airport's economy lot ($7 per day) across the street, and the friendly shuttle driver had us at the airport in just a few minutes. It's a nice, modern facility with lots of open space. I forgot I had a Leatherman knife in my carry-on, and the TSA were really cool about it. They escorted me back to the front airline counter to check my bag (otherwise it would be a $15 service fee plus postage to mail it back to my home. Our AA gate wasn't that far of a walk from security. Lots of seats at the gate.
google avatar

Yelp
Wow! I was so impressed on my first visit to the airport. Growing up in Niagara Falls I have always flown out of Buffalo, but now living virtually the same distance from both the Buffalo and Rochester airports, we flew out of Rochester on our most recent trip as there was a cost savings. I didn't know what to expect upon arrival but I was impressed with nearly every aspect of our experience. I was thrown off initially as friends had suggested long term parking, but there was no sign for it. That of course isn't the fault of the airport itself, simply the communication with my friends. We parked in the shuttle lot, which I felt was good in terms of price. Both leaving, and returning (at 2 AM I might add) the shuttle was warm and immediate. The inside of the airport was really nice, it looks like it has been redone, maybe recently? From the check in counters, to the security, to the food area it looked great. There were much more food choices than I had anticipated. It was great! The best part though, while we walked to our gate we passed some video game machines which caught my husbands eye. We headed over to them only to find out no money or tokens! Old school games, my favorite! After a round of packman, space invaderes and pong, I didn't even have to crack open my book until we boarded the plane. My husband is definitely ready to plan another trip so that he can play the video games again! I will definitely be sure to compare prices and will probably lean toward Rochester for my next trip!

Yelp
Oh! I never thought I would ever say that I love airports, but Rochester Airport has changed my mind! This airport is awesome! If only every other airport was like Rochester! It looks like, based on some of the videos I was watching at the Rochester Airport, that it was recently remodeled. All of the terminals have new chairs, with really nice couches and private seating areas as well! The bathrooms were spotless and well-kept. I ended up stopping into Rochester Airport twice, coming into NY and leaving NY with connecting flights each way. On the way out, I had a 5:30 A.M boarding flight with 6:10 A.M departure. In the morning at Rochester, it felt so empty on a Saturday morning. Some of the airlines weren't even open with customer service representatives, such as United Airlines, until 4:00 A.M. TSA-Pre wasn't even open at 4:00 A.M. I had to actually walk through the normal security check-in. Other places were closed as well at around 4:00 A.M. The subway was closed and a few other restaurants. I ended up stopping into Dunkin Donuts for a Bagel, Bacon, Egg, and Cheese sandwich with a drink. [2] main reasons why I love this airport so much! [1] Video game hall of fame information. There is a section where Rochester has information on video game history, tons of super cool collectibles on display and retro-video game arcades, such as Rampage. I wish I actually had more time to frequent this airport often! [2] The visual colors for notification. It has a variety of different hues depending on the situation at the airport. The staff is super helpful and friendly at this airport as well. Going through normal security check-in was relatively simple and painless. All flights departing and arriving into ROC were on-time. Car Rental was fairly simple. Car Rental is located on the first floor, with the exit to the car rentals to the left of the enterprise car rental location. Great airport!
google avatar

Amanda F.

Yelp
Apparently the airport was renovated. I had never been there before. It was super nice. Lots of upgraded chairs, couches and seating areas. Bathrooms were clean. Not a lot of stuff open real early in the morning. No coffee, alcohol or breakfast. So I took a nap in the gate area. You can charge your phone easily; there was an outlet on the chair I was sitting in. Boarding was simple. There is a hotel right across the street that you can walk to. They also have a shuttle if you can't walk or it's raining. Rental cars available on site. Easy in and out at this place.
google avatar

Brittany S.

Yelp
What a spiffy airport! Rumor has it they've recently undergone updates and it shows. I especially appreciated the large stained glass window installation that is visible after you've gone through security. I couldn't help but snag a picture! This airport is on the smaller side and very easy to navigate. I also love that its only a 15 minute drive from downtown making it easy to pop in and get where you need to go. My only complaint/suggestion is that they place more emphasis on local dining options within the airport. Given the trend of airports showing the flair of their surrounding communities, this would be neat to see at ROC as well. Overall, a very positive experience and impressive airport.
google avatar

Carlos A.

Yelp
A five star airport...whaaaaaaattt?? I thought Phoenix was pretty nice, but ROC was just luxurious, and very pretty. So many amenities, like power at most seats in the waiting areas, and counters where you can work with your laptop, also with power. The restaurants are top notch. Everything was CLEAN. Absolutely spotless. And both the airport and TSA staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. Amazing.
google avatar

Peter D.

Yelp
I stand by my previous assertion that this is a clean, lovely little airport. Having flown through many, many airports in the eight years since I last reviewed ROC (as well as ROC many times as well), this is consistently the place where I get through security fastest. Even with a baby, as I do now. There are not as many amenities as other, larger airports, but they do have wi-fi and a little Western New York flair...by which I mean they now have garbage plates. So if you like speeding through security and feeling terrible for your entire flight and probably a day afterward, this place has you covered. It's small and quick, and even if it isn't exactly enjoyable, at least it isn't a hassle.* Which is much more than you can say for many, many airports. I'm looking at you, Atlanta. _________ *That's what she said. To me. And I'll take it.
google avatar

Jean K.

Yelp
Lots of renovations are happening at GRIA and it's looking fun and beautiful! Colored lights cycle through blues, greens, and purples on the outside canopy over the departure area while inside lights alert travelers to active boarding areas or even emergency situations. The lights are not only beautiful and functional but they give a lively, warm feeling while you wait to board. The Strong Museum has provided some levity in the gate area with a giant working etch-a-sketch and an electronic match game. Also, check out the giant plane replica suspended from the ceiling. I am loving the upgrades to ROC so far and can't wait to see the finished product!

Robert B.

Yelp
Most of our travel include flying through Fredrick Douglass International Airport. Overall beautiful, and usually everything is fine. The luggage is slow to get to conveyor system has been noticed more than once. Sometimes multiple planes land and the luggage will be combined on one conveyor and the other conveyors are not in full use. Seems strange. Most recently, we sat on the tarmac for about 80 minutes without being allowed to deplane. Reasons we heard ranged from "other planes are already at our gate" which seems like poor planning obviously. We were held up on tarmac because a tug "ran out of fuel". This caused delay over and over again. We ended up taxing around the tarmac to keep out of the way of incoming landing planes. Seems like a waste of time and fuel as there were other gates not in use.
google avatar

Jen K.

Yelp
We've flown from here many times, and I'm grateful that we have an easy airport to fly from. There are barely any direct flights to anywhere, but you can usually fly to a hub in the early morning, and get to your destination in the afternoon. We were taking our usual 5-6am flight, and we walked out the door a little later than expected, so we arrived at 4:15. We're usually there right at 4:00, so it shouldn't have made much difference. We parked in the lot across the street, and it was the most full our bus has ever been. We picked up several people and got dropped off. The line at JetBlue was not moving! Someone was checking like 10 suitcases, so maybe that was the issue, but all we needed to do was bag check and it took a long time! Once our bags were finally checked, we headed to security. That line was pretty normal and took the usual amount of time. We got through security, went to the bathroom, and our flight was boarding. It's never taken us that long before, and we usually sit for like an hour before we even board. Maybe it was a fluke, but perhaps all these renovations are really bringing in more flights and making the airport busier? If so, they need more staff, too. In regards to the renovations, I'm not impressed at all. All that money to light the arrival terminal outside and make all the gate numbers blue?? And to add all those restaurants when 90% of the people going there come at 4am and come home at midnight?? We came at 4am and all the new restaurants were closed. And then we came back after midnight, and guess what!? All the restaurants were closed! And you used to leave the airport on the left or right hand sides, which is right in front of the gates, which makes sense. Well now, you have to walk back to the center where security is. I am guessing this was designed to make us have to walk past all those closed restaurants at midnight! And then to get to the shuttle, we had to walk back over to the other side. Like who's idea was this? Make a small airport as inconvenient as possible!? And if we're going to waste all this money on renovations for an airport that didn't really need renovated, can we please do something about the luggage situation?? We were the only flight to land, and we sat around for 20 minutes waiting for bags to come out. And it's always that way. All that being said, when we went to leave, several shuttles were waiting for us and took us right away. And both of our flights took off and landed on time, which is the more important part.

Taylor N.

Yelp
just sat in a plane for a hour and ten minutes waiting to pull up to gate i've flew well over 100 times and that is absolutely ridiculous to wait over a hour to pull up to a gate to leave i'm very disappointed in our local airport and because of this will probably go back to driving a hour to buffalo and flying out of their airport seeing as with a hour delay pulling into the gate and another 45 minutes to get our bags we could've landed in buffalo and driven home by the time we got out of rochester airport and not one thing was offered to any of the passengers what a shame on our local airport and southwest airlines i'm very disappointed
google avatar

Kevin B.

Yelp
I've flown in and out of many mid-sized airports but this has been my favorite so far. The concourses were modern with lots of natural light. The restrooms were clean and also appeared recently updated. The free play arcade games exhibit from the Strong Museum of Play were a blast. The close proximity of the rental cars was convenient. And check-in and security screening on a Wednesday morning were a breeze. We'll definitely plan on flying here for any future trips to upstate NY/Buffalo/Toronto.
google avatar

Rose V.

Yelp
This airport is small and does its job. I usually tell family members to call me once they land, then I will leave my house to get them. Baggage claim takes awhile anyways. I'm happy to see Uber and Lyft at the airport now. The airport can get quite busy in the morning. Checking in and going through TSA doesn't take that long. People that are 75 and over do not have to take their shoes off. This must be a new thing but I had to empty all my snacks and drinks into a gray bin. There aren't too many food options at the airport: Dunkin Donuts, Red Osier, Genesse Brew Pub, Familagia, and Subway. Eat before or after you get to the airport. The planes leaving ROC are on the smaller side. Sometimes even with a carry on, you will have to leave it so they can check it in. There's not enough overhead space for them. The airport is meh but hopefully with all the renovations it will become better.
google avatar

Debeli A.

Yelp
You wouldn't think much of Rochester's airport but it is one of the best airports that I've been to in the USA so far. The inside is clean and all the people there are amazing. I've never had any issues at this airport. I recommend getting a massage from one of the massage chairs while waiting for your flight there's also a bunch of food options if you're hungry and want to eat before you go, my favorite is subways! never be afraid to ask for a complementary upgrade to first class
google avatar

Mariah H.

Yelp
I've never had an issue at this airport. It's not usually very busy, and the security line (when there is one) moves quickly. Limited food options (but they do have a couple places if you're hungry) and they have Dunkin which is all I usually care about (caffeine please). As airports go, I have no complaints.
google avatar

Megan C.

Yelp
Quite a bit to love about this airport! The last few times I've flown there's been virtually no line at security, the staff at security is usually quite friendly and helpful, and there's ample parking at a variety of price points. Food options have absolutely improved, though I do wish there was an even greater focus on local faire. I am a little sick of seeing the videos of construction on the outside archway st every. gate. - but I do enjoy that nice entrance into the airport. Weather of course leads to a lot of delays and cancellations here, but overwhelmingly my flights go out and come in without issue. I am gearing up for a December filled with quite a bit of time in this airport and am hopeful my luck doesn't change! Love the video game hall of fame and how easy to airport is to navigate. Looking forward to hundreds of trips throughout my lifetime!

Apple S.

Yelp
This airport is not as small as you'd expect yet everything goes fast! No waits I dealt with, friendly staff, easy security. Everything appears clean and maintained. Very modern looking airport.
google avatar

Bill L.

Yelp
Clean and renovated but WITHOUT any restaraunts except nasty fast food. The only 3 restaraunts that offer descent food have terrible hours and some are not even open on weekends. This airport needs more services. Also the WIFI is non-existent even though its advertised. The Google Maps and airport directory is also not updated. I think I'll drive farther down to Buffalo or Syracuse next time if I have to wait for a long flight rather than use Rochester.
google avatar

Mynika C.

Yelp
My first time at ROC and it was such a breeze. I didn't know how small the airport was. Like super small and very convenient. I kept being told that I could get dropped off an hour before and be just fine. I prefer to get to any airport early so that I can get through security and go rest my nerves. Airports are anxiety provoking for me and I do not have that kind of time on my hands! The airport provided what you needed. Nice big store for getting souvenirs/snacks/last minute items. The staff was nice as well.
google avatar

Breanna B.

Yelp
The ROC airport has gotten a major facelift! Now the airport looks much better and is still a breeze to get through when traveling. The rainbow lightup awning at the drop-off area is gorgeous. Makes for a photo-worthy departure! Then, they revamped the security area with a new design and layout. Visually it looks wider and way more visually appealing. I'm not sure if the redesign was intended to help with the security processing, but lately I've had wait times under 5 minutes to get through security. There are a few new food stations going in, including a Taste of NY restaurant featuring local and regional goods like Glen Edith Coffee, etc. The beautiful stained glass window display is highlighted now so it's the first thing you see when you walk out from the security checkpoint. There are new displays and a cool Strong Museum setup with old school video games. Additionally, they got rid of the two separate exits as you're arriving from you destination and you go down an escalator in the middle of the airport near the security checkpoint, which also makes the flow to baggage claim more central. There's more to come, but so far I'm into the revamp and loving the design, and loving how easy it is to get through the airport without delays. Next up... direct flights to major cities, pls. Yelp
Looks a lot prettier than it did before. I came here about 3 years ago when renovations had begun. This time around, it's all complete. Very colorful decor and screams happy. I also saw more restaurant choices as compared to before. Will see how the security is when I come back for my return flight.

Yelp
I just took a flight from this airport and it was a great and hassle free experience. I arrived close to boarding time by mistake because it had been almost 2 years since I took a flight due to the current world situation. I flew JetBlue. Check in and bag check were quick and efficient and there was almost no line for security. It was ab early flight, so not sure what later in the day is like. I didn't have time to check out any food options, I'll do that next time. Great experience overall.
