The resort is quite dated and in need of some basic updates, as others have mentioned. While the place itself is okay, what really stood out was the lack of cleanliness—there was trash scattered throughout the bar and beach area. I saw a baby diaper on the first day, and it was still there three days later when we checked out. The beach had a lot of plastic and other debris, which was disappointing.
On a positive note, the staff at the beachfront restaurant were very kind and welcoming, especially the young men working there. The food and views were great. However, the owners were not as accommodating. I requested a room change because mine was next to the reception, where people were frequently picking up and dropping off motorbikes, making it quite noisy. There was a vacant room next to mine, but when I asked to switch, I was told it was reserved. However, it remained dark and unoccupied the entire day.
Additionally, I had issues with hot water, and despite the mosquito nets, the room had a lot of mosquitoes—I had to spray constantly.
The worst part was the last two days when they were burning something, possibly plastic or tires. The smell was incredibly strong and toxic, making it impossible to stay outside for even a minute. I have no idea what or where they were burning, but it was unbearable.
Overall, while the location and restaurant staff were great, the lack of cleanliness, poor maintenance, and unhelpful management made the stay disappointing.
