Free Food Tour Amsterdam

Alessio was our tour guide and we had a marvelous walk with him on a Sunday morning around Amsterdam. We sampled delicious Stroopwaffles, frites chocolates, herring, and cheeses. It was an amazingly informative and engaging tour and he told us a lot about the history of Amsterdam in addition to the food that we were eating. He also gave us suggestions of some of his favorite places to try, which we really appreciate in the city of food like this lol!

Sebastian did a great job of telling us the history of Amsterdam mixed in with its food history. Along the way we sampled many great products that are only made in Amsterdam and learned about their history.

This was an incredible tour taking us all over the city! Nadine was knowledgeable and a great tour guide. Totally recommend her!!!

My husband and I participated in this tour and absolutely loved it! Sebastian is an excellent guide who not only showed us the most iconic foods of the Netherlands but also enlightened us with the history behind them and many historical moments that were emblematic not only in the country but also in the United States, which we were completely unaware of. If you're going to Amsterdam, this tour is definitely a must-do if you want to learn more about the city and country through its food!

Ethan was a hoot! He kept the energy up on the cold rainy day I did the tour. He actively stayed engaged with the group bringing the laughs while educating us on the food and city. Highly recommend taking his tour!

Gerban was a great guide. We tried herring, so many sweets and he kept up a great running commentary. He obviously loves his city and the food.

Just finished the food tour with Sebastiaan - wow! What a fantastic experience. A great combination of history, culture and delicious food. The herring was probably my favorite 🐟🥰 Sebastiaan really made the history of the city come alive, and knew so many interesting facts and connections about Dutch and US history combined. 10/10 highly recommend this tour.

Enjoyed the food tour with Misael. We were well fed and had an enjoyable stroll around a few neighbourhoods on the tour. A fun few hours would recommend!
