Free Food Tour Amsterdam

This tour is as informative as you choose it to be, Nadine, as a native, is so knowledgeable about the Dutch culture, in addition to kind and thoughtful. She took us to try herring from a really traditional place, we also tried stroopwafel that is served warm, mini pancakes, peppernuts and cheese, warm drink was included which was very welcomed and I am so glad considering we did this on our first day. Considering the amount you pay you get quite a few bites, she also gave us some samples of traditional cookies, chocolate, liquorice, beer and even mints. Overall a very nice experience if you are looking for some guidance into what you should look for during your hols to experience traditional food.

We had a wonderful experience on our food tour today with Sebastiaan! He was incredibly knowledgeable, kind, and engaging throughout the tour, and made everything feel effortless and enjoyable. We learned a lot, ate great food, and felt very well taken care of. We were very pleased with today’s tour and highly recommend Sebastiaan!

We had a fantastic food walking tour in Amsterdam with Mish. He was extremely well informed, not only about the food but also about the city’s history and politics, which made the experience even richer. The food samples, chocolates, and cheese were generous and the tour is truly worth it.

We had an amazing food walking tour in Amsterdam with Mish. The tour was really great, and we were able to sample a wide variety of foods, including chocolates and cheese. Everything was well curated, and it’s absolutely worth completing this tour.

Alessio was our tour guide and we had a marvelous walk with him on a Sunday morning around Amsterdam. We sampled delicious Stroopwaffles, frites chocolates, herring, and cheeses. It was an amazingly informative and engaging tour and he told us a lot about the history of Amsterdam in addition to the food that we were eating. He also gave us suggestions of some of his favorite places to try, which we really appreciate in the city of food like this lol!

Highly recommend! Our guide Marius was an experienced local guide who did an excellent tour which was perfect for me. He went above and beyond my expectations of a great tour. I enjoyed the tastings especially the herrings and also learning about how life is in Amsterdam.

Sebastian did a great job of telling us the history of Amsterdam mixed in with its food history. Along the way we sampled many great products that are only made in Amsterdam and learned about their history.
