What a gem! I visited Free Thinking Zone some time ago, in search of a rare book I was after. It has since become a favourite hangout. The bookshop boosts bestsellers and excellent collections from thought leaders on politics, history, communication, diversity, activism and liberal ideologies. You can also find unique, quirky gifts for kids & adults. If they don’t have it in stock, they can order it for you. And they can also arrange delivery for large orders. The owner is always on hand to suggest titles and exciting reads for all ages. Love it! Would highly recommend!

Cozy bookstore with character. Dont hesitate to ask the owner anything about books or politics, you ll get a good conversation for free!

This beautiful bookstore cafe opens earlier than reported on Google; it opens at 10. When I arrived, I was greeted by Arete, who helped guide me through the store’s English-language collection. Although she did not have the specific book that I wanted, she graciously referred me to another store that did. I will be sure to return!

Your "Bookstore plus" in Athens. It's a bookstore, plus a place to listen and discuss about books, or about ideas, or read books while having a coffee. In the era of Amazon, this is what makes a bookstore meaningful, and offers an advantage over online store. If you are visiting Athens, visit Free Thinking Zone (and speak to the owner, Areti, a smart, knowledgeable person).

Excellent book shop that also serves coffee. The owner is friendly and they have mostly books in Greek, but also some in English.
