Free Walking Tour Cartagena Beyond Colombia

Our guide was Fernando. He possesses an extensive knowledge of Colombian history and explains it with great enthusiasm and pride. Through the tour, learned many eye opening facts about the local culture, social life and contributions to world geopolitics. He did this all with a smile and many little tips to make our visit much more fulfilling. His assistant Hugo was also very approachable and had much information to share. All around, I could not recommend this tour more strongly.

Took the Getsemani art district tour with Luis Carlos and it was great! I would highly recommend. I did both the walking tours of the city and Getsemaní tours both are incredible tours. I love the guides they are so passionate and very talkative tried their best to engage us through out the tour. Even though they work for free I didn’t felt like they are not doing good job even for a sec. They love their city and country. They want tourists to come to experience their culture and the beauty the city will offer. I highly encourage this two walking tours which gives good knowledge and get you deep dive into the city.

Great little tour! Our guide, Pedro, was fantastic — very knowledgeable and friendly. There’s so much to take in, and the old city is seriously stunningly beautiful. Not to mention, the price (FREE) is right! Make sure to bring water and wear sunscreen!

Highly recommend!! Fernando was an extremely educational and charismatic guide. He speaks English the best of anyone I’ve met, and the tour provides headsets so that you’re hearing through an earpiece and don’t have to be crowded in a tiny group the whole time. Getsemani in the evening was the highlight. So much local life and better vibes than El Centro, and no horse drawn carriages with frail injured and old horses. Do the Saturday or Sunday 4pm English tour, and ask for Fernando!

Fernando was a great tour guide! My Spanish is not the best so the English version with him is awesome! Very knowledgeable and energetic during the whole tour. Would definitely recommend others to take the walking tour with him.

We did the Old Town walking tour with our excellent guide Fernando. We thoroughly enjoyed getting to see this part of Cartagena with a very knowledgeable, passionate, and friendly guide. Fernando has studied hard to learn English, which made the tour very easy to understand. He was enthusiastic about answering any questions. Great tour and awesome guide.
