Free Walking Tour Medellin - Real City Tours

I really enjoyed the two tours I did with our local guides. Very authentic, great storytelling and also great recommendations. More than Escobar Tour Overall I really loved this tour, although it wasn’t what I original expected. It is slower pace than a regular walking tour but they really dive deep. My recommendation would be to do this tour second, after the city tour. Free Walking City Tour Especially loved the parks and business area with all the beautiful statues and sculptures.

The 3 hour street tour of Medellin was amazing. Just the right pace with plenty of stops where our local guide Achira filled us in on a ton of information about Medellin, Colombia, and the history of both. It never felt like we were rushed, but we covered a lot of ground! Highly recommend a tour if you're looking for more than just the sights, but rather want to learn about the city and its culture. Parque Botero was a highlight.

This was an excellent, informative free walking tour. Pablo was friendly, knowledgeable and approachable! I went with my husband and 11 year old son. We all loved the tour and learning more about Medellin. The tour did touch on real aspects of life in Medellin (past and present) including sex work and drugs. Pablo was aware that some parents may not want their kids to be exposed to those discussions and sights and gave us a heads up before hand, which was very thoughtful.

Carolina is such a wonderful tour guide, I really enjoyed her vibrant energy, you could tell she is passionate about what she does. I learnt so much on this tour and took some great photos - I am so grateful! Would definitely recommend to everyone.

Dio was an outstanding tour guide. Native, born & raised and passionate about sharing about his city. Very knowledgeable on so much of the city history. This is such a fun and informative tour. Our guide was passionate about telling the story of his Medellin, the city he grew up in. The tour itself is well set up with detailed instructions on where to meet and how to get there, together with additional free information about things to see and do in Medellin. It was all so good we did two more tours with this company and will definitely use them the next time we are in Medellin.

I can’t express how good this tour was!! Pablo is a phenomenal storyteller, so passionate and knowledgeable and created a really safe space for people to ask literally any question under the sun. Totally lived up to the other reviews. I enjoyed our tour. It was well organized and paced and our guide, Julio, was excellent. This was very educational, even as someone of Colombian decent. He did not shy away from the tough subjects and questions. His personal experience was one of the things that made the tour very interesting. I would suggest this tour to anyone visiting.
