"Offered daily, Free Walking Tours Bordeaux is the best (and most popular) free tour in town and a great introduction to Bordeaux; it lasts two hours and covers highlights including the Gothic cathedral, the Neoclassical Grand Theatre, and the Water Mirror. The guides are full of amazing recommendations for where to eat and drink, so be sure to ask for their suggestions — and remember to tip at the end." - Matthew Kepnes
Top class from start to finish. So much information delivered in a very pleasant and precise manner. We really enjoyed the Tour with Rosie and have no hesitation in recommending her.
Well done and thanks 🙏 👍

We took a wonderful walking tour with Caz this morning. He made it fun with so much interaction, with a lot of history and stories going back centuries. He was very well informed and well prepared. I especially liked the fact that he was very mindful of the fact that there were people of different age groups, didn’t rush us during the walk.
He was considerate of the pedestrians cyclists too as ours was a large group.
The best to this team!
Thank you Caz!

Absolutely great experience, our guide was a young man called Ani, really informative, but in such a fun way, think I took it pretty much everything he told us. No rush, was a really relaxed enjoyable couple of hours

Despite the awful wet cold weather, Arni gave an excellent tour. He was friendly and very knowledgeable. It is a must to do this when you arrive in this beautiful city.

We started the day with a slight hiccup having had the incorrect address confirmation for the starting point. The guide (Melanie) could not be more apologetic and it was simply an email mishap from an updated confirmation template. The tour group was kind enough to wait for us to walk around to the correct meeting point.
Our tour guide was informative, relaxed and had a good sense of humour. Melanie was able to include participants without anybody feeling uncomfortable. Covered the history of the city and characters who shaped it perfectly. Melanie was also full of recommendations for places to visit and eateries which was very much appreciated.
The group was 9 in total which felt like a good number for an intimate tour and conversation.
I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this tour and suggest doing it on the first couple of days to help you get your bearings and plan ahead if staying for a week or so. It would also work if you’re only here for the weekend to cover highlights within centre.
We didn’t hesitate to pay 40€ as a couple for a tour of this quality and for 2 hours.
I would definitely consider future tours from this operator.

Adrian was a fantastic tour guide. His English was great, and his jokes were even better. Suitable recommendations were provided throughout the walking tour, and at the end he was very accommodating of any other recommendations tourists would ask of. The walking tour took just over 2 hours, with a 5min break halfway through. The route of the walking tour covers a significant amount of the inner city. Thank you Adrian for an amazing morning around the town - Chris and Laoise from Ireland
