Freeport Harbor

Not a lot here. If your cruising in, book a tour or pick up a taxi to take you about. It's OK for souvenirs etc. Food outlets were plentiful

Don't under-estimate the offerings at this port... This island only has a couple of malls outside the port accessible by taxi... and they are fairly generic... Having visited this island several times, I can tell you the quality and variety of crafts and gifts offered here at Freeport Harbor, are equal to, or better than what you'll find at "Lucaya Marketplace," which is exactly where you'll get dropped off if you ask to go to "town," or "shopping" - so don't be hasty... If you're into high quality hand crafted and painted items, unlike other carribean islands, here in the harbor, the goods are high end, well made, and pricier than normal, but worth it for their sheer artistic value and craftsmanship...

Freeport was the first stop in our Bahamas cruise tour. We did not get an Excursion because we wanted to get off the ship and wander around and see what all was there. In the secure area, there isn't much at all. There are a handful of shops and a couple of restaurants and bars that you can stop into. To be honest, we really did not enjoy this stop very much.

Not a lot to see or do here, but you can disembark and walk around a bit, grab a bite to eat, sample local beer, buy something at a vendor's stall or local shop, etc.

Unbelievable clarity in the water. Plenty to do and see. Free beaches are so, so. White sand is pretty. Different excursions available. Jeep rides, 4 wheeler rides. Shopping. Tours. All available for an extra charge.

Cleveland Beach club. The beach was amazing!

Should be better, more quality in the products they sell

2nd time there but first time off the boat 🚢. No Covid restrictions and granddaughter was vaccinated this time. Shops are sweet with some handmade items. Prices reasonable.
