After 5 minutes in the trying room, a rude and nosy homeless old lady came and told us in broken English that we were taking too long. She was so insistant and rude that I thought her mind was gone and I'd better not try and reason with her, so I calmly told her I did not wish to discuss her personal perception of time any further. She became even more aggressive and to our surprise, we quickly learned that she's the shop manager and that she's losing lots of customers because we've been in there for so long (again, 5 minutes). She was also worried her boss would be unhappy with her if the sales were bad because of "people like us" (in this instance: buying customers).
Well, lady, if your sales are bad, don't go and look too far away. Lucky for you, there are plenty of mirrors around the shop.
UPDATE:
You are actually trying to deflect the utter lack of respect shown in this shop to us? That is rich. Are we to believe you never read the dozens of comments saying the exact same thing?
Working in sales is an actual job, one that deserves to be learned. You have to look the part, and act with a bare minimum of dignity.
Simple math: we spent 5 minutes (would have been less without the useless meddling of the manager) and spent 20€. 2 trying rooms · (12 · 20€) = 480€ per hour. Enough to pay your staff and rent, and leave your customers in peace, yes? Just as they do in any other similar shop.
Now that you mention it, she also criticized the low amount and price of what we were thinking about buying. What is expected of your customers? Repeatedly painting them as cheap after several tens of Euros have been spent across your different shops really speaks volume about the management of this brand.
I'll be sure to spread the word around; customers are to be earned, not insulted.
