Freight HHG

Freight is one of my favourite independent retailers, and online or in store I get thoughtful, efficient service. I've bought their unique duster coats for years and they have served me incredibly well! They are beautifully shaped, incredibly practical and durable, and I have taken them all over the world with me. Recently I had a delivery issue with the Royal Mail which the team at Freight persistently challenged on my behalf until it was resolved - true warriors for the customer! I love them.

My experience of Freight could not have been better. Warm, friendly customer service, going out of their way to help even with the of smallest things. A delightful and prompt, personal exchange that is focussed on customer satisfaction. The easiest and most rewarding communication I have ever experienced. Oh, and the alpaca socks are gorgeous. Beautifully made, and lovely and warm. Great people and great products. A winning combination.

My favourite shop in Lewes - I never leave without buying something. I love the matt stoneware (I have my eye on the breakfast cups), the chili paste is fantastic and, top of the list for me, the boxwood handled carbon steel knives from Spain. I have three, they sharpen like a dream and are looking great after several years. I’m delighted to see two new sizes in the range, and I’ll probably persuade myself they’re an essential purchase next time I’m in.

This is the best shop ! The Freight range, designs, ethics and customer service are fantastic! My favourites are their jumpers which are gorgeous; fabulous quality and fit and the vetivert and oak moss body cream, which is the best I have ever used, utterly scrumptious ! If only the average British high street had a Freight shop !

First class business. Helpful on phone and they deliver via Royal Mail in sustainable neat brown paper packaging. Absolutely love my cream polo jumper and it’s ‘Made in England’ to boot. Refreshing to have such good service. Large companies are losing it with their lack of connectivity and using poor delivery companies. Well done, Freight.

Do not sleep on this shop. This place will offer you a break from all the TJ MAXX furniture and show you carefully selected home accessories , that are made well and to last. Yes things aren’t 5£ here but you will have these items probably for the rest of your life in your household. Give their signature scent a try. It’s mesmerizing.

A wonderful find! Excellent customer service (you speak to real - very friendly - people when you call!) and high quality products, ethically packaged, at very reasonable prices. What's not to like?! Look forward to visiting the shop, in Lewes, when I'm next in the area...

A very well considered home-wear and lifestyle store. Beautiful crockery, I just want to see more. Fine selection of gifting over the Christmas period. Interesting to see so many items made in the UK. Please expand your ranges.
