The ambiance is very commercialized and feels more like a food hall that I would see back in the states. They have counter service and table service options for the outdoor patio. The patio overlooks the field, pond, and horses. The wine was pretty good, but I would rather visit some of the other nearby smaller wineries with more personalized service.

This was our last college trip, we had a blast. We really enjoyed the ride and also the wine. The winery is amazing, everything is super clean and you can smell the quality around.

Wow what an experience and how beautiful! This place is incredible! Huge and you have to have to do the tour! It’s so amazing to see all the barrels and all the wine bottles just wow. Lots of cool spots to take pictures too! They have lots of wine of course and at the end of the tour you get a little taste of the wine and get to keep the glass!! The mark is on the bottom of the glass part so save the glass it’s worth it!! Bathrooms are very clean. They also take pictures of you around the area and then you can purchase them (great idea). They have a shop to buy everything. Very fancy and very cute! Must visit if you are in the area. Ps. They also sell ice cream!!

I was here last month and I had a great experience at this place, It's huge! I've gotta say, their tour around the place is really good, very informative, the staff is well customer service oriented, from the tours outside to the tours inside below. They also have an open space where you can get drinks and buy snacks to enjoy with wine or drinks. They also have shops where you can buy local items representing the roots of Queretaro. Overall I think this place is great.

The staff member Benjamin is always outstanding and incredibly helpful whenever my husband and I visit from the U.S. for family trips. There are plenty of informative tours and activities that are perfect for all ages, including families with children. Great wine options as well!

We did the wine tasting and tour which was interesting however the explanations were very fast and had a hard time following everything . The vineyard was relatively small . There was not too much variety for food either

This is a pretty amazing experience. I knew nothing about wine and learned a lot in the tour. The staff is very helpful and the walkthrough is very complete. You can choose between 3 different walkthroughs, we took the UVA-Bus package. We got to see the grape vines up close, got a small photo break at a super cute spot with a view of Peña de Bernal. You can go into the factory and see how the wine is made. To top it off we got a cold glass of wine. You can also purchase wine in the gift shop. I had to get 6 bottles, the prices are a steal. It’s a must do if you are visiting Queretaro.

It was a beautiful place (we visited in December) & very packed. They give you a tour of their facility and the tour includes a history of how Freixenet got there. They explain the wine process as well. Great for wine lovers or just those who like exploring. They give you a sample at the end of the tour. And there is a lot of variety to purchase from. They have a roofed and open yard at the center of the entrance so you can sit, relax and enjoy some of their wine with snacks for purchase. The tours were in Spanish. I give them a four because I wish they were better managed, it was too crowded and a little all over the place but I am sure with a bit of management help this place could be a 5!

The service is horrible!!! The girl at the front is very rude, the waiters are very unwelcoming!! The wine is good but wouldn't come here at all!! The music outside is great and you can just enjoy that without purchasing anything!! I heard when a waiter told a couple, go inside and wait "I have a table!" When they barely arrived and I saw when they were added to the back of list!! Owner must pay attention to the service !!!!

Located next to a noisy freeway and a pig farm (imagine the smell) this large and busy winery lacks charm. The tour was led by two young ladies on a major power trip. They insisted that everyone remained completely silent although we did not see a single person actually doing the work of making wine. They said aggressively over and over silencio, as if we were in the Vatican. Mind you, there wasn't a single person behaving disrespectfully in the large group. The groups are very large, 40 people. They barked their presentation at us as if we were insubordinate young children and they were nuns. The sparking swill we were presented at the end was fuzzy sugar water with a bitter finish. Absolutely undrinkable for a champagne fanatic. I've toured dozens of wineries all over the world, this was unquestionably the worst experience given the rudeness, draconian policies, and terrible product. If you have any understanding of wine, don't waste your time. I suggest visiting the Valley Guadalupe. They produce exceptional product there including brut style sparkling that would surprise and delight any fan of Champagne. The wineries in that region are stunning and the people are gracious and welcoming.

Best place to go during the 'Fiesta de la Vendimia' which includes a glass to sample a few wines or bubbly, watch a concert, enjoy live music around the large grounds, shop the local vendors, stomp the grapes or have a meal! We saw Alejandra Guzman and what a fantastic venue for a show!
