French Leave Beach

Beautiful long beach on the Atlantic side - easy enough to get to from governor’s harbor, just follow the (unpaved) road in front of French Leave Reasort

French Leave beach is yet another gorgeous beach. This is on the Atlantic side so the waves are more aggressive than in the Bahamas Shelf. The sand here is also again pink if you look carefully. This is a really deep beach and is a long beach. Great for a long walk and a great swim in the ocean. French Leave resort has some services for their guests here in about the middle of the beach with the resort being on the Bight side of the island so if you stay at that resort just realize that you will need to golf cart over to this beach. You can't walk out of your room onto the beach.

Top 2 or 3 beach on North Eleuthera. Hard to pick a favorite but this was right up there. The whitest sand and the most refreshing water. Fairly easy to get to and near Governor's Harbor. We caught it on a calmer day when the ocean side wasn't so rough. The sand on the bottom in the water was like silk. We could have stayed here for days. Just absolutely idealic and only a few other folks around.

Absolutely stunning beach. I met three very large sting rays who were passive, and yet very curious about me. Also curious were the tropical fish who nibbled on my toes. Beautiful pink sand. Bring your snorkel and sunscreen!

This Beautiful beach on Atlantic side, as the previously reviews, most depends on the sea condition, but if you are lucky (as me and my family) and you find the best weather and sea condition, this place will be your favorite beach in Eleuthera Island.

Easy to find and drive to. The water is clear and the beach is clean. The waves can get large.

This is one of the most beautiful beaches that I have seen and rated in the top 20 on the planet. Only bad thing is those Americans visiting the island with their dogs and running on the beach with their unleashed four-legged friends have to think about others enjoying this amazing beach.

Beautiful beach with amazingly blue water. One of my favorite beaches on the island and never packed. Go early in the morning and you won’t run into anyone for hours. Truly an experience.
