A lot of bang for your buck. This joint is a nice joint. I thought their security was above average (which is *always* something to keep in mind in New Orleans). i'm from New Orleans & think the location is actually excellent. Its very close walking distance to "the action" of the French Quarter, but doesn't come w/the downsides of many hotels located chock in the middle of those tourist hot spots like parking a vehicle you may be driving - which is often difficult & expensive - in the area of the Quarter. And the Quarter is often a terrible area to try to drive through at all. There are a lot of choke points & it can get really bad to even get + take a taxi in & out or around. The hotel's room in which i stayed was appealing, clean, spacious, and almost like a full fledged apartment. The main swimming pool was very nice. Very nice area in which to hang out. Nice architecture. Nice vibes. The staff were down to Earth, patient, accommodating, & friendly I've stayed at at least 7 other hotels in close proximity, including multiple +4 star joints, but i think this is my favorite of all overall & its certainly the best price vs value wise.

I absolutely love the tall doors, the fact it has the original French doors with a porch access. This place has 2 pools not sure if both for this location but it was convenient. The private parking is a plus. Customer Service was top notch. Beyond exceptional and I plan to come back and visit. Guess what they have an ATM on the property which is convenient. The only 2 downside but can be handle was housekeeping. They don’t knock when they want to clean your room they just beep theirselves in (make sure your but door lock in the secure location) and with the tall French doors there is a gap between the floor and the bottom door so you know what that means yep a roach crawled in. Out of 3 full days it was just one and the only reason I didn’t freak out is because everything else was well worth the stay. Plus that’s what bug spray is for.

Location is great! We loved the building. All the staff we encountered were friendly and nice. Room was spacious and perfect for our weekend getaway. I loved that we could open the blinds on our door and see outside.

The French Quarter Courtyard was a fantastic stay. The room was clean, the courtyard and pool were well maintained, and the bed was comfortable. ||The location is amazing for walking to whatever you want to see... Bourbon St, Frenchman St they are all nearby. ||My wife and I Saturday 7 nights and it was very well privlced for the area. We will definitely be returning and would recommend it to anyone.

Located in a very central area. Was able to go and visit everything I wanted to. Local to cemeteries, bourbon street, the Mississippi river etc. The building was not clear in what was the hotel and what was the apartments and the sofa bed had dirty bedding in it. No staff on the front desk for the apartments. Other than that the apartment was lovely and very good. Facilities to cook and there was 2 TVs.

We had a terrible time checking in due to my friends ID. They refused to accept it (even though TSA & the bars did). They told us the only thing we could do would be to rebook a different room under my name as the good news was they "had availability". We were able to get our 3rd party to switch the reservation to my name without having to do that. The room was musty/moldy smelling so we went and asked to switch rooms and were told "even if we could we can't". The hotel did not clean our rooms every day the floors were filthy. There is no microwave or fridge. There is no vending machine as the website suggests. The "free breakfast" is a tray of pastries that doesn't get replaced until they are all gone. So the following day they just put out what's left from the day before. The pool was "clean" as in they vacuumed it. But no one bothered to use the net to clean anything off the top of the water. We mostly removed the things we didn't want to swim with ourselves. The location was great as it put us close to most of the bustle but d the French quarter. We used mass transit the majority of the time which stopped right in front of the hotel entrance.

Google
Great location for walking distance to the French Quarter and the riverfront. As well, some of the tour buses have stops right outside the front door of the hotel, so it was very convenient for some of the tours. I felt very safe walking to and from the French Quarter late at night, so would not hesitate to stay here again in future visits to New Orleans.

Google
A cute hotel conveniently located to the French Quarter, but not too close. Excellent parking facilities. Staff were friendly and helpful. Room was very comfortable and well equipped. I loved that the accommodation was a restored old building.

Yelp
The hotel was nice and staff really nice. The beds clean and comfortable. My only issue was that this hotel does not have a refrigerator nor microwave in the room. Other than that I enjoyed my stay and would perhaps stay again.

Yelp
Not the plane to come if you're looking for luxury. However it was clean and the staff was friendly and helpful. The best part is its location. It's a short walk to both Frenchman and Bourbon Streets, and that's what's really important.

Yelp
This place is a hard no. So many hazards. Got there they gave us a fob key to open up our room. Got to the room and there was someone stuff in there. Told the housekeeper that was around and she called the front desk and gave us a different room.... Yall why did the same fob key open up that room. SAFETY WAS NOT A THING. We told them the problem and they looked confused and kept telling us the "correct" room... the issue is it's opening all these doors. The place is outdated, dirty, and has a smell.

Yelp
Absolutely great staff, good prices, and phenomenal prices. the premises is clean and truly beautiful. we were given about 5 water bottles when checked in - but i hated that we didnt have a fridge in our room (room 201, with a private balcony facing n. rampart). door is locked 24/7 so buzz yourself in - good security. didnt get a chance to try out the pool, but the area is beautiful. our AC sucked, but we didnt bother asking for it to be adjusted either. overall very quiet spot, but once you open the shutters you hear the full outside so keep thatin mind if you grab one of the balcony rooms. wifi works great. bed was comfy. plenty of towels. beautiful room w/ high ceiling and a large king bed. they also have a parking lot with parking, but the street parking seems fine too. bus stop and trolley stop right outside, plenty of bars out front door, also to the left is a 24/7 gas station if you need anything. downstairs in the common area are pasties, water, coffee every morning. would stay here again!

Yelp
First of all don't be bamboozled by the name French quarter it's not in the French quarter. Bourbon street 12 blocks from here. Ok! The water cold the tv don't work ppl just sitting on the front step like it's the hang out spot. So we left and booked another hotel we will dispute the refund with expedia later. One way in and stairs elevator don't work we was told it slow by time we wait we could walk up two long wooden flights .

Yelp
Booked a king size bed, but did not get one. This place is relatively clean but a dump. Across the street from the French Quarter. Not in a great area. There will be homeless people hanging outside and on the steps of the hotel and cockroaches on the sidewalk. The room had no water pressure, no cold or hot water (only lukewarm). The tv did not work every night due to the crappy wifi I guess. Also there was a complete lack of furniture! Only one nightstand so the other side of the bed had nothing. No table, desk, nothing! I asked for another luggage rack because I didn't want to leave my other suitcase on the floor and they said no. No hooks on the walls or shelves. I was forced to put everything on the floor which is gross. They also had no blankets on the bed so I froze every night. Gave up asking the staff for anything because they don't care about you or your comfort . The pool was not clean and had cigarettes butts in it. It's not heated and in the shade and just pretty gross. Do not stay here if you want to be comfortable. Not worth the money!
