Very nice. The room was clean and simple. I enjoyed that the room had a smart tv, so it was easy to sign into my streaming services instead of depending on cable. The staff was friendly, very helpful. They had coffee and water in the morning for guests. Not sure if parking is an option, I opted to park on the street. Located perfectly, far enough where you don’t hear the hustle and bustle of the quarter but close enough to walk.

Great Gem in the heart of the French Quarter. The staff was amazing: friendly, helpful, professional. If you want to feel like you are in New Orkeans this hotel is tge spot. I really enjoyed my stay there, their pretty courtyard and old mansion feel. It's also walking distance close to Bourbon Street but far enough away that you don't hear all the noise down there so you can sleep. Our room was clean and spacious.

Overall a not a bad stay. Biggest complaints were that’s there no mini fridge in the rooms and lack of places to put belongings, there was only a night stand and a chair for 3 people to stuff their stuff. AC didn’t work in our room but the staff was great and sent someone out right away to look at it while they gave us a different room.Hotel is a bit further away from places I’ve stayed before so be prepared to walk a tiny bit more, nothing too crazy. Not a bad and would stay again.

Please save yourself the nightmare of staying at this hotel. I booked for 4 nights for a work trip through priceline. The booking said there was free breakfast, but when we got there they told us there wasn't. The room looked cool with exposed brick, but in the bathroom you could see directly to the hotel room above and you could hear absolutely everything going on in that room. I complained to the front desk and was told I couldn't switch rooms, but that the people above us were leaving the next morning and that they would keep the upstairs room empty during our stay. That is the only reason why we didn't check out right away. I come back from working that day to see new people are in the upstairs room now. I asked the front desk to move again and was told there was no room, so I told them I would need to check out. I had only stayed one night. I booked a new hotel through priceline for the next 3 nights. When I called priceline to get a refund for the 3 nights not stayed at this dump, the hotel lied and said I stayed there the entire 4 days. Please don't go here. There are 1000 better options in and around the French Quarter, which I found out after.

What a quaint little hotel. We enjoyed our stay very much. The rooms are huge, but do not have a fridge or microwave. It was conveniently located near the French Quarter and it didn't cost too much to Uber to the places we wanted to go to.

Very close to the quarter. The room was very clean and the bed was one of the most comfortable beds I have ever slept in. It was a little sketchy walking to the quarter so I wouldn’t walk it alone especially at night. Once we were in the quarter it was completely fine. We walked back to the hotel a different way and it was better than the way we went.

Don’t bother calling or texting because no one answers. Pluses: renovated, clean, friendly administration, reasonable cost. Minuses: poor signage at the front door so how do you enter the building if you don’t have an electronic fob, no online presence ie no answer to phone or text. No elevator to 2nd floor. Front desk service is excellent but property owner assumed 70+ year old customers are tech savvy. If you are over 50 then look elsewhere for accommodation.

I absolutely love the tall doors, the fact it has the original French doors with a porch access. This place has 2 pools not sure if both for this location but it was convenient. The private parking is a plus. Customer Service was top notch. Beyond exceptional and I plan to come back and visit. Guess what they have an ATM on the property which is convenient. The only 2 downside but can be handle was housekeeping. They don’t knock when they want to clean your room they just beep theirselves in (make sure your but door lock in the secure location) and with the tall French doors there is a gap between the floor and the bottom door so you know what that means yep a roach crawled in. Out of 3 full days it was just one and the only reason I didn’t freak out is because everything else was well worth the stay. Plus that’s what bug spray is for.

Yelp
The hotel was nice and staff really nice. The beds clean and comfortable. My only issue was that this hotel does not have a refrigerator nor microwave in the room. Other than that I enjoyed my stay and would perhaps stay again.

Yelp
Not the plane to come if you're looking for luxury. However it was clean and the staff was friendly and helpful. The best part is its location. It's a short walk to both Frenchman and Bourbon Streets, and that's what's really important.

Yelp
This place is a hard no. So many hazards. Got there they gave us a fob key to open up our room. Got to the room and there was someone stuff in there. Told the housekeeper that was around and she called the front desk and gave us a different room.... Yall why did the same fob key open up that room. SAFETY WAS NOT A THING. We told them the problem and they looked confused and kept telling us the "correct" room... the issue is it's opening all these doors. The place is outdated, dirty, and has a smell.

Yelp
Absolutely great staff, good prices, and phenomenal prices. the premises is clean and truly beautiful. we were given about 5 water bottles when checked in - but i hated that we didnt have a fridge in our room (room 201, with a private balcony facing n. rampart). door is locked 24/7 so buzz yourself in - good security. didnt get a chance to try out the pool, but the area is beautiful. our AC sucked, but we didnt bother asking for it to be adjusted either. overall very quiet spot, but once you open the shutters you hear the full outside so keep thatin mind if you grab one of the balcony rooms. wifi works great. bed was comfy. plenty of towels. beautiful room w/ high ceiling and a large king bed. they also have a parking lot with parking, but the street parking seems fine too. bus stop and trolley stop right outside, plenty of bars out front door, also to the left is a 24/7 gas station if you need anything. downstairs in the common area are pasties, water, coffee every morning. would stay here again!

Yelp
First of all don't be bamboozled by the name French quarter it's not in the French quarter. Bourbon street 12 blocks from here. Ok! The water cold the tv don't work ppl just sitting on the front step like it's the hang out spot. So we left and booked another hotel we will dispute the refund with expedia later. One way in and stairs elevator don't work we was told it slow by time we wait we could walk up two long wooden flights .

Yelp
Booked a king size bed, but did not get one. This place is relatively clean but a dump. Across the street from the French Quarter. Not in a great area. There will be homeless people hanging outside and on the steps of the hotel and cockroaches on the sidewalk. The room had no water pressure, no cold or hot water (only lukewarm). The tv did not work every night due to the crappy wifi I guess. Also there was a complete lack of furniture! Only one nightstand so the other side of the bed had nothing. No table, desk, nothing! I asked for another luggage rack because I didn't want to leave my other suitcase on the floor and they said no. No hooks on the walls or shelves. I was forced to put everything on the floor which is gross. They also had no blankets on the bed so I froze every night. Gave up asking the staff for anything because they don't care about you or your comfort . The pool was not clean and had cigarettes butts in it. It's not heated and in the shade and just pretty gross. Do not stay here if you want to be comfortable. Not worth the money!
